In May of 1996 the federal government in Canada passed bill C-33. This bill prohibits firing of men and women based on sexual orientation. The passing of this bill, and a subsequent article in the Imprint caused a flourish of letter to come into the editor. These letters came in from both pro-GLB (gay, lesbian, bisexual) and anti-GLB factions. Compiled here is the progression of how this simple article sparked off a five months letter writing 'campaing' to the school paper...

For those reading, I have marked the letters for easy identification:
P: Pro-gay
A: Anti-gay
Q: General information

Without further ado.. From the University of Waterloo's school newspaper
The Imprint
