Mr. Matrix drags Dot off to the Principal Office. He is STEAMED. He complains to Phong that Dot will not consent to marry Megabyte as he wants her to because Dot likes Bob better. (Hmph.) Phong gives her a choice: either marry Megabyte or be deleted. Decide in 4 days, lady. Dot gets scared. Bob comforts her by hatching a plan: forget them all--meet tomorrow night on Level 31, run off to the Supercomputer, and get married. Then Emi, one of Dot's best friends, shows up. Dot confides her and Bob's plan in Emi, then leaves. She and Bob go their separate ways....for now. Emi, however, is head-over-heels for Megabyte and figures, *Hey, if I tell this guy his worst enemy and his girlfriend are splitting tomorrow night to go elope, maybe he'll thank me and start noticing I exist!* She decides to go tell Megabyte of Dot and Bob's plan.

Enzo, GB, Symble, Cecil, Captain Quirk, and Nibbles (their guinea pig) are discussing a plan to reincarnate Nulls. They decide to meet on Level 31 the night of the next day.

Darius and Hexadecimal, formerly lovers, are fighting. Emi broke her link to the Userworld and came to live in Mainframe, but even though she is old enough to take care of herself, Hexadecimal is her rightful....um, caretaker. Darius wants the User girl, and Hex won't let him have her. Utterly disgusted with her love's selfishness, Hex storms away. Darius gets mad, but then develops a plan. He calls Andraia, his Game sprite attendant, to his side and tells her to fetch him the "love bug," a bit of code that, when entered into a sprite, binome, or virus's programming (all you have to do is place it on their eyelids while they're sleeping) makes them fall madly in love with whatever creature they next see. Darius plans to make Hex fall in love with something vile and, when she's really preoccupied with her love, he'll ask her for the User girl and she'll give her up. Wahooey. Andraia runs off to get the "love bug." Meanwhile, Emi is chasing Megabyte around. Megabyte tells her to get off his case, he hates her guts. She protests, "I love you, I love you, and the more you hate me I will love you." They run off. Darius hears this and decides to make Megabyte fall in love with Emi. He sends Andraia out to put the love bug on the eyes of Megabyte and goes off to find Hex.

Hex goes to sleep, and Darius puts the love bug on her eyes. Meanwhile, Bob comes in with Dot, and they're dog-tired so they go to sleep. Unfortunately, they lie far apart from each other, which makes them look like they hate each other. Andraia comes in with the bug and sees them. But, oh dear, the only thing she can remember from Darius's description of Megabyte is "he's blue." She puts the love bug on Bob's eyes instead. Emi comes in, looking for Megabyte, and sees Bob. She decides to ask him if he's seen Megabyte and makes the mistake of waking him. Bob wakes up, sees Emi, and BANG! she is, to him, the most beautiful girl in the sector and his one true love. Emi is horrified. She thinks Bob is making fun of her and runs away. Bob pursues, leaving Dot, whom he now doesn't love anymore, alone. Dot wakes up, victim of a bad dream, and finds Bob gone. Oh, dear. She runs off, afraid he's dead, desperate to find him.

The geniuses meet on Level 31. They begin to test their plan, but an accident causes something to blow up. Everyone but Symble runs away screaming. Symble is left alone and he starts to freak. He backs up and steps on Hex, who wakes up. Whoops. The "angel that woke her from her flowery bed" (well, not too flowery) apologizes profusely, but then finds out she's in love with him and starts to freak all over again. Hex gives Symble Null attendants to wait on him and takes him to her lair in Lost Angles. Meanwhile, Darius learns from Andraia what happened. He knows Symble is not the vile denizen of Level 31 he expected, but decides he'll do for now. Hex's reaction is amusing enough. Megabyte is chasing Dot. Dot thinks Megabyte has erased Bob. Megabyte hates Bob, but he would never kill him, and he tells Dot so, along with saying that he loves her. Darius, having overheard this, slaps his forehead in aggravation and basically shouts at Andraia, "YOU BUMBLING IDIOT!!!! Oh, you fool! You've gone and put the bug on the eyes of the WRONG GUY! He was already in love and now his girlfriend's upset and there's gonna be a big fight....Oh, just get the other girl and bring her here." Andraia does so. Megabyte goes to sleep after Dot runs away and Darius puts the love bug on his eyes.

"Let's get ready to RUUUUMMMMMMBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!!!" Literally. Everyone is in total confusion. Emi storms in, Bob pursuing her like a lovesick puppy. She doesn't notice Megabyte sleeping, even when she stops right in front of him. Emi is fighting with Bob, now finding herself in the same situation Megabyte had only a few micros earlier. She stomps her foot--and that wakes up Megabyte, who promptly falls in love with Emi. She screams in frustration, thinking Bob and Megabyte are mocking her. She rambles on and on about his until Dot shows up. Bob and Megabyte no longer love her, which makes the situation worse. Dot is horribly confused, but Emi thinks Dot is putting on an act and sent Bob and Megabyte to make fun of her. More arguing and even an attempt by Dot to scratch out Emi's eyes follow. Bob and Megabyte eventually leave to fight over Emi, who tries to make up with Dot. Andraia uses a file-hiding device to keep Bob and Megabyte from seeing where each is during the fight, thus preventing them from hurting each other. Finally each gives up and goes to sleep. Emi shows up and goes to sleep too. At last, Dot comes in and falls asleep as well.

Hex is making a total fool of herself with her utter devotion to Symble, who obviously doesn't like her any. Finally Symble gets tired and goes to sleep. Hex does also. Darius comes in to gloat, but finds he is, in a sick, twisted sense, beginning to pity Hex (well, sort of). He puts the love bug antidote on her eyes and wakes her up. She is surprised to find herself lying beside Symble; her one love is Darius. Now that Darius has Emidecimal, all is well and he and Hex are in love once more. They leave. In comes Phong and Mr. Matrix, looking for the four lovers. They find them, and the four wake up. Bob explains what he and Dot were doing on Level 31, and Mr. Matrix orders Phong to delete him. No such luck, as it turns out, Megabyte has decided he doesn't like Dot anymore, but Emi, on the other hand, now she's cute...Phong decides to let them all get married to whom they want to marry.

Symble returns, and the geniuses try out their plan. It works, and they head for the Principal Office to show it off.

The geniuses show Phong their plan. Everyone goes nuts--never again will they have to worry about losing Games. Hex and Darius (not married) show up and congratulate everyone. All is well once again.
