Departure
Here I rest, and lay my head
Before I join, the world of dead
For death becomes me, sure to creep
And take my life, within my sleep.
And those who know me, they shall cry
And wonder why I had to die
But now my friends, the time has come
For me to pass, pass my life on.
For death will come, and me will take
And I shall sleep, and not awake
And though your hearts, will fill with sorrow
Don't cry today, live for tomorrow.
And though not long, my life did last
Forget me now, I'm in the past
Don't lie awake, and think of me
That isn't how my end should be.
Just carry on, and live your life
And find a man, or find a wife
And don't forever be thinking back
'Cus I am on, a different track.
I have now said all to be said
When you read this, I will be dead
Just clear your mind, of my depart
But please don't loose me, from your heart.
