Come here! Ah, cubs, how they delight the eyes to watch them playing with freakishly large butterflies.
The Hunteress Sadly, I don't think Kiara will ever become as skillful as her mother at hunting.
Missed Aww, she was so close and all.
Peeking over Rocks But Kiara spots something far more interesting than a butterfly...
The Outlands ... The Outlands.
Awed A desolate, grim place occupied by scavengers (presumably), termites, and a rather mangy Pride of lions... You can see why she wants to go there, rather than muck around safely in the Pride Lands, can't you?
Wow I rather like this still, for some odd reason. It could be the pool and it's surrounding grasses, it could be the acacias... We shall never know.
What's Out There? "I wonder what's out there?"

You know, there's a good reason why Simba said, "Stay on the path I marked for you!"
Sneaking The babysitters have cornered their young charge.
AAAGH! Just in time for heart attacks all around! (I kind of feel sorry for Kiara in this one)
Wet Timon "Oh, no... Ohh..."

And he spent so long getting his fur all nice and neat!
Think Timon "Gee, Simba. The good news is, we found your daughter. The bad news is, we dropped a warthog on her. Is... there a problem with that?"
Pumbaa Babysitting at it's most literal.
Grumpy Kiara Apparently Kiara doesn't see the funny side to being trapped underwater whilst also being sat on by a warthog.
Slipped Disk? "You didn't slip a disc, did you?"
Fever? "Catch a fever?"
Hangnail? "Get a hangnail?"
Shade "Darling... with your complexion, you should stay out of the sun."

Again, this is one of the stills I really like, although I have no idea why.
Grumpy Again I'm beginning to think this cub has anger issues... Either that or constipation.
Log Lifting Nothing defuses anger and stress from a situation like rustling up their favourite food...
Grubs! "Grubs!
"The other white meat!"
"And so high in protein!"
Ewww "Eww, gross!"

Sadly, few lions appreciate the delight that is eating bugs, considering their usual diet of antelope, gazelles, and various meats that don't live under logs.
Connoisseurs Timon and Pumbaa, fine connoisseurs of all manner of grubs, insects, and icky things.
Uninterested "Slimy!" "Crunchy!" "Slimy!" "Crunchy!" "Slimey!" "Crunchy!"

Kiara quickly tires of Timon and Pumbaa's argument over which bugs taste better.
Cunning Cub So promptly sneaks off, like any smart cub would!
Escaped! Yup, they won't notice she's gone for a while. A long, bug-filled while.
