The Test of IMPENDIng Peril. By: The Perilous Parody Person Rindimo Cheetah. Zira gave a dastardly smile as she examined the lion standing at attention. Like a statue of perfection, she spent the years chipping away the needless bits of stone that clung to the masterpiece of her mind. "Yes..." She hissed between her grinning mandibles in the most ecstatic manner, "You ARE ready..." She chuckled in a tantayzing, girlish manner as if she were goading Scar to play with her from times past. Kovu continued to stare straight ahead at attention as Zira's eyes piercingly roved about his physique. "You have the same darkness Scar once had..." Her spine shuddered, and the fur raised on the back of her neck as she circled around Kovu for another time-- the sheer moment at hand was bringing such a joyous fire back into her soul as she continued to admire her perfect soldier. Just to heighten the sensation of her success, she toyed with Kovu one last time before sending him off on his mission. "WHO is... THE ENEMY?" "Simba is the enemy." Kovu mechanically explained. "WHAT... is your mission?" "I shall avenge Scar's Death, by killing Simba, and taking over the pridelands." The joy, and the expression on Zira's face forced a few onlookers to politely look away. Kovu maintained his stance, and composure reguardless. Zira, with her eyes going askew and googly, continued her final test before sending Kovu off to do his purpose in life: "WHAT... is your name?" "Kovu-- adopted son of scar-- of the Outlands." "WHAT... is your quest?" "I seek the homely Pridelands." "WHAT..." Zira panted, "IS YOUR FAVORITE _*/COLOR/*_?" Kovu looked away for a second-- lost in thought. "Um.... Red." "OKAY!" She gasped from the excitement, "Off you go!" And Kovu then walked over his fainted mother, and proceeded to Priderock... "THAT'S EASY!" Nuka shouted out a little while later... ;) The End.
