Copyright information
Once the commission piece has arrived in your snailmail inbox, you have the
right to do the following:
- You may scan and photocopy it for your own use.
- Photocopies may be given away (not sold!) to others.
- Scans may be used for your personal web pages, as long as you credit
me for it (a link to my page or email addy would be nice :).
- You may send the scans to newsgroups and put them on CD-ROM archives and
such, but please ask me first! Like most furry artists, I'd like to know
where my pics are going :).
But you may never ever:
- Alter the picture.
- Leave my name or logo from it, or credit someone else.
- Sell it without my permission.
I will retain the right to make any number of photocopies and put a scan of your
pic in one of my online portfolios. If you (for whatever reason) don't like the
idea, explain it to me and I will not spread or publish scans or photocopies.
I do not have any standard procedures for transferring the copyrights to
others, sharing copyrights, or drawing characters whose copyright is held
by others. For these cases, I'd say everything is negotiable.
