Sept. 26, 2006 (Tuesday):
The fanfic and fan art sections are temporarily closed for new submissions while I work on moving the site. Feel free to send stuff for Arbor Day, though. Never Ending Arbor Day!

Looks like my gallery was hacked. At any rate, it's fixed and back online now. Sorry if it was down for a while. :/

No, I haven't died. I'm trying to streamline the site some and I'll probably move it. In the mean time, Arbor Day 2006 guidelines are up. I hope people actually enter stuff this time. :/

There has been a flamewar going on in my guestbook that has nothing to do with this site. I finally removed the posts related to it and I'm asking everyone involved to STOP IT! I will remove the guestbook if it continues, but really don't want to because the thought about getting e-mails about that stuff really bugs me. I JUST WANT IT TO STOP!

-Well, I'm still thinking about implementing a new fanfic management system, for the time being, I've changed the submission rules. I no longer accept most stories sent in the body of e-mails. If you've sent something and I don't have it up, please resubmit it as I've requested. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the formatting stuff has really been driving me crazy.

-The Guest LOG has been cleared for reasons unknown. I've taken it down for now because I've decided to try a new script. I'm to lazy to change all my links, so clicking on "Guest LOG" will just go to a blank page for now. :P
-I reset my counter because I noticed I didn't seem to have it dated. So, now there's a date. ;)

-National Arbor Day was last Friday, so it's too late to submitt stuff for this year's exhibit
-I added a note to the bottom of my transcription of "My Best Friend Plank" that I hope will actually be read.  I am tired of people e-mailing me and saying that my transcription is wrong. If I used every single "correction" that was sent to me, that wouldn't be good enough, either.


April 21, 2003 (Monday):
The National Arbor Day exhibit is open!  However, there's not a lot of stuff. So...if you want to contribute, that's fine. It would make Plank happy. And you get a nice blinkie I designed for the occasion.

To make things look a little smoother,  the "actual" address of this site (as opposed to the redirection) is now hekima.lionking.org/plank/. The longer http://www.lionking.org/~hekima/plank/ still works, though,  but it's...well...longer. ;)

-THE FIRST CHURCH OF PLANK HAS REACHED OVER 2000 HITS!!! YEAH!!!
-Fixed some bugs
-Originally, I wasn't planning on implimenting my new menu system right away because I thought I wouldn't have time to do all the coding. But, thanks to a winter storm, I haven't been able to go anywhere, thus I've had way too much time on my hands. :P I've gotten the menu system up and I think I've worked out all the kinks. At the moment, individual fanfic and fan art pages don't have the menu on them, but I put them on the same style sheet as the rest of the site since it's easier to read text on than my previous background.
Note that it's javascript based but I am still using text links for those of you who have javascript off or whatever. On older browsers, it will display as a table at the bottom of the site. For the specifics, look at this site.
-The new layout doesn't seem to like my counter ;p I'm trying to fix it

-I'm testing a new menu system that I plan on eventually plan on using for this site, but I want some opinions before I put it all over the site, I want to know what people think.

I actually probably won't impliment it on individual fanfic and fan art pages, but that's just the file I opened to put the code on for the test version. ;)

To make life easier for me, the multi-chaptered now have cgi dropdown menus at the bottom for navigation. They should work. If there are problems, let me know. The avatar and icon sections will have the same thing, too, but I'm too sleepy to do it now. (yawns) Fixing the fanfics like that was my first priority, anyway.

-Just caught on to the fact that my January stuff was marked 2002. Gah, I'm slow!
-Well, I fastwarded through my Plank tape today, and while I will be adding some more stuff from it, I was a bit disappointed of how little Plankyness I had captured. See, when I started out, I was actually recording just interesting Plank stuff. But, when the 6:00 time was added, I left my VCR on and just recorded entire episodes because I was usually eating supper then. And I'd sometimes forget to turn off the VCR, meaning I'd end up taping stuff I've never watched, too. Eeee! Well, I'll try again because there's all kinds of stuff I don't have yet.

I know...I went over a month without updating. I got caught up in my classes 'n stuff. :P Well, there will be more stuff soon. I know it's not much, but I added s'more info to the "My Best Friend Plank" section. I've got to go through my Plank tape and make more avatars and icons, so stay tuned for that.

Again, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been a bit busy with school and...stuff. But Plank is always in my mind, whether I like it or not. ;D
-I added to a fanfic the other day. Whew.
-I just thought I'd mention that the has.it database has been acting up, so you might have problems with the plank.knows.it address. Using the real address isn't such a problem any more since I've pretty much decided that I'm not going to find a decent host that I can afford with my income of $0, so I'm planning on putting the site I wanted this one ot be a part of right here as well.

-Since cjb.net has added advertising to their redirection service, the new redirection address is www.plank.knows.it. Catchy, yes? ;D And so true.
-Kit, of The Ed, Edd, n Eddy Zone, will be visiting the AKA Cartoon Studios in Vancouver. If she has the chance, she'll ask what kind of wood Plank is made of. Vital information, no?
