Since school is out and I've been staying up late Mucking and writing I've come up with some works like my Leavin' the TLK List parody and here's another late night work. I know we've had an overload of poetry lately.....but I don't post often and I don't want to stay a lurker. So here it is.....my second original work (Please comment! Good or Bad) A Day Of Remembrance Thunder splits the sky, Blood turns the Savannah red. Drums call everyone to war, Peace to my Pride has fled. We march to the drums of light, Our foes faces are unshown. The dark lurks to a different beat, In rhythm with rattles of bone. The tension heightens as we cross the line of similar difference in good... and evil, I gasp in fear. as Death shows His ebony hood. War rages behind, beside, in front. Against foes unseen. the din of lightning seems to ban, All hopes of peace, I fall, helpless into Fear's hand. I am now one with fear, Tearing flesh, Breaking bone. The clouds darken more. I hear Humanity herself moan..... Yes, I remember back then When darkness tried to conquer us. But Aiheu took Evil in his hands, Death himself felt the crush. Never forget that light will reign, As long as good prevails. Keep Love in our hearts and Evil will only see, Life's fighting Teeth and Claws. Before you post anything....Don't kill me!
