Corvus. Once known as the Lone Hunter. Loved by some, Hated by many more.
He was the younger of two brothers, sons of the Timamu Mbeleni's Incosi of the Duma, Kizuka. His childhood was happy, until one day when his father was discovered dead. His older brother Umeme'Paka, who was only beginning adolescence, was forced to take his father's place as leader of their kind, advised by Kono, an adult cheetah. However, mere months after thier father was killed, so too was Umeme'Paka. Corvus was Incosi. And barely an adolescent. Soon after, Kono discovered a trail of deception and lies that led him straight to the Lion King of the Timamu Mbeleni, Dhalimu. And it was there that he discovered Dhalimu's plot to kill the Incosis. Meaning Corvus was next. Under the urging of Kono, Corvus fled the lands of his birth. Quickly after, he discovered he was being followed by two leopards serving Dhalimu... and trying to kill him. The brothers Mwangamizi and Damu. His childhood friends.
He managed to evade the brothers, but now he had nowhere to go; no home, no family... nothing. Corvus wandered the unknown lands for years, relying on what little knowledge he had gained from his short childhood. On a trip back to the Timamau Mbelieni's border, he met Kunguru, his childhood friend, whom everyone knew Corvus would end up with. And though circumstances had changed, Corvus and Kunguru did end up together, pledging their love for each other until death. And they left the Timamu Mbeleni forever.
The next morning, Corvus returned with a gazelle he took down to the spot Kunguru was sleeping.... and discovered her lying in a pool of blood. Dropping the gazelle, he rushed forward, but Kunguru was dead. It was then he saw two forms escaping into the distance.
Two leopards.
Corvus wandered for a year after his mate's death, coming upon the Pride Lands. He stayed here for a few moons before he discovered something... Mwanagamizi was in the area. After a few days tracking him down, Corvus attaced and killed him, though coming away with a few injuries himself... most noticably a long scar on his left cheek. But he held this scar with pride. The mark of his vengance.
