Jenna’s Past

Jenna stirred in her sleep. She flinched. She was running running but running from what. "got ya" a male rust and cream husky said jumping over Jenna and stopped in front of her. "Not yet"
Jenna sliding under his stomach. Suddenly they heard voices.
"where did my drated husky go with that wolf" the voice said.
Jenna skidded in to the man. "ahhh" she shouted "help". Jenna’s dad jumped over her and hit the man. Her dad was a tall strong wolf he was cream all over. BANG!! A a gun shot echoed over the forest. Jenna woke up. "Balto wake up". Balto stirred. "what is it jenna" he said looking down at her. she looked worried. "what’s the matter"
" I I I think I’m part w w wolf" she said covering her head with her paws. Balto put his head on one side. "why" he said concerned. Balto put his paw over her shoulders. "I had a dream" she said "I was playing with my brother when I ran in to a man with a gun. h he shot my dad. My dad looked like a a wolf" Balto and jenna went quiet for a minute or two. "do you know where it happened?" Balto asked. "It was in the pine forest near here." she said. "in a stone cave" "was that all you could remember" Balto said in a worried tone. " yes" jenna said.
"ok just settle and try to go to sleep" Balto said "Good night" and droped off almost instantly. Jenna went back to sleep.
"Good morning" Balto said when he saw jenna wake up.
"Did you get any more memorys in another dream" he asked.
"Yes my mother was a rust coloured husky and we lived in a den by a river" she said. "Do you want to go there?" Balto asked "I think I remember seeing a den by the river when I was trying to catch up with aleu" "If you would Balto" she said "I just don’t want to cause you any trouble" she looked sadder
"well come on then" Balto said with a smile on his face.
They walked for about an hour talking about their pasts and memories when Jenna stopped dead. "Thats the place" she said looking over the river to a stone cave. "But how do we cross" she said. "There" Balto said surprising jenna. "Balto not so loud" she said "Follow me " Balto said as he started to walk up the river. He stopped at a fallen tree. He jumped up on to the log. "a bridge" Jenna said in surprise.
"Well here it is" jenna said "the old den" they walked in it was light because it had holes in the roof that let it in. "wow" Balto exclaimed seeing a eight foot stalactite hanging from the roof
"we played under there as pups" jenna said. "so many memories are flooding back" Jenna’s eyes widened "whats the matter" Balto asked "there" Balto looked under what looked like a mountain of snow there was a cream paw. suddenly it flinched. "We must get that dog out" Balto said as he started digging at the snow.
There lieing in the snow was a male rust and cream dog. "Rockie" jenna said "Rockie wake up" she lifted his paw up with her nose. "Jenna" he said surprised "it can’t be" he slowly got to his feet.he hesitated. "Mother Jenna’s back" Rockie said with a smile on his face. Balto sat down and so did jenna. Out of a corner walked a husky. She had a rust coloured coat and emerald green eyes. "Mother" Jenna said walking up to her. "Jenna we thought you had been killed with your father" "where are the others?" Jenna asked. "there right here" she said and out emerged four dogs two male and two female. Balto who hadn’t been noticed yet over looked them with a grin on his face. "have you got a mate yet" Jenna’s mother asked "yes he is right there" she said nodding to Balto. Balto stepped forward and sat by Jenna. "hi" he said "glad two meet you all" "hi" they all said at the same time and laughed. "what are there names" Balto wispered to jenna the others heard him and they said "Jessica, James, Andrew and Rebecca" "nevermind iv got my answer" Balto said and grined.
It was soom time to go after they had said good bye Balto and Jenna started to walk home when Jenna said "I wonder how aleu is? i hope those wolves are treating her ok" "Jenna" Balto said "she and the other pups are fine" "But Balto i’ve got a feeling she isn’t" Jenna said. "Just relax jenns dont worry" Balto said as they reached Jenna’s house they walked in curled up by the fire and slept through the night.
