Auto-Hit

Auto-hit is a form of battling faster than the traditional way of battling.  It involves every move hitting, for example "He slashed at her paw, drawing blood."  In the other form of battling this move could be dodged.

More examples:

"He sunk his teeth into her paw pad, ripping away the soft pad"

"She grabbed his tail, biting deep into his flesh and pulling away much of his fur, blood leaking out of his wound"

"He headbutted her flank, pushing her down into the ground"

In the other form of battling, these moves would be Power-play, saying the other persons wounds or what happens to them (e.g "pushing her down into the ground") there would be a chance to dodge or counteract this move in the other form of battling.

Though this type of fighting allows you to say what your attack does, it doesn't allow you to do impossible things, like breaking another creatures bone in one bite, or ripping muscles, tendons etc.  Ripping another creatures muscle would take at least three moves of powerful attacks on the same area, though this would be rare as the creature would do all in their power to protect that area from attack again.  Breaking a bone would be also as hard, with at least four/five powerful attacks on that area.  Also, powerful attacks would be hard to do, as you, like your opponent would become tired quickly in a fight.

After a battle (unless it was in battle training), you must play your injures, a single use of a heal blessing won't suddenly bring you back to normal again.  Your pack/gang/den or friends might help you survive, bringing you food and helping you rest.  If you had recieved a broken paw in a fight, it would be very hard for you to hunt alone, and only if you were lucky would you be able to pick of a injured creature.  You also become prime target to hunters, or to those who kill for fun.  This is why it is crical for you to have somewhere safe where others will protect you.  If you end up in another fight before your wounds are healed, you can't suddenly get rid of all those wounds.

I have made a rough guide to how long certain wounds may take to heal, if you are stuck for ideas.  Depending on how much you rest or try and run around, this time may take longer or shorter.  Also, it depends on how large the wound also.

(Days in real day)

Broken Bone ~ 3 Weeks

Injured Muscle ~ 2 Weeks

Torn Muscle ~ 3 Weeks

Large Wound ~ 2 Weeks

Small Scratches ~ 1 Week
