Nalina was an abandoned cub, along with her brother Tenzu. A kind panther by the name of Amani, and his mate, Kilonda, took them in and treated them as their own. They had many adopted brothers (though very few sisters) of different ages and species and for the most part lived a happy cubhood. Although had almost the constant concerns of a clan of hyenas and other species which was led be their Uncle's mate, Achika which was called The Blood Claws.

Several members had twice attacked their older brother, Kasia. One then attacked Nalina, leaving her scared, and traumatized.

With loving care from her family, particularly her brother, Tenzu, she recovered fully though had scars for most of her young life. Though faded away once she had finished growing.

Cubhood passed all too quickly, and she was soon an adolescent, ready to set out and do her own thing, with her brother of course. Growing less and less content with their way of life they decided to go in search of a pride, and found one. Leeuw's Pride.

Amani, however, was less then pleased at this idea, wanting to keep his family close, but they left anyways and joined the pride.

Though often felt rather like outsiders at the start, slowly life in the pride became plesant although lonely.

Nalina then met Keenath. They quickly hit it off, though being together was a difficult matter. Then, suddenly, Leeuw passed away, leaving the pride in turmoil. So she, Keenath and Tenzu left and lived outside Leeuw's lands.

All was well for a time, but Nalina soon grew unhappy as her relationship with Keenath began to fall appart. Finally, they went their seperate ways.

Around that time, Nalina found a young panthress cub, by the name of Kijana. She quickly became attached to the cub and took her in, as her own. When She and Keenath split up, she left going back to Leeuw's pride.

Saddly, without Leeuw, the pride had split appart. Leaving Mwangalizi, Leeuw's son (though in fact his younger brother), with deserted lands and the few remaining souls of the pride.

Mwangalizi welcomed Nalina and Kijana with open paws, and she quickly adjusted to her new life. A few moons later, Mwanga and Nalina had fallen in love, and became mates, and began their rule over the lands. Tenzu, however, decided it was time he left. Where he went, she doesn't know. Though he promised he'd come back one day. Nalina still waits for him to come back, this very day.

They soon adopted another cub. A leopard cub, by the name of Maombi. Life was happy.

Kijana and Maombi quickly grew becoming adolescents, and at home less and less. Meanwhile, Mwanga's past was starting to catch up with him. His father had been a cruel king, and his pride lived in fear of him. Mwanga had run away as a cub to join his older brother, Leeuw, who had left sometime earlier. Mwanga felt guilty, however, of leaving, and having not tried to stay or go back to help the pride.

Finally Mwanga and Nalina's cousin, Mkoko (who had left his adopted parents to live and become adopted by Leeuw), left to challenge Mwanga's father. Many moons later, her mate returned, a sad lion. Baddly hurt, Nalina soon nursed him back to health, but it took many moons before Mwanga recovered from his experience. Mkoko returned as well. Though had been baddly hurt and had lost his memory. Mkoko's family and pride soon split appart as well. To this day, Nalina doesn't know what became of his cubs.

Mwangalizi had been able to take over the pride, but the lionesses split appart deciding to leave the lands. For a time, Mwanga thought they would go back to the lands and start a new pride, but leaving their home was a hard thing to do and the idea became forgotten.

Mwangalizi's mother, Maji'Utendi, followed Mwanga back to their lands, and settled down with them in their small pride.

Maombi and Kijana had pretty much left home, now adults, they had fallen in love and Nalina and Mwanga hoped would become mates. But that didn't happen. Kijana came home, alone. Maombi presumably left on his own, where he is, or if he is alive remains a mystery.

Not long ago, another lioness from Mwanga's father's pride came and joined their pride. Kayoro, a good friend of Maji's had decided living as a rogue was no fun, thus came to search out Mwangalizi. Who she did indeed find, and is a lively part of the pride.

And here Nalina's story ends ... for now. With still many more years ahead of her, her story is not half over.

This is by far not a complete part of her story, but barely a sysnopsis. Unfortuntly, much of her life wasn't logged and remains fragmented in her player's head.

There is also another Nalina. She led a much different life, having started as an adolescent on ATMuck. She's best known as the Wizard, though did have a IC life.

There her brother was Tenzu too. Though didn't grow up with him. Her pride was seperated as a cub, and somehow she managed to survive, and grow up alone as a nomad. She then found her brother and joined his family. She soon also met a young lion who became her mate. She became pregnant, and life looked good.

Untill OOC reasons, her IC life was put on hold for almost 2 years. Until recently however. :)

She then had her cubs, saddly only one survived. One she named Kaza. A male lion found her during birth and helped her by hunting and keeping her company. His name is Msikiaji. As a moon has passed, and they've grown a friendship and have started to become closer, a new lioness for this other incarnation of Nalina, has just begun.
