How to apply

for fun, click here for a list of stuff we instantly reject! :)
  1. Pick out your favorite three (3) pictures. These should be what you consider your best stuff.
  2. Be sure they're .jpgs of .gifs. Any other types will be trashed.
  3. Keep them below 200k. and keep the filename to 8 characters or we'll toss them out.
  4. FTP them to ftp.yerf.com and stick them in /incoming.
If you send pics to art-admin@yerf.com, they get mercilessly thrown out with much prejudice! hee hee.
  5. Fill out the application at the bottom of this page.
  6. Write one letter to art-admin@yerf.com, and tell us what pictures you uploaded, and give a small description for each one.
    Here's an example:

Hi! My name's ___ and these are the pictures I sent for my application:

    moop.jpg
At first I was going to send a rough sketch of this
But I realized a full color painting would be much better!!

    hoody.gif
The voices in my head tell me this
porcupine will show me the path to take.
It's the only thing that makes sense any more!

    yoog.jpg
This is a funny bear I painted with watercolors.
I think it has a nice background, don't you?

Be sure you apply with pictures you intend to have posted. If you're re-applying after being denied before, don't intend to post the pictures that were rejected the first time.

  7. Wait patiently.... i try to get all the apps taken care of on Weekends.
