Hi all, The lives of the rogue lions have always fascinated me. They spend there lives searching for that elusive home that they may or may not find. I wrote this poem the other night that I think fits the life of a rogue lion. Endings by Jim Cady Reaching the end of the line the sun setting on the years. Night is falling fast leaving you alone with your fears. Wondering how to go I blindly choose my trail and begin the journey of years content that I won't fail. I'm sure there will be pain there always is in life. I pray I may bear it well and pass safely through its strife. Along the way I met those who were very dear to me. Some journey with me still, others have passed beyond what my mortal eye can see. I truly miss their company and pray that they are well. Their voices still echo in my memory like some distant mournful bell. Perhaps we shall meet again in that place where all trails end. In that place where we all come together at life's end. Until I reach the golden place I continue walking my way. In search of that home where I may forever stay. The path grows dark and the end is near. I've found that home there is nothing to fear. For an end is a beginning and a beginning is an end. And we lonely shepherds with infinity to tend. I hope you all enjoyed it. It is always fun sharing with a group of such wonderful people. Good night everyone. - Jim Cady - jbc003@hotmail.com ICQ# 16614899 Jim Cady Honorable Member of the Pride Keepers "One thing nothing can destroy, is our pride deep inside we are one!"
