The Lion King Segment
Forbidden Broadway

How am I gonna get a ticket
to the Lion King.

African bologna, but we won a lot of tony'
(sin descifrar) pinochio.

Our story its so bizarre
it's Hamlet gone safari
(sin descifrar)
Johnny Johnny Elton John.

You understand?

No? Rafiki translates:

Ukithe Ukithe Kuching
Ukite Ukite Kuching

From the day Lion King came to Broadway
the theather is not quite the same
oh! there is more to see
than has ever been seen
but the book, is childish and lame

(sin descifrar)
The visualsof great ones profound
and I either is next
and the metis perplexed
theme park shows, keep gettin drowned

It's the circle of mice
Disney's all around
and you pay the price
and you'll be spellbound

Puppet shows replace
what we used to call content
in the theather
?

Circle of M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E
mice.

And now, the real star of the Lion King
the director, Julie Taymor

Once Julie Taymor the stage director
animated puppets in a downtown theme
then Disney sent people to inspect her
"Could this girl direct the Lion King?"

Then Disney said "Ok Julie Taymor
show us how you make your puppets dance and sing"

[Julie] I'd go and sing?

And said Julie taymor!

[Julie] Here's how I directed Lion King

First I'd make a little lion
from a little bit of string
then I'd spend a million buyin'
until I made a Lion King (grrr)

I got the job and I started sewing
(voice) using more material than Kalvin Klein

I majorasqe (sin desifrar)
stupifying them with her designs

That's when I hired a cast of players
(voice) dressing them like dodo birds and antelopes
Some suffocating beneath their layers
(voice) other strangulating on their ropes

Oh please Julie can't I play a human?
oh please not a blade of grass
Oh please Julie when I'm dressed like Dumbo
I feel like a horse's ass.

Then Julie said you can play a lion
but you'll have to wear a mask upon your head
there's a stampede where you have to die in
and Mickey Mouse will eat you when you're dead

True this show's a little vapid
but we'll smooth it with cash
and the changes are so rapid
you won't know it's kitty trash

Happy are we you can get our tickets
and we got a tony before Ragtime 2
nobody cares when hyenas spicket
when a human plays a cangaroo

Julie Taymor saved the day
Yes I really saved the day
but what happened to the play?
it's a really lousy play
Julie (indescifrable) pay?
we got cut so there's no way
Julie you're insane so go away! WEE!

I hate Julie Taymor
She doesn't havea clue
my neck is breaking wearing her designs
and suflixating too
The puppetry is stunning
but what I must confide
althought it looks great from the audience
it's torture here inside

can you feel the pain tonight?
the string this head-dress brings
the cracking bones
the tearing cartilige
kills all living things

(falta una estrofa, pronto la veras aqui)
