9/21/2006 Mere days before his latest scheme comes to a glorious head, Doctor Octopus is busy within his underground headquarters, overseeing the last details. Instead of the white suit he wore during the Sinister meeting Monday night, he's dressed in the more traditional green jumpsuit and goggles, with orange gloves, boots, and belt. At the moment, he's in conference with his second-in-command, a greyhair with the hardened look of an old soldier and a grim, icily professional demeanor. All around is activity, crisp and controlled. Rine walks across the top of a building that half creates the alley where the entrance to Otto's layer is. She gets to the ledge, and stops looking over into the crevice. She 'ports to the middle of the alley, and gets a small circle of the cement wet upon doing so. She lets herself be led by his troops to the elevator. She stares blankly at the door on the way down, waiting to talk to Otto about business. It's but a couple moments before Calcephony arrives at the same place wearing a hoodie tugged up over her head, hands shoved in her pockets. She enters to face the guards. "Another..." they say and lead her toward the elevator which is currently in use, waiging for it to return. The greyhaired minion -- or minion-plus, perhaps -- gives the Octopus a salute and heads off. The mastermind doesn't even watch him go, but turns to face Rine, arms folded across his chest. "Ah, Rine. Some last-minute business?" Rine walks closer to the leader of this orginization. She walks up care-free to Otto, and winks to the minion+. She asks otto, "Well I'm still a little confused on this scheme, or atleast my part in it..." She says crossing her arms under her chest, and leaning on one foot. The elevator rises up to ground level holding the minion+ who is faced with Calie upon his arrival. The man's brow furrows and he simply becons her into the elevator, not bothering to leave it. Calie slips in, going down. "I thought it would be obvious," says Otto Octavius, moving, via tentacle-power, down the center space and toward the display table. The 3-d blueprint of Ryker's rotates slowly in the air. "First of all, I expect your gang to augment my own forces. They will, of course, be well equipped. I also expect your powers of teleportation to get us into any portion of the prison that becomes blocked off. I fully expect at least once instance where the prison staff will barricade themselves." Rine looks over Otto a moment before sending her gaze to his goggles. "About my men...They are I gang, so most aren't too willing to do this, I was probably gonna wind up bringing my most loyal ten, if that's fine." She believes this because most men barely follow her anyways. Sexist bastards. She shifts her wait and looks at Otto starting her second part, "Well I can handle /that/" She says clapping her hands on two hidden pistols. The elevator doors hiss open and Calie steps out with the minion+ who nods once more and moves to take the elevator back up. The Elevator registers the up signal only after Calie has removed herself from it's vicinity. She Dares not come closer to the holo table at present. "Good evening. Otto pauses just in front of the elevated platform, his metallic arms holding him exactly at its level. He turns back smoothly, first to note Calie's arrival with a thin smile and then to answer Rine. "Good." No comment on her less-than-ideal grip upon her followers, though there's something mildly derisive in the twist of his mouth. Rine doesn't miss a beat, or an odd facial expression, "What's that about?" She asks Otto. She doesn't hate the guy, hell she kinda likes him, but that face. [He's thinkin something] She can't look back at Calie, she'd fall a few notches on the level of attention. From 7 foot tall armored beast to 5'7" pudgy girl. A silent command is issued and a visor like that off her suit Scythes over her face covering all but it's lower half. It's put a moments ponderance that leads her to draw a walkie talkie from her pocket, placing it in her hand. She steps closer, knowing her range very well. "Rine, wasn't it." The walkie talkie crackles, "Doctor..." the visor turns toward ock, "I have a planning suggestion or 3. Whatever Octavius is thinking, he doesn't share it with Rine. Instead he turns to the newly-masked Calie, thick eyebrows rising. "You may speak... Coil." He smirks. Rine purses her lips at Otto, but decides it best to not persue. She turns and looks over at Coil, giving the partner a nod. With eyes odd as hers, she can't seem to keep them off the visor, [What's she hidding?] She looks to the walkie talkie and starts to grow childish ideas, but refrains from pursuing those too. "I suggest Rene dump me in the buildings Nerve center almost immediately. I intend to make the entirety of that prison ours to it's core. It will work for us." The walkie talkie hisses with more harshness than Calie's own voice could even manage to muster. "I can do more with my abilities that most people imgine. Doctor Octopus taps his chin with one orange-gloved finger. "Extending your consciousness over the entire prison complex, if that is what you're suggesting, is quite an undertaking." Rine looks between the two and says, "I'll let you have my men Doctor. I'll do whatever you need me to." She says with a special level of loyalty, that only money and a good fight could amount too. Calie's mouth forms into a rather straight line beneather the shadow of the visor. "Yes, but with the right preparation and ample support I can do it. We wouldn't have to worry about many obstacles we otherwise would and we could avoid destroying the island's defensive systems and use them instead." A glance is spared for Rine, "You're very complacent. Don't you have any ideas?" The girl states reaching into her hoodie pocket and producing a plate-sized disc, attention back to Otto. "I also brought this - Otto merely gives Rine a nod, acknowledging her comment; it seems that the more technologically-minded young lady has more of his interest. A free tentacle extends outward toward "Coil" and the object's she's brought out. "And this is?" Rine nods to Coil, [Well maybe if I understood the why.] She shrugs, "Well it seems appears to me that we have to take the two keypoints simuletaniously." She points at the blueprints. The Entrance and exit point, and then the control room. "The seven of us, and the goons..." She trails off as she puts a hand up to her chin, thinking. A approving nod is spared for Rine though Coil speaks to Otto, "Frequency generator. Simple, but effective. We can't have anyone using sonar now can we. The frequency changes to prevent compensation. I figured I'd bring it though I assumed you may have already produced one on your own." The girl draws a breath, though the walkie talkie continues to talk for her. "Laying into the front is a distraction for simply setting up our own defenses. After all once we get me into the control center I can play cat and mouse with the guards quite easily. It's best that they believe they are controlling the situation. It's even more impreretive that a call doesn't go out immediately for help. I should be able to prevent that. Doctor Octopus stretches his lips in an evil looking grin as he brings the device Coil's brought closer for inspection. "Oh, I think we can let /one/ call go out. In our own time. Something... appropriately panicked and pained." He chuckles throatily, then looks up from the disc. "Very well. Just before we strike, Rine will teleport Coil into the prison's nerve center, here." Another tentacle touches a hidden control on the display table, and a portion of the display lights up, indicating the specific area. "Once Coil has taken over, the area will be blacked out and the main assault will begin." Rine watches the lighted area, well, light up. She crosses her arms and looks back at the two. "I assume guard count will be highest around here, and the main doors(The Helepad, and One ship harbor). But I assume that protection will be minimal inside the core." That's how she'd set her men up...or look like. "It helps to see where I'm going though." She adds after Otto. "Then we'll have to make multiple, appropriately armed, jumps. I'll be giving the Anachronism an army, though I've not gotten to notify him, yet. I can auto my 'golems' But they will not be as effective without control; with control they are efficient." Coil states, "I will need a wiring schematic as well as a layout of the security features. If I can insert the diagrams into my armor, I should be able to manage things better. Otherwise I stand a risk of coming out of this a vegetable. "Of course," Octavius says obligingly, almost purring. Naturally it's in his, and his plan's, best interests to provide the appropriate resources to his 'partners', though by his manner you'd think he was conferring some great favor. A sharp gesture with one gloved hand brings a uniformed tech jogging forward. "Fetch Coil the schematics of the target. And those surveillance photos for Rine." He smiles crookedly. "All the better to visualize your destination. The less jumps the better." Otto adds, with arched eyebrows, "Will there be anything else, ladies?" Rine takes the pictures in her hands and glances at the top few before aligning them up, and looking at those green goggles, "That's all I need." She gives Otto a wink aswell, if it was playfull or more who knows. She looks over at Coil and says, "Looks like you and me..." She thumbs a hidden pistol, still not used to them. Calie nods to Octavious with a bit of a smirk, she knows full well that being grateful, respectful, with a dose of ego stroking is part of one way to stay on this man's good side. "It would seem that way." she says with a somewhat dry smile as the visor turns toward Rine. It's all buisiness right now. "How much weight can you teleport? Otto leaves the two of them to it, turning his back and lifting himself, via his tentacles, to the other side of the display table. His attention focuses on the display and his work; he examines Coil's invention in more detail and, in general, seems to tune the two of them out. Rine walks along side Coil, glancing over the pictures. She looks at the blank Visor, with her own blank eyes. She recalls the Armor she was wearing last time, "I'm sure that'll be no problem...It /is/ waterproof isn't it?" Doesn't want to ruin the electronics the girl works with. "Yes, of course it is. What would I be if I didn't have that going for me." The Walkie talkie still speaks for the girl, it is definately rather odd. "Myself and the armor weight 700lbs." Rine has grown used to the odd of New York, and quite adapt. She looks over at the girl, and her mouth drops open at the mention of the weight. She shakes her head, "Psh, Weight is pointless in teleporting, seeing I don't have to acctually pick you up...just be touching you." She says with a grin. The reaction from Rine is appropriate, the armor doesn't move like it weighs more than a feather. "Well, that is a plus I suppose. Rine stops infront of the elevator, and slumps down on the floor next to it, "Well see ya 'round, Coil." She looks down to the pictures in her hands and starts to look back and forth between them, the blueprint, and the 3-D visual on the Holo. She is trying to build a perfect mental picture so that when she gets there she will have no doubts about anything. As Calie reaches the elevator one of the men step up to her and hand her a data disc. "Thank you," she says, not bothering to thank Otto as he is.. absorbed. She looks to Rine, "Going to stay here? Rine takes a quick break from comparing the snaps to the prints, to look up at Coil. She replys, "Nah, don't want these pictures to be found by /anyone/. So I'll get my work done here, then burn them. You might oughta consider that with that disc when your done with it." She's just trying to cover her tracks like any good villian. "You don't have to tell me." Calie says, "See you soon Rine." With that she turns and steps into the elevator doors sliding closed in front of her face.
