(Too bad if you don't like the colors)Nalacore History
21 gun salute to Nalacore
2-14-99
I send
a message to a respected Nala fan by the name of Bruce "Simba" Porterfield
expressing my discontent.
The night of 2-14-1999
I start
daydreaming about Nala while playing Sim City3000, and the idea of Nalacore
soon dawns on me.
2-15-1999
I go looking for tools on how to build a website.
2-16-1999
I start making the Nalacore website.
2-29-1998
I get Shield Maiden to join and co-found Nalacore.
3-2-1999
I feel very crushed by the less than warm responce to a quick, simple question.
Go to a very well respected web
maintainer asking for nothing but moral support.
3-3-1999
Michael Ponce', the very well respected web maintainer, gives me his moral
support. I'm feeling a bit better.
3-5-1999
Nala smiles upon us today. I ask Simba Canuso to join and also be a founder
of the site, and get a warm response. This site is for real now.
3-6-1999
Nala smiles upon us again (she must be in a good mood). I get a third party
host, none other than Brian Tiemann (then again, who else would it be).
3-10-1999
Having a bit of trouble with the technical junk, and I think my dumb questions
are annoying the maintainer of lionking.org.
3-12-1999
There are sea lions, mountain lions, and then there is the Web Lion (hope
he dosen't mind that pun:) and today he becomes our fourth founding memeber!
3-20-1999 (10:14 pm Central Standard Time)
The first page for Nalacore is published on the net as a new star is born
in the TLK internet community, I look forward to seeing the site develop.
I also ask Geir Kirksaether if he wants to be a founder.
