She Waits She waits Silent Ears perked Tail still Eyes wide And filled With hopelessness She waits Where is he? The prevailing thought Plauging her mind He comes every night... Why not this one? So many unanswered questions She waits She sighs Slumping to the ground Ears folding back Eyes closing Tail curling around her Hopelessness overtaking her She waits...
