December 29 - Replaced "The Lion King: Silver Star Story" by Tigura in the Fan Fiction section for the full version. Plus added another piece of fan art by Dave.

December 20 - Added "A New Hope" by Jamie Saltkill to the Fan fiction section. Also added two new pictures by Dave to the Fan Art section.

December 8 - Added "A Voice of Hope Calling" by Ashley Poteete to the Fan fiction section.

December 7 - Added a very nice Windows startup screen created by Stephen Hoo to the Electronica section.

December 6 - Added "Kovu and Kiara's Jungle Kingdom" by Siyana to the Fan Fiction section.

December 4 - Added Akida's Award of Excellence to the Awards section.

December 3 - The Grinch took over the site today. Thanks to Kristin Cheddar for the idea.

December 1 - Added a link to Stephen Hoo's site The.Lionking.org. Stephen has helped me with a lot of things including programming me the super cool guestbook at this site.

November 30 - Added a drawing of Zira by new artist ShalieT to the Fan Art section. Switched the parachat in the Chat Room over to the general TLK one started by Havaska so that (hopefully) there can be one Lion King chat room accessed from many different sites.

Added three fan art pictures by new artist Queen Zira.

November 28 - Joined the Disney Princess Webring and The Magic of Disney Webring. Deleted the now defunct Disney Webring. Did a whole lot of cleaning up and fixing up in the Web Ring section as well as elsewhere around the site.

November 27 - Added two pieces of fan art by long-time contributor Sabean. Not for the faint-hearted!

November 26 - Added seven nice pieces of fan art by Malli.

November 25 - Added a new slider puzzle created by Silka to the Games section. It is very professionally done and looks like something that came from Disney.com.

November 20 - Added links to Silka's Page of Downloads and Vitani's Heaven.

November 15 - Added three fan art pictures by Lisa Ferret. Added an image of a Kovu Eraser Keyring to the Keychains subsection of the main merchandise section.

November 13 - Added scans from the "Kiara's Colors" book to the Images section.

November 10 - Added a Power Guide for "The Lion King: Silver Star Story" in the Fan Fiction section. Got a nifty new guestbook too from Stephen Hoo, who runs http://the.lionking.org. It was programmed just the way I like it. Also, this site can now be reached through http://www.simbaspride.net. Working on lots of other things too. I wonder if Snowmiser will be taking over this Christmastime again?

October 29 - Added two nice pieces of fan art by Dave. Hopefully I will get time soon to add all the other fan art I've been sent. Also, the site recently reached the 100,000 visitor mark.

October 11 - Added "Suruni's Lost Trust" and "The Journey of Nala" by Malli to the Fan Fiction section.

September 26 - Added three new images to the Promos subsection of the main Images section. Then I added a whole new page of 15 more promotional images that come from various sources. Some of these pictures are very cool.

September 22 - Added The Lion King: Silver Star Story-The Lion Orb Saga (Eps. 1-3) by Tigura to the Fan Fiction section.

September 19 - Added a link to PDIS TLK.

September 18 - Added three nice pictures by Suzanne Prestwood to the Fan Art section.

September 15 - Added The Lion King: Silver Star Story by Tigura to the Fan Fiction section.

September 8 - Added three fan art pics by Sabean. Also added a new Notepads subsection to the main merchandise section. I never, ever thought there would be this much Simba's Pride-related merchandise but I still have dozens of more pics to add.

September 6 - Added a new fan art pic by Dave. I have also been uploading lots of files and trying desperately to get caught up with a whole bunch of different things throughout the site after the lionking.org outage.

September 1 - Lionking.org came back up today after being down for about 55 days. As soon as it came back up I uploaded a new Flash animation to the splash page at http://www.lionking.org/~kiara. Also, now that the server is back up I will be able to start working on a lot of different things around the site again.

July 19 - Did some updating in the Links section including changing the old link to Sequelo's Savannah to now link to Planet Lion King, and adding a link to DisneyWire. It's going to be really nice when lionking.org finally comes back up.

July 14 - Believe it or not I am still updating the site but it is hard when the lionnking.org server has been down for so long. Anyways, today I did quite a bit of updating in the Family Tree including adding an official picture of Ahadi scanned for me by White Kiara, mentioning Uru, who I just found out about and giving the official source for each character.

June 28 - Added a new person to the Friends section. Added "The Lion King 3: Ungua's Destiny" and "The Lion King 4: Tyg/Ativ's Legacy" by Kristen Josserand and "The Cheetah King: Part 5" by Miles Cheetah to the Fan Fiction section. Revamped the Scripts & Text Files section. It has less graphics now but is better organized and loads faster. It also has a few new links.

June 26 - Added a new fan art page since the other one got full. The new page also has a link to the Fan Art Discussion Forum.

June 22 - Added The Lion King 4: Scar Lives In You by Miwalk to the Fan Fiction section.

June 20 - Added a picture of Pride Rock by Dave to the Fan Art section and changed his black and white Royal Air Force picture to a color one (the thumbnail is still black and white though). Added The Cheetah King: Part 4 by Miles Cheetah to the Fan Fiction section.

June 14 - Added The Lion King 4 by Ashley Poteete to the Fan Fiction section.

May 23 - Finally added the hyena madlib to the Games section.

May 11 - Added "Kiara's Discovery, Part 5" by Abmis1 to the Fan Fiction section. Switched over to the new ezboard Discussion Forum today.

May 10 - Added "An El Dorado Rescue" by Abmis1 to the Fan Fiction section.

May 8 - Added a page of promotional images to the Images section. It contains pics of Kiara from lots of different sources. Added four nice pieces of fan art by Sabean to the Fan Art section.

May 5 - Added "The Rogue, Part 5" by Abmis1 to the Fan Fiction section.

May 4 - Added an Internet Movie Database search engine to the Search section and removed the reel.com one because it had some problems. Also switched back over to the African look on the front page and added a brand new Flash animation.

May 1 - Added "The Prideland Legacy, Part 4" and "Shattered Pride, Part 5" to the Fan Fiction section.

April 28 - Added "The Rogue, Part 4" by Abmis1, "Shattered Pride, Part 4" by RedStar, and "Return from the Past" by Malli to the Fan Fiction section. Have also been getting a really nice Flash animation ready for the site.

April 26 - Added "Cheetahs in the Pridelands" by Miles Cheetah to the fan fic section. Added a link to a World Time Zones page to the Chat Room section. Have been doing some other work around the site so that it will be easier to use in a no-frames option and trying to get it ready for a flood of information on The Lion King 3 which has just been confirmed for release.

April 25 - Added "The Rising Sun: Prologue and Chapter 1" by Abmis 1 to the Fan Fiction section.

April 24 - The site got added to the Web Ring for Disney Movies today.

April 20 - Added two fan fics: "The Rogue, Part 3" by Jada and part 3 of "The Lion King III: Shattered Pride" by RedStar. Added scans of the Simba's Pride Little Golden Book to the Images section.

April 18 - Added "What Happened to Sarabi?" by Malli to the Fan Fiction section. Added three fan art pics, two by LisaFerret, and one by Clement Marin.

April 13 - Added "The Rogue, Part 2" by Jada and "Kovu's Father" by Malli to the Fan Fiction section.

April 10 - Revamped the layout of the Sounds section a little. There might even be a couple new sounds there. Added "A Brotherly Bond, Part 2" and "The Fate of Scar" by Malli to the Fan Fiction section. Also added parts 2 and 3 of "The Lion King III: The Prideland Legacy" by Jada. Also added the first two parts of "The Lion King III: Shattered Pride" by RedStar.

April 6 - Added a fan fic by Abmis 1 called "Kovu's Quest."

April 4 - Added a fan fic by Kimberley called "Mufasa's Ghost."

April 3 - Added a fan fiction story by Abmis1 called "The Rogue, Part 1: Prince Majaka." - Added a Chameleon Count game to the Games section and fixed up a bunch of other stuff in that section.

April 2 - Added two new pics by fan artist Abmis1. These pictures actually go along with a story of hers that will be appearing soon.

March 31 - Added three pics by new fan artist LisaFerret.

March 30 - Big fan fiction update. Added "Kiara's Discovery, Part 4" by Abmis1 to the Fan Fiction section. This story isn't listed near the bottom of the page like most recent additions are. The link to it is near the top, so don't miss it. Also, added some submission guidelines so that people will know what to do to make things way easier on me and to get their stories up even faster than before. Also added links to two other sites with Lion King fan fiction.

March 29 - Added fan fiction by Kacie and Malli. You may think all I'm doing is adding fan art and fan fiction but there is other stuff on the way too.

March 27 - Added fan fiction by JessKat and Malli.

March 26 - Added fan art by Jill Young and RedStar. If anyone has fan art that they have sent me and I haven't put up yet, please e-mail me to remind me.

March 22 - Added "A Brotherly Bond, Part 1" and "Minus' Next of Kin" to the Fan Fiction section.

March 14 - Added a link to Duma's Sacred Circle, an early fan fiction site. Added two pieces of fan art, one by KovuNL and the other by Jill Young. Might have to separate Fan Art section into more than one page because it is starting to get kind of big. Added a new person to the e-mail listings in the Friends section. Added a picture of some fuzzy Kiara stickers to the Stickers subsection of the main merchandise section.

March 7 - Added a link to Stamps' TLK/SP pages. There is some very good original material here including stuff comparing TLK and SP to Shakespeare plays, an article all about Timon's hula, what happens when The Lion King is translated into Japanese, and more. Added pictures of a Simba's Pride wall clock and a magic slate to the merchandise section.

March 1 - Added a new madlib to the Games section. It is centered around Timon and Pumbaa and was written by me and Malli. Did some fixing up and updating in the Interactive Storybook.

February 29 - Added "The Lion King III: Part 2" by Miwalk to the Fan Fiction section and fixed a link there. Put up a new award given to this site by Lion Star, a German site dedicated to The Lion King and Star Wars.

February 28 - Added two fan art pieces by Jill Young.

February 27 - Added a new fan fiction story by Ashley Poteete.

February 23 - Added a page of scans from the Come Out and Play book to the Images section.

February 21 - Added a fan fiction story by Kirstie called "The Lion King 3: Kiara's Journey." Fixed up a bunch of other stuff around the site.

February 19 - Added a fan art piece by Jada. Added a picture of a Kiara and Kovu bib to the Assorted Clothing subsection of the main merchandise section. Added a link to The Lion King Collection Page which has the biggest listing of TLK/SP merchandise I have ever seen.

February 18 - Added a picture of Kiara and Kovu mugs to the main merchandise section. It was sent to me by Kristin Cheddar.

February 16 - Added a fan art piece by Abmis 1 and did a ton of work elsewhere on the site. Might be doing a major revamping on the look of the front page.

February 13 - Added a fan art piece by Jill Young.

February 9 - Added a very good fanfic by Cheetahlover called "Who is My Father?"

February 7 - Added an all-new Postcard section which now has original postcards as well as links to other TLK/SP postcard pages.

February 6 - Added the first page of Simba's Pride images to the Image Vault.

February 5 - Added the Kiara Animated Christmas Display Figure to the Christmas subsection of the main merchandise section. Added another Kiara outfit to the Clothing subsection which will probably need to be broken down into even more smaller pages since it is getting so big.

January 31 - Added two sheet music links to and did some fixing up in the Order subsection of the main merchandise section. Did a bunch of other work around the site getting future sections ready to appear. Of course that's what I do every day anyways.

January 26 - Added a "Family Photo" of wolves drawn by Jada to the Fan Art section.

January 21 - Completely updated and revised the Lyrics section. Each song has its own page now with a picture at the top and some of the lyrics have been corrected. These are the six songs from Simba's Pride and songs from the original Lion King and others may come later.

January 20 - Added a nice piece of fan art by Jada. Added the Prideland Adventure Set to the Figurine subsection of the main merchandise section.

January 17 - Added two fan art pieces. One is a very good panther picture by Ambis1 and then a picture that I had for a long time but forgot about that was drawn by Dave. Added two fan fictions as well, "The Good Heart" by Eben Prentzler and "The Lion King III: Kovu's Sons" by Miwalk.

January 12 - Added scans from the third Simba's Pride Activity Book to the Images section. I guess I'm doing it out of order but the other three activity books will eventually be added.

January 10 - Added new Kiara Wallpaper by Tiger to the Electronica section. Check it out!

January 9 - Added Kiara's Discovery Part 3 by Abmis 1 to the Fan Fiction section.

January 7 - Added three fan art pics by Eben Prentzler.

January 5 - Added a picture of Kiara sandals to the Shoes subsection of the clothing subsection of the main merchandise section.

January 4 - Added a Table of Contents to the new Images section and added the first page of images from The Lion King. Added a fan art pic sent to me by Jada.

January 1 - Despite the joke I put on the front page about this site being damaged by the Y2K computer bug everything seems to be running fine. Happy New Year, Decade, Century, and Millenium to everyone. Added a new image to the My Size Puzzles subsection of the main merchandise section. It was sent to me by Kristin Cheddar. Added two new fan art pics by Kicheko.
