I quite enjoy playing the piano and the recorder, and often I just improvise melodies for the fun of it. I have a better feel for the keys on a real piano, that’s why I never do that on my keyboard so that I could record it...

The following pieces are not improvisations, nor have I used my keyboard for them, except to synthesize them in the end; I’ve actually done it all with the mouse.

    Genre: Please let me know if you can classify this piece into a genre, as I haven’t a clue!

    Golden Eagles have always been my favourite animals, but there was a period when I started going absolutely crazy about them, and I started searching for information about them, images of them, etc. This is a by-product of that craze. In addition, I had just entered the Lion King fandom at that time, and I regard this piece as Lion King fanart, even though there are no eagles in the film.

    After I wrote this piece, it took me a month to find an adequate name for it. I asked other people how they would name it; one of the suggestions was “Urban Chaos”. I rejected it because I knew I wanted a name which was in some way related to either eagles or The Lion King.

    Most people find this one better than the previous, though I don’t. This piece is slightly inspired by Vanessa Mae, even though it doesn’t sound similar to any of Mae’s pieces in the slightest.

    The name was originally suggested to me as a name for the piece above (Eagle’s Eye). I used it for this piece simply because the suggestion was made by a fan of Vanessa Mae.
