The Cut-scenes
There were several scenes cut from the movie before it's release. Five of these were fully animated and are avalible for download at here and here. Most fans are upset that these scenes were cut from the final film as they help explain the plot and characters more.
Rafiki's Introduction
The scene after Kiara's presentation. Rafiki paints Kiara's image in the circle of life whilst talking to Mufasa's spirit. Mufasa warns Rafiki of trouble that is about to come.
Kovu and the bug
This scene is pretty much character development time for Kovu. We learn that he is not the cold hearted killer that Zira want's him to be, nor is he the son of Scar.
A reason for the outsider's plans to take over the pridelands is also addressed again in this scene.
Nuka and Vitani bring News
The following scene to "Kovu and the bug". Nuka and Vitani return from Kiara's presentation to bring the news that Simba's cub is a girl.
We're given even more of an insight to Zira's plans through this scene as well as Nuka's own ambitions.
Nuka's Death
The scene is pretty much the same as it is in the film now but with a few more lines. More spotlight is put on Nuka and his vain attempt to get his mothers attention.
Zira's Suicide
The title pretty much sums it up doesn't it?! A well done scene which excelerates Zira's character to the extremes.
