The graphics menu has been modified a bit to allow for a new system. All free graphics requests have been since outsourced to the volunteers on TLKP Forum. To reduce the amounts of requests, we are in the process of making "pre-fabbed" signatures and avatars to be made available for download and use. These will be added as created. The avatars and signatures are available for download and use on TLK Forum or any other forum, so long as you do not modify the graphic to remove any credit to the creator, and that you upload it to host on your own image hosting service. (Don't use up our bandwidth, please!) Check out the graphics section.

66 more avatars were added to the avatars section. This finishes the SP avatars, and also puts me at completion of this section.

Due to an increase of members to The Lion King Pride Forum, I decided to add a bunch more avatars. I started today, and added 27 to the existing archive. I will be adding more very shortly. Check out the avatars section now to see the new additions! Looking for custom avatars (or signatures)? Then go in the forum and place a request. There are always top notch graphics gurus around to whip one up for you in a jiffy!

There have been quite a few updates over the past week or so, most of which I waited until now to log on the updates list. As usual, more pages have been updated to the new design. This has been a gradual process since the new design was rolled out (see previous entries.) I've finally revived the TLKP award. The winners for 2007 are announced here. Also, a new section was added: Beyond The Lion King. This section deals with the books that have been released that delve more deeply into the storyline. (i.e. the history of Scar and Mufasa, Simba's mysterious son that never made it into TLK 2, etc.) This was created with the help of Wikipedia, but will be enhanced shortly, with more information, character lists, and pictures! Check back for that! Also, that chat room has been discontinued. Instead, a chat function has been established at The Lion King Pride Forum. As this is a very active forum, the chances of finding someone to talk to are greater. Also, it gives me more control over banning abusive members to keep the chat safe for everyone.

Frequent visitors to this site will be probably saying, "It's been redesigned again!?" Yes, it has. Why? A simple truth: I get bored easily. I get it my head of how I want my site to look, and change it on a whim. :) This design is a bit neater than the old. Anyhow, I don't plan on changing it again for a little while after this. I've only managed to get the design implemented on a few pages on the site: the "mane" page and these "What's New?" pages. The rest will happen as I get the time. Stay tuned for updates.

Due to the popularity of the avatars in my forum, I added a new avatars page to my graphics/media section. All avatars are still available in The Lion King Pride Forum as well. (If you are a webmaster of a Lion King themed site, please make sure you read the notice at the top of the avatars page!)

I added a new fan art piece to the submissions page. I hope to have a little more time to add more things to the site over the next few weeks before vacation. Also, I changed over a few of the pages.

Again, more general clean up went on, as well as the adding of quite a few links that were a bit behind. Next on the "to do" list? *sigh* Clean up the links. Found a lot of "dead" ones in there. Guess a lot of people don't keep their websites for long.

Only one thing to add, other than the gradual cleaning up of the pages as previously mentioned. I've cleaned up the Pride Store a bit, added new products, and removed the out-of-date ones.

Long time since the last major update, but a lot of background stuff has been going on. I've cleaned up the links on the side as well as the logos at the bottoms of the pages. Because of the ongoing renovations, these may not function properly on some pages of the site until it is complete. The Lion King Banner Exchange has been discontinued until further notice. The server is no longer funtioning properly, and despite it's short life-span I have given up on it. Until a new server can host this, this will not be redone. The Top 50 Lion King Sites list, which was on the same server as the banner exchange, IS being moved. It has already been tested at it's new location: http://lionking.top-site-list.com/ If you were a member of the old list, you'll need to sign up again. You'll also need to update the old code, which points to the old list. This new list has more advanced features, including a message board (which will be used as a help area.)

Well, The Lion King Pride has finally gotten it's own domain! The new address for this site is http://www.lionkingpride.net !! Thank you to Brian from lionking.org for continuing to host this site, hosting the new domain, and for his help with getting the domain up and running.

The Lion King Pride Forum has been upgraded. It's located on a new server, and is much more interactive than before! This has more of a "community" feel to it. You are required to sign up, however, you can use avatars, smilies, pictures, etc. I hope this will promote a lot more talking between Lion King fans. Check it out: http://lkpride.proboards41.com

Ok, it's been a lot longer than a month this time. Not too many major updates, just a bunch of small things. I've, of course, updated the footer logos on the pages to change the effective copyright dates to end in 2005. Check out the voices section...lots more actor/sctress photos have been added. Also, the header logos are new...they needed a little sprucing up. And some new buttons and banners have been added also for linking purposes. I've also recently updated the links, taking out bad ones and adding quite a few new ones.

After over a month of no major updating (other than regular stuff like the poll and such) I've added a major new service for Lion King webmasters. This service, The Lion King Banner Exchange, will provide free promotion for Lion King themed sites.

Well, the Simba's Pride screen captures are now up on the site. I had been waiting for the DVD release to do this, to get the higher quality graphics. I've uploaded a total of 74. Enjoy!
