Bear with me, I'm always working on this thing... Been sucked into the net by friends, so I finally gave into the peer pressure -- after long months of procrastination, as is my trademark =) -- and marked off my own plot on the Web... thus becoming part of the addiction that's consumed many of us... ;)

In case you're wondering what I look like, here's one of the newest (and a halfway decent one, too!) -- this is me and my cousing Joanne's dog Hershey, taken when I went to Chicago in June, 1996... one of the growing number of pics with me with my hair short (finally... it's been a year since I cut it this length :) ).

Well, my name isn't Lynxcat (wouldn't it be cool if it was though? But no, my parents HAD to be boring...) unless you find me on channel #LionKing on IRC... so let me introduce myself. My name is Jessica Ann Maria (yeah, I had to throw the Confirmation name in too) Gustafik, and I'm a 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Florida (GO GATORS!!!), studying telecommunications -- you know, that little default major you take when you know you like journalism but don't quite know what to do about it. =) Actually, it's the direction I've been heading in since day one of my college life, and will most likely stay that way... production really interests me. At this point, if I were writing a letter, I'd describe myself, but the picture above does a decent (and I emphasize that "decent" =) ) job of it, so...

DA BULLS -- NBA World Champions!!!

Yeah, this one BELONGS on my main page! Being a Bull fan since birth (sweet home Chicago!), watching the running of da Bulls in 1996 was the sweetest thing since I saw them win their third in a row! And they trampled the competition -- doing what NO team in the history of the NBA has done before: getting 70 wins! Yes, they DO rule! I watched them tear through the playoffs... sending Miami packing with a three-and-out (uhhh... where's my broom? :} ), and then New York, only losing one, and then (can we say sweep?) Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals (Bulls RULE, Magic DROOL!), and then lastly the Seattle Sonics in the NBA Finals, putting the Larry O'Brien Trophy back in the hands of the city and team it BELONGS in... and we began the new season once again NBA World Champions! Sorry, guys... we're talking unstoppaBull, incrediBull and bit of unbelievaBull... =)

Okay, Gator lovers, check this one out: I was at the UF-FSU game a year ago, and I brought my camera -- and this is a pic of the final score, taken just after the clock wound down... no doubt about it; proof positive that the Gators RULE!!! Hey, Bobby, yeah, I know we lost to you on the 30th, but guess what... with that 52-20 WHOMPING we gave you guys in the Sugar Bowl, we are now the NATIONAL CHAMPS!! (aside thanks to Nebraska for so kindly losing to Texas and Ohio State for that last-minute drive :) )

Life in an animation world... =)

As any one of my friends and family can tell you, I'm crazy about animation. My dream is to someday animate or work for Don Bluth or Disney...
