'Kay, this movie is going to have a shorter summary than the description of the first one, because I already wrote a script for it, and now I'm being lazy.

The movie takes place next spring, after Jenna's puppies are born. Balto and Boris are discussing a mysterious dream that Balto is constantly having. Balto is skeptical of Boris' theories, and just dismisses his dream as nothing more than that--a dream, but when Aleu runs away after Balto tells her why no human will ever adopt her.

"That hunter was looking for wild animals to kill for food and fur."

"So? I'm not a wild animal..."

"Well, he thought you were."

"What? Why?"

"He thought you were a wolf."

Aleu meets her spirit guide, a mouse named Muru. He explains that knowing what you are is not the same of knowing who you are.

Balto meets up with Aleu again, and they come across a wolf pack, led by a wise old wolf named Nava. Niju, a young, semi-evil wolf, doesn't believe that they should leave their land to find the caribou, but the wolf pack leaves anyway, led by Balto.

In the end, Aleu finds out who she is (she is Aleu the Wolf), and is the new leader of the Wolf Clan. She never does return home or say goodbye to her mother and her friends, but becoming a Wolf Pack leader more than makes up for that!

And about Nava and Niju: They never do leave the land, because Niju was to afraid of change, and Nava was too weak to make the swim. The white wolf does appear, with a voice and a name. Her name is Aniu, she is held in high regard with the wolves, and she is Balto's mother. She helps Balto and Aleu along in their journey, taking many different forms. You might think that Aniu is also Balto's spirit guide...
