Tack så mycket
(that should be Swedish for "Thank you very much," but if it's not, feel free to laugh at me!)  Mr. Odell for answering all my obnoxious questions about this video. ;D He assured me that, "No real wood was harmed during the shooting." (That part where Plank's out on the park bench is so depressing that I just had to know!) He also said that that most of the creepy people in the background are family and friends of the FilmTecknarna staff.

My Best Friend Plank
Lyrics Written by Steve Patrick (?)

I'm never bored when I'm with you.
We're pals, we're buddies through and through.
I wish I knew what to buy for you
On your birthday.

Our friendship goes against the grain.
I've seen you swell up in the rain.
I saw you - didn't see your pain;
Was it termites?

It's never hard to talk to you,
Though you stump me with your silence.
I feel so naughty pining here
For your happy face's guidance.

My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank

Sitting there so silently,
What could you be thinking?
You're not saying; I won't axe*
Is that sealant that you're drinking?

Man, you're hammered! Nailed you, pal!
Al Gore's wife's name is "Tipper."
I knew that we'd be best friends for life
When I saved you from that chipper.

My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank

Ooo, Plank,
Count the rings, count the rings!
Ooo, Plank,
Count the rings, count the rings!

I'd walk you on the seven seas
But sawdust always makes me wheeze.
I met your mom and dad the trees
But please don't get Dutch elm disease!

My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank
My best friend Plank
You're my best friend, Plank!

NOTE: I have gotten far too many e-mails saying that my lyrics are wrong in some places. As I said in the note the link above leads to, I don't have the official lyrics. What I have is simply a transcription based on what I hear. I think they're accurate. I'm sorry if you don't agree with what I have, but PLEASE do not send me any "corrections." Since what you hear is official either, why should I take your version over mine?

Make like a tree and leaf!
This part makes me cry!
Waaa!
He looks like he needs a push
He can fly! He can fly!
What *is* he thinking?
He's clearly planning to take over the world...
Peek-a-boo!
I just hope he doesn't get too close to the fire...
Yeah, he's quite the looker
Swimmin' with the fishes
Up, up, and away!
It's a bird. No, it's a plane. Wait...it's PLANK!
Plank is here, there, and everywhere!
Aww...he's so beautiful!
Dendrochronology is *fun!*
Lions and tigers and PLANKS, oh my!
My best friend Plank
