Description |
Zira must of done something big to have her and her loyal lionesses to be sent out here. Maybe she got a bit frisky with Sarabi while Simba was out hunting...
That look can mean only one thing - Amoré!
And stepping up here, we have the adolescent Nuka! His weapon of choice, a single claw. This evening, ladies and gentlefurs, LIVE at the Outlands, he will use this one claw to serious tick off a sibling!
Nuka is essentially a comic relief character, what with his comedic visuals and lines, but despite that, I think he's a great character in the movie. Much more so than Timon or Pumbaa.
Vitani isn't quite as cute when she is a cub, except for a few parts in 'My Lullaby'... As an adult though, she's smokin'!
I think it's interesting to note that Nuka's forepaws have constantly extended claws, though not his hindpaws. He's so Scar's son.
As state before, Vitani isn't the prettiest of the cubs, though she is only behind cubs: Simba, Nala, Fluffy/Kopa/Tanabi, Kiara, and Kovu. Behind all of them, in fact.
Itchy Nuka!
Whilst not the most aesthetically pleasing of the lions, Nuka remains one of the funnier ones.
Poor termite ridden Nuky-poos. How come he's the only one from all of Zira's Pride that suffers from them?
[Vitani's Mind]: I'm so glad I'm not interested in males... That Kiara though, mrow!
Oops! Seems for this particular frame Nuka doesn't have any distinct toes on his left forepaw! (He appears to have them in the rest of the scene)
Ouch, ouch, and ouch! Those termites really must bug him.
The best still I have of Vitani so far; position and colouring is much nicer, not to mention the pose. One may even call her (in this shot) 'cute'!
[Nuka's Mind]: Hey, mom! Look at me, look at me! Please, tell me you love me, please!
Ever feel like you're not the centre of attention? Does it constantly get you down? Then maybe you need Rafiki's councilling services! Just call 555-OVERLOOKED and the mandrill will be sent your way!
Is there anything more enjoyable than play fighting? Well, there is that... but let's not go there.
If you ever thought your parents were tough on you, you've obviously not seen Zira.
"Sorry, mother! ...Sh-she didn't seem so bad. I thought we could be-"
"Friends?!
[Kovu's Mind]: Please don't kill me.
A fantastic picture of Zira, with the sun hanging low in the sky behind her.
[Zira's Mind]: Kovu gets to Kiara, Simba likes Kovu, Kovu kills Simba, I rule the Pride Lands... Bingo!
How does Zira end up seeming more frightening when she's acting nice? Look at Kovu, he's terrified!
[Kovu's Mind]: Why can't she go back to shouting at me? Mom's less scary when she's not being nice... She also doesn't hurt me as much.
Somehow, I don't think 'Rhythm of the Outlands' would of sold as many copies...
One has to feel sorry for Nuka... His mother favours her daughter and other son, she generally ignores or shouts at him, and is persisted by an entire colony of termites.
