Dawn Approaches Dawn at Pride Rock... not as good as the first film, but not bad!
King Lazy Seeing as he didn't get any last night, a strangely smiling Simba gets up extra early and leaves the den.
Meow And since no one is about, he can get away with being a big cuddly kitten with his stretches.
Thoughtful [Simba's Mind]: Hrm... while the dangerous and untrusty Outlander who I let sleep by the den last night has disappeared, I'm going to leave the lionesses unattended while I go for a drink by myself.
Painting This is one shot I particularly like from the movie, in the fact it's almost like a painting (which in essence it is, considering that Simba's the only animated aspect to it). A larger resolution of this image is available here.
Hot in Here A grumpy-faced stalker has tracked the furry monarch down, hoping to persuade him to have a little bit of Outsider fun.
Hot EVIL! Love it! The expression, the mane, the snarl, the properly-done-for-once paws with claws! Mrow!
Preparation... Kovu prepares himself to pounce, despite the fact Simba's mane and tail tuft have turned brown once more...
... Failure! ... when Kiara appears in mid air, as is seen by the both frightened and upset look on the rogue lion's face.

Huzzah! There's no way I couldn't upload this shot to the gallery. I have a personal thing against Timon, and seeing him pecked (albiet a few inches too high) is something I delight in.

Dinner Time Sixteen birds on one warthog. There's no way Kovu or Kiara could pass up an opportunity for a feast like this!

The Gang After a few minutes, however, Kovu begins to enjoy things.
