I'm a girl born in 1982, living in Sweden. Like most (if not all?) people on this list I simply love The Lion King. I don't know HOW that film does it but it ALWAYS makes my eyes water, especially during the Under the Stars scene. However, my interest is mostly in the original film and music; I haven't collected any Lion King merchandise since the mid-90's and haven't seen Simba's Pride (and don't really want to), either. Call me conservative! :) I did see and enjoy The Lion King 1½ and would love to see the musical, though. I constantly berate myself because I didn't find out about the Lion King IMAX showings in time to go to England and see one! In the good old days I always had more Lion King trading cards than my friends, used to draw the characters perfectly from memory and beat the Sega 16-bit game over and over. Now my old Sega is long gone but I'm happy to say I've picked up drawing again after having seen the wonderful fan art here on the 'net!

The picture shows me in 1995, when The Lion King was still taking the world by roar! I look about the same now but with a different hairdo and nine more years of life experience....
