The Walk

Here and stand, and walk today
I walk, and walk my life away
As I think of the time gone
And think of the time still to come.

I think back, upon the years
I see the hardness and the tears
And see all the times of woe
When the wrong path I did go.

But the right path makes me glad
And it dispels all thought of bad
But a crossroads is where I've come
Which path to take? Which path is wrong?

And advice, it all floods in
But the choice is mine, comes from within
For I must listen to my heart
And decide which way I must depart.

For 3 paths are left to me
And they are hidden mysteries
All containing times ahead
And all ending with me dead.

But which path is the best one?
Which can offer the most fun?
And which path contains the less sorrow?
Which one would I like tomorrow?

For once I've chose there's no return
That much I've already learnt
The right choice I hope to make
When I pick which path to take.

So my life halts while I wait
To see which path contains my fate
But this one question I must know
Is this my life, or just a road?
