I wanted to create another tlk-related poem at first, but then I realized that tlk is a combination of many art forms, and I came up with the idea of combining a poem with visual descriptions. You may think that this detracts from the poem, and I tried to keep the descriptions concise yet meaningful, but I hope you enjoy it! I seem to be better at creating poems than some other art, so I have decided to keep doing it, and I would like to know if you think that the visual descriptions add to or detract from this poem. When you read this for the first time, please only read it at dawn! Dawn in the Pridelands _____________________________________ (fade in) The red circle rises once more slowly it emerges, bringing anew the weary (A red sun beams forth, reflecting off the savanna) no language need be known no achievement need be done to breathe in deep this gift Warm are the hearts that receive it, warm are the bodies that need it, (the sunlight slowly covers Pride Rock, shining forth onto Simba's Pride) level is the living field Awaken Pridelands, let thee be worthy, (adult Simba awakens, and walks slowly to the Promontory) stand to attention and take your place, may your day be filled with hope from your home, because today is another chance, to make it a better place may you be this moment, the spirit of nature we recognize, (the view pans around, you see the reflection of the sun in Simba's eyes) so your roar will be heard, and at one you'll be with your pride (the view pans quickly above and away from Simba, you hear a roar that echos several times, each time softer than the next) (fade out) TLK..."An enchanted moment, and it sees me through!" ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
