On the Shore of Morland Pool
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Time has taken Her toll from the small rocks and pebbles around here, creating a natural sandy beach around the small pool being constantly nurtured by the rainbow coloured Morland Falls. Droplets of water keep splashing onto the shore, creating funny patterns of wet sand, the temperature of the water of the shallow pool - just deep enough to hide yourself in it - being considerably warmer than that of the waterfall itself, a natural effect from the sun shining onto the pool from dawn till dusk. Only a couple of feet away, a small grove of oaks seems to build a natural fortress. A low-slung myrrh bush is here. A green-flowered ginseng plant has been planted here. A red elm tree grows here, its branches gently swaying in the breeze. A lobelia wildflower is growing here. A purple coneflower grows here, its large stalk straining towards the sky. A low-lying wild ginger plant is growing here. A runic totem is planted in the ground. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A skullcap flower lies here. You see exits leading north, west, and south. |
