Range:                           The jaguar is native to South America, though does occur in some of the                                      southern United States: Argentina; Belize; Bolivia; Brazil; Colombia; Costa                                      Rica; Ecuador; French Guiana; Guatemala; Guyana; Honduras;                                      Mexico; Nicaragua; Panama; Paraguay; Peru; Suriname; United States;                                      Venezuela.
