Description |
Kiara, eager to explore and play.
The Pridelands - One great big playground to a young cub!
Simba doesn't want his daughter to go running off all over the place.
But is quite content to play with her own the rocks. Chiefly the game 'Try to move more than a foot away from me'.
... Which Kiara isn't the best at.
She is, however, easily distracted.
And even more easily caught.
[Simba's mind]: Was I that absent-minded as a cub?
The infamous 'Please?' expression, known to parents throughout the savannah.
When that fails, the 'Aww, how adorable am I?' look usually takes over.
[Nala's mind]: Aww, how adorable is she?
[Simba's Mind]: ... Is she really mine? Maybe Nala just got a bit too frisky with Scar in that bit before Shadowland... I hope.

Cubs can be easily confused, a problem when coupled with their boundless curiosity. Thankfully for the male lions, though, they grow more attractive with age.
They love her really!
An affectionate nuzzle between daughter and father.
Ruffling of the headfur - An affectionate parting gesture.
"Simba, I'm pregnant again."
"Pinned ya... how many times now, Simba?" Despite being able to defeat Scar and a large troop of hyenas at the end of The Lion King, and fighting several leonines at once near the end of this film, Simba still manages to get pinned by Nala.
The Queen displays her affection.
Simba and Nala nuzzle.
Queen Nala - Still pretty, despite it being a few years older since the end of the first film and having given birth to at least two cubs.
Simba asks his friends to keep an eye on Kiara.
The famous duo plot upon stealth.
