In the great tradition of the original, I present some of the lesser known
events during the makings of Simba's Pride ;) Enjoy. Might have some
spoilers since the quotes might be close ;)

Simba's Pride- Outtakes 1

Scene: Rafiki holds up Kiara and the wind blows over him. He takes a deep
breath and then his eyes bug out and he almost drops the cub
Rafiki: Someone's gotta wash dis cub's feet!!
Director: CUT!!

Scene: Pride Rock with Simba giving Kiara 'da business' before letting her
go.
Simba: And stay on the path I've marked for you!
Kiara: There's no way you're gonna get me to step in THAT!
Director: No adlibbing Kiara!
Kiara: <pouts> Can I still just be me, the way I am?
Director: NO!

Scene: Kiara bounds off with Simba calling after her
Simba: And stay on the path I've marked for you!
Nala: <chuckling softly> Simba, does she remind you of anyone?
Simba: Wha-huh?...<thinking> Who?
Nala: She's just like you were when you were young.
Simba: That's what I'm afraid of.
Nala: <pounces on Simba>
Simba: <blinking up at Nala>
Nala: <gives him the look and whispers something in his ear>
Simba: <gets an evil grin>
Director: Hey..waitaminute!! NO!! Stop that!! Aw for cryin' out loud!
Someone get the hose! CUUUUT!

Scene: Same one as above
Simba: <says rapidly> And stay on the path I've marked for you!
Nala: Simba, does she remind you of any-
Simba: <eagerly> No! <pounces on her before she can finish>
Director: For kings sake Simba!! Not now! Remember the target audience!!
CUT!

Scene: Pumbaa just jumped in the water
Timon: Oh no!! Umm, err, ahh, GEE Simba! The good news is, we dropped a
warthog on your daughter, the bad news is...umm shoot.
Director: Stick to the script!

Timon: Oh no!! Umm, err, ahh, GEE Simba! The good news is, we found your
daughter! The bad news is, we dropped a warthog on her.
Pumbaa: Kiara?
Timon: Pumbaa, let me define BABYSITTING
Pumbaa: <gives him a look>
Timon: Get up! You're gonna drown her!!
Pumbaa: <suddenly squeals and flies straight into the air>
Kiara: <wet and with claws beared> Had to be done...
Director: <weeping into the script>

Scene: Zira and Simba just get done arguing for the first time. Zira leans
over and grabs Kovu around his waist, who promptly loses his scared
demeanor and begins to squeal.
Kovu: Mom!! You're tickling me!!!!
Zira: <dropping him on the ground unceremoniously> Ugh...I need to look at
those Rindimo tapes again.
Director: CUT!!

Scene: We are One sequence, right at the end
Singing Simba: ...you will find when you see- TURTLE POWER!
Kiara: Turtle power??
Director: What the #(!! was that??
Simba: <coughs> Ahem, sorry...old habits you know.
Director: ARGH!

Scene: Zira singing "My lullaby"
Zira: But I dream a dream so pretty, that I don't feel so depressed.
<beginning to crawl through the gaps> But it soothes my inner- ACK! Help!!
I'm stuck again!
Director: <sighing> Someone get the lard!
Nuka: <bounces in front of Zira> I gotcha now! You gotta pay attention to
me! <begins to dance>

Scene: Rafiki's tree
Rafiki: Hmm? Kovu...and Kiara...together? This is your great plan? Are you
<bleep> crazy! What the <bleep> is wrong wid jou? Do you tink dat I can do
<bleep> miracles! You have had your <bleep><bleep><bleep> in the
<bleep><bleep>'in clouds too <bleep> long!!
Director: RAFIKI?! What the <bleep> do you think you are doing?? This is
<bleep> Simba's Pride, not Pulp Fiction!
Rafiki: <looks at him blankly> Well I'll be <bleep...>

Scene: Field with Kiara and Kovu under the stars
Kovu: <stepping away> Ahem...it's nothing. Nothing.
Kiara: Kovu...
Rafiki: <pops up and pokes Kovu in the nose> And where do you think you're
going
Kovu: ACK!! <shakes his head, trying to dislodge the finger his his
nostril>
Rafiki: <pulling to get his finger back> This is just <bleep> great...
Director: Blast it! Get those two apart <to an aide> And get some soap for
his mouth, we have a kiddy song coming up next.

Scene: Simba sitting under the stars, trying to talk to his father. Nala
saunters up and purrs to him. They converse.
Simba: I was seeking guidance from the kings of the past.
Nala: What did they say?
Simba: Nothing, silent as stars.
Nala: I can see what's going on down there as well as you can.
Simba: Wha?
Nala: <smacking him upside the head with a paw> Com'on lion! It's right in
front of your muzzle! They are in love?! Duh? Earth to Simba?? Are you
there?
Simba: <groaning as he lies on the ground, then pants softly> I love it
when you get this way..
Nala: <pounces>
Director: ACK! Cut! <he watches and blinks in surprise> Um...ten minute
break people!

Scene: In Upendi
Rafiki: whoa...de colors...de colors..
Kovu and Kiara: <look at each other strangely> I'm not seeing it.
Rafiki: <puts their noses together and smears some stuff in between>
Kovu and Kiara: AAAH! there they are....@whee!

Scene: In Upendi
Kovu and Kiara: <falling 'down from lover's leap'>
Rafiki: <pulls the plug but quails as they get stuck> Someone call da
plumber!
Director: <downs another scotch> Thanks Dave, I needed that.

Scene: Love will Find a way, in the field, Kovu and Kiara are looking at
each other. They run toward each other and CRACK! smack their heads and
fall back on the ground
Kovu & Kiara: Love will find a- OW!!!
Director: <growling> cut...get the ice.

Scene: Timon and Pumbaa against the rock with the Outlanders chasing them
Timon: Alright! Don't anyone move! This thing's loaded and I know how to
use it!
<green cloud that obscures view>
Timon: <gasping> You were supposed to hold it ya moook!
Pumbaa: Sowwie..
Director: CU-ooohh...<falls unconscious>
