John Burkitt and David Moris's The Gentle Kingdom series is the definitive Fan Fiction series of the LK fandom. This series is by far the best LK fan fiction ever written. The writing is top-notch, the stories are well thought-out and explain a lot that was "left out" of the movie. It's almost as if Disney took these stories and made a small part of them into what we now know as "The Lion King." Be sure to read them in order, they wont make much sense if you don't. Enjoy!
Note: I've noticed there are a lot of typographical and grammatical errors in these books. I am in the process of editing these into a "final draft." There are also some inconsistencies in the stories themselves that I will fix. I'm also going to make them all look the same -- there are some pretty big formatting differences among the four books. This might take a while as I'm working on this while going to University full-time and working! Check back every once in a while, it'll be worth it!
