And I knew if there was a chance-- And if people took a glance, And maybe, they'd be happy for a while. In January began a glimmer with an e-mail I'd deliver. But I didn't want to upset-- I didn't want to overstep. After all, I had gone and cried When I saw Simba's father died. Some would claim I was touched-- deep inside The day I started to write. So Hi! Hi! Rindimo is I! 'Wrote a story, it's not too heavy; 'Wrote it light, but not too high. Just good ol' noise a little frisky and sly, Scribblin' "You're gonna laugh your head off 'til you die! You're gonna laugh your head off 'til you die..." Did you do that "Can You Feel the Love?" And do you have faith in in Aiheu above If the Chronicles tell you so? Do you believe in Minshasha and Mano? Can the FCOS save your mortal soul? And can you teach me how to pounce, and stay low? Well I know that you're in love with Scar-- 'Cause you bought every plushie of him so far. Much of the same debate ensues... Man, I am not going to share my views! I'm just a lonely teenage cheetah cat With some twisted humor, but I already knew that. Now for 8 months, I've been holding my own with Rafiki bonkin' his head with a big hard stone And Simba, who just can't wait to pee. Kiara doesn't want to be the queen Sir Scaralot was treated rather mean... And Zira is looking pretty hot, to me. And While the Steakhouse was becoming run down, The Raider of the Lost Bark was nowhere to be found. The end of the world was adjourned. A shooting star was burned. And while Alba was banned by the N.A.R.C.'s, Rafiki Karaoke caused us to hark. And "We Are Exxon" Topped the charts, The day, I started to write. I was scribblin': Hi! Hi! Rindimo is I! You're gonna laugh your head off 'til you die!" Helter Skelter in Pride Rock shelter El Nin~o was not at all the gentler. Bill Gates was thrown from a window and falling fast-- And landed with a pie to the face While Simba tried to get the Outlanders erased After a trip to that Nail Salon place. Now the Pridelands were coverred with smoke and fume When Oil was discoverred, and consumed. The car was going to Be Repaired But if not by tonight, no life will be spared! 'Cause the Circle of Wives' anger isn't concealed Though the Hornlander still won't yield. Do you recall what Sarafina revealed The day, I started to write? I started Scribbling: Hi! Hi! So come on, Rafiki be nimble, Rafiki be quick! Work for that cheetah, whack with that shtick 'Cause Alba is a shamaan's only friend. And as the Bionic Cat was in his cage, The detective clenched his fists of rage. No Junior Marine could tell That Hyena Joke too well. And as Lost & Found toiled with a plight To find the owner who owned the right-- I saw Scar Laughing with delight The day, I started to write. I was scribbling: Hi! Hi! Rindimo is I! "You're gonna laugh your head off 'til you die!" I still haven't met a girl to cure my blues Though I continue with my happy views As I smile and continue to go my own way. I watched Lion King more and more Though I've seen it, years before, But the merchandise is slowly waning away... And on the Mailing list, unsuscribers have screamed. Lovers have met; dreams have been dreamed, And many a comment's been spoken. Many a talent's been awoken. And the three people I admire the most-- Brian, the Daves, and others who post-- I enjoy you all, in you guys I boast, The day, I started to write... And I was scribbling: Hi! Hi! Rindimo is I! For those of you left in a daze, most of the material in that parody dealt with my own writings. Why did I do such a selfish thing? Read on, please. Well, now that I got that out of the way, guess what that was? Come on, guess! THAT was my 50TH STORY/POEM/SONG/PARODY POSTED TO THE LIST!! =) Heh heh.. I decided to keep track of it all... and to commemorate this amazing waste of time, I decided to annouce a very special webpage I have been working on for a while that started with a story entitled "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night." I posted a small portion of it to the list before I realized it was going to get this big. =) The story isn't too good, IMO, but the illustrations should be okay. This will be a test run... considerring I don't know how it will work on all the browsers out there. If nothing works, please tell me. I was laughing so hard sometimes, when I read posts that talked about "What would make a good webpage" or, "Stuff just isn't cranked out as often on the list as it used too," or "No one just doesn't do a good job anymore". PBAH! You wouldn't believe how hard it was to keep my tongue silent. ;) Sorry for the rambling...
