Aprehension Kiara looks back towards the where she has come with apprehension before setting off once more for the border of the Pride Lands.
The Watchers Vitani and Nuka observe the princess from a distance.
Firefirefirefire Vitani still looks rather happy about setting fire to things... is anyone else here worried?
Drawing the Line "Roasty toasty princess... roasty toasty princess..."
Skipping Zira would so kill Nuka if she caught him skipping about. Scar start skipping when a plan is put in motion... he just sings.
Hot in Here? "Hey, is it hot in here, or is that just me?"
Burned "Fire! Yowww!"
Crash Landing Eloquence, style, class... sadly none of these describe Nuka. I do sometimes wonder about if Scar really is his father or if Zira just likes to pretend.
Third Time's a Charm Kiara makes a third attempt at hunting the same herd of Topi as before. If nothing, it shows that she's stubborn like her mother.
Huh? For once, it's not her that has the herd spooked.
Kiara Surprised [Kiara's Mind]: Damn it, I've not even done anything this time!
The Chase is On And they're off, Lucky Red in the lead, followed closely by Rump Steak and Fleet Foot, bringing up the rear is... wait, they all look the same.
Triple Uh-oh Stampede! Fire! Birds!
Panic [Kiara's Mind]: And I haven't even had breakfast yet!
Romance Ah, nothing's more romantic than getting cosy and snuggly with your favourite lion by a warm fire. It just makes things even hotter if the lion is your son.
Zira and Kovu It's hard to tell who is the more attractive in this picture. I love them both! Zira's rather mrow... though Kovu looks too badass to pass up.
The Plan "The plan is in motion. Go!"
Zazu's Comfort "Don't worry, Simba. She'll be fine."
Simba is Dubious "What could happen?"
[Simba's Mind]: Flood, attack by a predator, internal lacerations after flirting with zebra...
Realisation [Simba's Mind]: ... did I just see?

Where There's Smoke... There's fire in the Pridelands... though no river from the first film, apparently.
Concerned "No! Kiara!"
She's Been Flirting [Zebra's Mind]: First Kiara, now fire! And I thought today couldn't get any worse!
I'm Really Too Mean About Kiara Despite being so close to a fiery death, Kiara continues to chase after her very reluctant and potential mates.
Sprint Through the Flames One of the downsides of being a lion is that it makes you quite flammable.

The Rock I'm not too sure how standing on top of a rock with flames underneath is a definition of safety... Kiara seems to know, though.
Heading for the Rock Kiara makes a run for it.
The Leap One thing must be said for Kiara... she has some skill when it comes to leaping.
Deja Vu I've heard of creatures inheriting their parents' mannerisms... but situations they've been in, I had no idea about!
Help! Kiara scrabbles against the cliff face.

Sucks [Kiara's Mind]: And grandma Sarafina was going to teach me how to be seductive this evening! This day sucks.
Close Almost fell in that time!
Leaping Again With a magnificant show of strength, Kiara pushes herself up the cliff.
Cough Cough Kings, it's a bad day for a lioness to have a chest infection.
Ugh... It's an even worse day to faint.
Unconscious ... in fact, it's a pretty bad day for most things.
Kovu's Appearance Especially with mysterious lions stalking around under the cover of smoke.
In Heat I could make so many jokes about half-lidded gazes at hunky lions from a lioness in heat, but I'll be good and stop myself.
Grraawr How evil, how dark, how sinister... how sexy.
Kovu the Dom [Kovu's Mind]: I do love a helpless female, with me standing over her... better check she's still alive though.
Safety First [Kovu's Mind]: Phew, she's still alive... now for some fun.

Kovu vs Scar Kovu. He's like Scar, but cuter and friendlier (open to debate).
Kovu the Hero Heroic pose, set against flames and a blood red sky. The only thing I wonder is... how did the rock catch fire like that?
Like a Book Cresting flames, a damsel in distress, a roaring prince coming to save the day!
Eesh [Kovu's Mind]: This better be worth it... flames, cliffs, carrying some heavy lioness on my back... mom's plan better work.
Breach of Contract [Kovu's Mind]: Falling trees! This wasn't in the contract!
Jumping Again Faced with a flaming log in front of him, Kovu does the only thing he can - bunch his leg muscles up and give a mighty leap over the flames...
Foolish Move ... and straight down a cliff.
Poor Survival Skills Splosh. Kiara hits the water with all the grace of a dying flamingo. And rather than being brought back to consciousness by being tossed down a cliff and the impact of hitting the water, she sinks.
Scar Reference! Lucky Kovu is there to save her, eh?
Wet Floppy Mane [Kovu's Mind]: So... no mating, lots of fire, lots of bashing into rocks, and lots of water. Next time, it's Nuka's turn to follow out one of mom's plans.
