"The Kings Must be Crazy" Inspired by: Stahi's Post ;) Simba was wandering around one bright afternoon, watching the sights and sounds of his kingdom. There was always something new to see and Simba had always been an explorer. He sniffed the air; antelope were grazing nearby. He began to head in thier direction when he heard a loud whistling noise. Something incredibly hard hit him on the head with a great "CLUNK!" Simba was knocked out cold. When he awoke, there was a glass bottle with some sort of design on it. "Surely father must have sent it to us," he said thoughhtfully. "Perhaps we can use it somehow." He picked up the slippery thing in his mouth. There was some sort of brown liquid left in it, he observed. He returned back to Pride Rock, holding the thing proudly in his mouth, as if he had discovered the holy grail. "Gee, dad, what's that?" asked Kiara, noticing him appear. "I'm not sure. Don't touch it just yet. I think my father sent it. It came right from where Mufasa's Star is found at night, so it must be from him. Remember, don't touch it until I can find your mom." with that, Simba left Kiara and the thing alone. She totally ignored Simba's warnings, grabbed the bottle, and set off to find Kovu, Nuka and Vitani. When she arrived at the Outlands, she saw the three playing. "Pssst, Kovu, c'mere." the three of them came into the brush where Kiara had hidden the thing. "Look what my grandfather sent me." "What is it?" asked Kovu. "I don't know, but I think the stuff inside's magical drinking water. you wanna try it?" "I don't know if we should," said Vitani. "Don't be such a spoiled sport, Vitty," retorted Nuka. Vitani got defensive and grabbed the bottle from Kiara. "I'll show you," she hissed. She turned the bottle sideways and fit her tongue to lap up some of the liquid. "See? Here, your turn." She shoved the bottle in Nuka's face, who quickly drank some. then Kovu, and Kiara. So the four quickly got on a sugar rush and each raced off towards home; Kiara taking the thing with her. She found and andown fromgry Simba and Nala when she returned. "Kiara, I thought I told you NOT to take the thing." But Kiara was too hyper to listen to her father and began bouncing off the walls. "Young lady, get down from there this instant!" roared Simba. Kiara came down from the ceiling and sat in front of Simba. "Now where did you take the thing?" "To Kovu..." she said, not realizing she had revealed going to the Outlands. " "He's an outlander! I'm going to talk to their leader this instant." Simba's Pride and Scar's Pride got in a huge greed fight, smashing the bottle in the process. They were on the verge of killing each other when the four cubs stepped in. "STOP!" yelled Kovu. "This is our fault. We're sorry. The thing was evil and the kings must have sent it to us to get us back together," he said, speaking with maturity well beyond his age. "Look," said Simba. "Let's just let bygones be bygones. Why don't you come and join our pride?" "I suppose we will," said Zira. "We shall live together in peace and pray that the kings send us no more evil things." Simba led the Outsiders back to Pride Rock- when suddenly a vast array of Pixy Sticks fell from the sky..... I was just making that up as I went along so... ~Krazy Kat~
