Ed

Ed is the one who decides not to speak to lions. Well, to lions because

his friends, Shenzi and Banzai understand him! A lot of people think that he's stupid because

he only laughs. But the language of the spotted hyenas includes some tunes sounding like laughing.

So we could suppose, that Ed's just talking the hyena's language, not comprehensible to lions and humans 

or any non-hyena animal. Did you ever watch the movie, looking in every hyena scene just on Ed?

I did and I noticed, that he understands every word, he reacts on every comment and every order. 

So is he so stupid?

Well, I can say it's rather intelligent of Ed, not to speak, 'cause if you don't talk you can't say anything wrong,

especially in Scar's presence...
