Circle of Life MUCK
is a futuristical version of The Lion King [it is happening a 1000 years
in the future]. Although most of the events that appeared in the movie
never happened here, the characters and relationships between them still
exist. Though some might not really approve of this, it allows a certain
freshness, since characters are not limited to their pasts anymore. They
still have their own characteristics [or at least the characteristics we
think they have, since we only saw parts of their life in the movie] and
combined with technology [it is happening in the future after all]
things get very interesting.
The MUCK re-opened around Jan 1st and is still
seeking a couple of FCs plus more lionesses for Mufasa`s/Scar`s/Simba`s
pride [depending on how far the timeline has gone]. Though there are rules
[as with any MUCK], COL isn't at stiff as some other MUCKs are with the
way you RP your character, so more freedom is allowed [example- there are
practically no rules on TS. You can basiaclly do what you want- just try
to keep it realistic (aka if you`re a normal, act as one)].

Why?
So why am I so into this MUCK? I mean, not
everyone practically dedicates a part of their web site to a MUCK. Well,
next to the fact that I really like it, there is a selfish part. I'm a
wiz on it and I have designed most of the timeline [which is currently
being played], everyone is doing such a great job with it and I'd hate
to see it go to waste by players not coming. It has quite some players
now, but needs more and this seems like a way to advertise it. So go there.
For all of you that don't only RP on TLK MUCKs
you can also choose whether your character is an anthro or a "normal" [there
is an explanation in the MUCK on how this is possible, but I won't go into
it right now. Just page Sarafina and ask]. If you start-off as a cub [required
for lions] you're a normal at first and choose your "status" when adolescent.
USFF / BOPR
When your character is created, you also choose
which side you'll belong to- USFF [Simba`s side], BOPR [Scar`s/Kisasian`s
side] or Neutral [well, you just don't like any of them]. Currently the
sides don't really exist yet [the timeline hasn't progressed that far yet]
but should be there around the 1st of April or so. They also define your
character a bit- if you're a BOPR, you're probably "bad to the bone". Oh
yeah, the command to set it is "where #title <title>", title meaning
side.
