The Cut Scenes!!
From Simba's Pride!

Cut scenes?  Yes, there are 5 MPEG movie clips containing cut scenes from The Lion King's sequel Simba's Pride.
Now although I don't currently have permission to link directly to the cut scenes I can give you a link to a web site where you can get them.  But first, why not find out what you can have, with the aid of screenshots.
Now these screenshots are directly from the mpeg clips and have not been altered to make the picture more clear, so some pictures may look a bit rubbish, but the subject matter is still clear.
All movies are property of Walt Disney TV Animation.

Kovu hunting for NukaThe picture to the left is Kovu, hunting for Nuka just after the logs fell on him.  This clip is a longer version of Nuka's death with the little bit of extra speech that was (for reasons best known to Disney) cut. Nuka's final words The words uttered by Nuka in the film are "I'm sorry mother, I tried!" then he dies.  However in the cut scene the script is as follows "I'm sorry mother, I tried.  Well, I finally got your attention, didn't I?  Didn't I!?".  Those last words still send a cold streak down my spine.

Another one of the cut scenes was Zira's death.  The cut scene was titled Zira's Suicide.  Now I think it was a shame that Disney decided to end Simba's Pride the way they did - not using this cut scene.  Personally I think the way she dies in the cut scene is more characteristic to Zira then just having her fall of the ledge.Zira, refusing to be helped
Here we see Zira swiping away Kiara's paw.  Then in the film Kiara calls "I'll help you!" to which Zira quietly replies "What?" then she falls.  Not in the cut scene.  The cut scene goes like this..."I'll help you" "What......No, Never!!!Then we see Zira throw herself off the cliff with a big smile on her face.  She would rather kill herself then be helped by a Pridelander, especially Simba's daughter.

Zira's paw being swept away by the river Then she falls into the water and we see Zira's paw getting swept away under a log.  When watching Simba's Pride you have to look VERY quickly and carefully to see it for the paw is on screen for a matter or micro seconds and is easy to miss (as I did until I saw the cut scene).  This screenshot should give you some idea where to look.  Being able to pause the film and do a visual search helps to find where her paw is as well.  If you look at Zira's plummet in to the river in the film you will she that she has a large smile on her face as she falls, again that takes a keen eye to see!

And where can you get these and the other Simba's Pride cut scenes?  Why, from http://digital.lionking.org of course!  Go to the Movie Gallery and scroll down untill you find 'em!
