He roared louder than any other animal. His body was healthy and strong. He had great power within his tough inner spirit. He had a charming personality along with his friendly smile. All the lionesses dreamed to be his queen when he ascends the throne. This lion was legendary to all and the most memorable Lion King of all. This proud king that will be remembered through all generations goes by the name, Madagascar... Episode 7:"The Story of 15th Sacred King Madagascar" As the sun rose, all the lions of Firerock Mountain have awoken and went about with their normal business. Most of them hunted for food in a unit. Others trained for their next upcoming battles. The rest, mostly the younger lionesses, all just took their time they might have left in life and slept and played in the best possible way. The day seemed to pass quickly. The lions all gathered back to Firerock Mountain to rest for the day as the sun began to set. Libya rested on a rock as the sun colored the sky in reddish orange. Mohatu walked past her, but soon stopped to look at the sky. He smiled as he felt a familiar soul from the sun. "A heart as golden as the sun. A smile that showed a sunny disposition. Great King of Past, Madagascar," Mohatu murmured. Libya sighed softly while she looked at the sun. "My father was sure something when he was king, wasn't he?" Libya asked. "Yes, he was. No other king could ever compare to him," Mohatu said. "I hardly knew him. I only saw him once and that was the day I was born. He died of an uncurable sickness. My mom died shortly after his death, so I was raised by my aunt. She didn't know that much about my father, but he said that he was a great lion." "He was. I was a cub when I knew him. He used to tell me stories about himself." Libya perked up and looked to Mohatu. "You knew my father?" Mohatu nodded and looked to the sky. "He was like my other father to me," Mohatu answered. "Can you tell me more about my father? It would make me less melancholy about him if I know more about him." "I guess so. Let's come inside Firerock." Mohatu walked up the rocksteps of the mountain with Libya following him. "Which part of the story you want to know first?" Mohatu asked as he walked. "I don't know. Maybe...when she met my mother the first time?" Libya suggested. "How Madagascar met his mate, huh? I think you'll really like this one." After the two lions walked in Firerock, Mohatu layed down to his side with Libya resting in front of him, awaiting the story. "It was 35 years ago," Mohatu started... ...20 years before the War of the Pridelands' Fall, Firerock Mountain was ruled by Great King of Past, Mfalme. He grew up into the King of Firerock Mountain. Soon after his ceremony as a king, his beloved fell pregnant. Mfalme became the father to six children, and, among one of them, was a light brown cub who he has chosen to be the next king, Madagascar. Madagascar played with his three brothers and two sisters everyday and they all learned together. Madagascar also became friends with several other cubs in another pride. He was very special to everyone because he was very open-minded and friendly to everyone. His popularity grew substanctually as the years passed. 16 years in the past of Firerock Mountain, the golden-furred, black maned king, Mfalme, walked off on patrol. After he left, an adolescent Madagascar came out and stretched himself to relax his muscles. He looked more like his father everyday. His light brown fur remained intact and his black mane started to grow. Before he left, a lioness ran after him and halted him. "Hey, Brother Madaga!" she cried. Madagascar turned around and faced the lioness. "What's wrong, Sister Lina?" he asked politely. "Um,, can you say hi to your friend, Havon, for me? I would do it myself, but you know Mom," she answered in a crack in her voice. "Sure, I will. I promise ya." Madagascar ran off into the lands, leaving Lina sighing softly. In a forest near the kingdom, Madagascar and all of his friends were talking to each other about their usual gossip. "The jungle games are coming soon!" a gray-maned lion named Koji declares. "I can't wait!" "I'm pretty stoked about them, too," the red-maned lion named Havon agreed. "I'll blow the competition away!" "You sound pretty sure of yourself," Madagascar said with a smile. "Just be sure in your 100-yard race you're in, don't eat the mud literally like you did last time in practice yesterday, okay?" All the boys laughed heartily as they remembered that. Havon only rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." "He's right, you know," Koji said. "I mean, you want to impress your little heartthrob, Lina, don't ya?" Havon only scoffed at Koji and looks to Madagascar. "That reminds me. Madaga, what are the odds of Lina liking me?" "I say VERY high. As a matter of fact, she told me to tell you that she said hi," Madagascar answered. "Ya mean it?!" Havon exclaimed excitedly. The boys grinned coyly at Havon. "Well, tiger?" asked a brown-maned lion named Kagi. "You gonna go see her?" "Well, I guess...I guess I will," Havon stammered. Havon walked off to Firerock Mountain. "Don't be too late for practice, okay?" Koji yells after him. "I think he's gonna be a little late," Kagi whispered with a wink. The boys chuckled except Madagascar. He smiled as he looked at Havon walking to his crush. Then, one of the boys got his attention. "Madaga, is Shinsha-ko still available?" Koji asked. Kagi pushed Koji away from Madagascar. "I know what you're trying to do by asking that question! Shame on you!" Kagi scolded. "Only I'm the one for Shinsha-ko!" "I don't think so!" Koji agrued. "That girl is mine!" "Please, don't agrue," Madagascar pleaded. "You guys really like my sisters enough to fight over them." "Well, Madaga, your sisters are the most beautiful lionesses around!" Koji said. "Yeah! Shinsha-ko is gorgeous!" Kagi added. "That may be true, but it's merely an exxageration," Madagascar replied. "Well, to answer your question, yes, she's still available." "That's all I wanted to hear!" Kagi growled. Kagi pushed Koji aside and ran off towards Firerock Mountain. "Hey, wait!" Koji roared as he ran after him. Madagascar shook his head in disgust. "They are so hopeless when I comes to my sisters. At least Havon's love for Lina is sincere." "Yeah, well, you can't blame those two," a white lion named A-kro said. The other boys murmured in agreement. Madagascar sighed and turned his back. "Well, let's go ahead to practice for the jungle games. They're only 13 moons away," Madagascar suggested. Everyone agreed and followed Madagascar out the jungle. Madagascar and the boys trained in a wide spot in the grasslands. Some of them practice running, others wrestled and grappled, and the rest did dueling exercises. While the lions trained, the lionesses watched them. "Look at them work so hard," a purple-furred and skinny lioness named Leigh-ko said. "Um hmm," a light-tannish lioness named Raye-ko agreed. "They will crush our challengers from east of Africa." "It's also nice to watch our dear boys to train so hard," a random lioness added. The girls sighed lovesickly as they continued watching. One petite brown lioness didn't say a word. She only stared at one lion in particular, Madagascar. Another lioness named Jun looked to the brown lioness with curiosity. "Hey, Minshana!" she said. Minshana broke from her trance and looked to the other girls who each had a coy smile. "Who do you have your eyes on, Minshana?" Jun asked. "Uh, no one!" Minshana urgently yelled. "Come on," Raye-ko encouraged. "You can tell us." Minshana blushed and reluctantly said, "Prince Madagascar." The girls made a sly "ohhhhh??" after hearing that. "It's not surprising really," another random lioness said. "Yeah. Everyone of us wants to have Madagascar as a mate. He's kind, strong, and very sweet," Leigh-ko said. "Not to mention VERY cute! I really want him to touch me all over," a lioness added. "His brothers are pretty attractive, too. Dhahabu and Nova are handsome, too." "Yeah, but I rather be with Madagascar most of all." All the girls sighed lovesickly again except Minshana. She buried her head in her arms. "Hey, Minshana, what's wrong?" Jun asked. "You all have a chance to be Madagascar's mate, but I don't," Minshana answered. "Why do you say that? Of course you do," Raye-ko encouraged. "No, I don't. I'm too small. Who would want to be with a girl like me?" "Don't think Madagascar cares for looks alone," Leigh-ko said. "Madagascar wants someone who is trusting and sincere. Looks aren't the only thing he looks for." "You think so?" Minshana asked, suddenly feeling better. "Yeah, but you'll have to get past me first!" Leigh-ko declared proudly. Then, everyone else said "Me, too!" and they all laughed, including Minshana. As the day began to pass, all the pridelanders went to rest in Firerock Mountain. As Madagascar was about to rest for the night, someone got his attention. It was Minshana. "Hey, Minshana," Madagascar greeted politely. "Hi, Madagascar," Minshana timidly greeted back. "Please, everyone calls me Madaga for short. Call me that." "Okay then. Um, Madaga?" "Yes?" "May I...sleep next to you tonight?" she reluctantly asked, expecting a turndown. But, Minshana was proven wrong after Madagascar answered, "Sure." Minshana smiled cheerfully and gently laided down beside Madagascar. "All the girls got to sleep next to you, but I never had a chance," Minshana said. "I see. Well, I've got your chance at last." Minshana sighed happily, but got suddenly surprised when Madagascar kissed her cheek! Minshana looked into Madagascar's eyes while she blushed. "It would be a great pleasure for me if you sleep near me," Madagascar said. Minshana's heart raced with an arousing sensation. Minshana realized that Madagascar expected a returning kiss on his cheek. Minshana was shaking as she moved in to his cheek. Then, Minshana planted a soft kiss on Madagascar's cheek. Minshana's nerves pulsed as she felt so relaxed after the kiss. Then, Minshana said, "Likewise, dear prince." After a while, Madagascar went to sleep. Minshana didn't fall to sleep just yet. She stared lovingly at him as he slept soundly. Minshana got closer to Madagascar and buried herself in his fur coat. Madagascar purred softly in his sleep as he felt Minshana's soft body. With a passionate smile, Minshana went to sleep beside Madagascar... ****************************Eyecatch 13: The Tiger of Agility, Kariba************************************* ****************************Eyecatch 14: The Lion of Love, Maseru************************************* Five years later, all the adolescent lions and lionesses grew to their adult stage. Madagascar's brothers, Dhahabu and Nova, left their homes to make their pride elsewhere. Dhahabu made his kingdom somewhere in East Africa and Nova's whereabouts are unknown. Madagascar's exploits were admired by all. He has saved his future kingdom many times from intruders. He was also a great leader to his friends and a superb hunter that no one ever went hungry when a trought or a monsoon passes over the lands. Madagascar, as an adult, was the biggest of all the lions. He grew to have a sleek, soft, and pure black mane. He was the strongest lion around Firerock Mountain and never met anyone who can beat him. Madagascar's mantlement ceremony wasn't too faraway, but he has yet to choose a queen to be alongside him. Madagascar couldn't decide which lioness he would want to mate because he likes all the girls. How can he pick one of them without hurting the others' feelings, he thought... Madagascar could always count on Lina and his other sister, Shinsha-ko, to help him with love and affections, so he talked to them about it. "So, in other words, I'm kinda shy to ask a girl I would possibly like but upsetting my other choices," Madagascar said. "Brother Madaga, don't be discouraged or you're gonna upset your reputation here," Lina said. "Look, it's not the matter that you would hurt the other girls' feelings." "What do you mean?" "Boy, you're clueless about love, aren't ya?" Lina asked comically. "Well, that's like the only thing I don't know. Father and I never really got around to talk about this. You know how busy he is." "I see. So, you're still a young seed that needs to grow," Shinsha-ko said while holding Madagascar's cheek. "Oh, stop. That's embarrassing," Madagascar said, blushing. "Okay, seriously, all you need to worry about is how much you love this girl. All that matters is how much you feel about this girl over everyone else. Don't feel sorry about the ones you didn't pick. Besides, in a way, you'll mate all of them so they'll be your pride members. All you're doing is picking one of them to be the queen," Lina explained. "Sure, it may be a greater honor than being a pride member, but if someone isn't grateful about your decision, it's their own problem," Shinsha-ko added. "I see," Madagascar murmured. "I trust that you will pick the right lioness for you," Lina added with a wink. "I will. I promise you. Thank you, Sister Lina, Sister Shinsha-ko." Lina smiled proudly and the siblings nuzzled each other. Then, Shinsha-ko got to nuzzle Madagascar full length. "Hey, Lina, don't I get a nuzzle?" someone said. Madagascar, Shinsha-ko, and Lina looked out the cave entrance and sees a familiar, fully red-maned lion. "Havon!" Lina cried. Lina pads up to Havon and nuzzled him lovingly. "Ready to go?" Havon asked. "Yes, my gentle lover," Lina answered softly. "Where are two off to?" Madagascar asked curiously. "Lina is sexually receptive now," Havon asked, "so I guess we're ready to do it together." "Oh, I see. Well, take care of her, pal. I put my trust to the right lion, right?" Shinsha-ko asked sternly. "Yes, yes. You can trust me. I'm Madaga's best friend, after all," Havon answered worriedly. Shinsha-ko never really liked the thought of her brother's closest friend mating her sister, but they looked so happy together. "Fine, then. Sister Lina, be good to him." "Don't worry. I will," Lina said seductively. "Come on, my lover." Havon and Lina walked off together with Madagascar watching them leave. Then, Shinsha-ko nuzzled Madagascar again. "What is it?" Madagascar asked. "Let's go find the girl for you." "Oh, okay." Then, Madagascar and Shinsha-ko left Firerock Mountain side to side. After the sun reached its peak in the sky, Madagascar and Shinsha-ko soon was gone in another part of the pridelands. They soon made it to a rocky canyon where they see a pride's sleeping ground. Then, Shinsha-ko nuzzled Madagascar again with a strong purr. "Shinsha-ko, what's on your mind?" Madagascar asked. "Sorry. I just couldn't forget about you playing with me to train me better when I meet my special someone out there. It was fun," Shinsha-ko answered. "Yes, it was. But, can you please try to control yourself?" "Right. I'm sorry." "Aw, don't be. I know you yearn for a mate so badly that your body can't take it. You'll find him; don't worry." Shinsha-ko nodded and walked down the side path of the wall with Madagascar following. The members of the pride soon saw Madagascar and Shinsha-ko coming and got excited. The lions greeted them cheerfully and invited them inside their large cave. The two siblings looked about the cave and walked their separate ways. As Shinsha-ko looked about, almost all the lions around her were looking at her suggestively. It made Shinsha-ko happy that she's attractive. Then, someone called to her. "Shinsha-ko!" Shinsha-ko looked to her right and saw Koji padding up to her. "Oh, hi, Koji. Where's Kagi? Have you two come again to fight over me?" Shinsha-ko asked gently. "Well, um, Kagi is...um...well, hasn't anyone told you?" Koji stammered. "Told me what?" Madagascar walked about, getting greetings from the lions and nuzzles from the lionesses. Then, due to not paying attention, he bumps into someone. It was Minshasa! "Minshasa!" Madagascar gasped. "M...Madaga!" Minshasa yelped in surprise. "I didn't know you was with this pride." "Well, yes, I am. I'm here with my mother." "Really?" "Yes. So..., what are you here for?" "Just here to visit. Um, can I ask you something...outside?" "Ask me? Well, okay." So, Madagascar and Minshasa walked together outside. Minshasa wasn't sure what was happening, but something from Madagascar's smile and distant teases from her friends told her that her life would change. Afterwhile, Shinsha-ko looked in sadness toward Koji, who was in tears. "Kagi's dead?" Shinsha-ko asked. "Yes," Koji answered in a cracked voice. "Something took him away from this world. No one knows how he died, but someone or something murdered him. All was left was a black feather." Then, Koji sobbed to himself. Shinsha-ko felt very sad and sympathetic towards Koji, for she found out that she completely misunderstood him as a hounding, careless lion. But, she now pictures him as a emotional, caring person who lost his best friend. As Koji continued to sob, he rubbed his tears away and looked to Shinsha-ko. "I came to you, so I could ask you to be my mate, not just for me, but for my friend," Koji said. Shinsha-ko looked at him with tear-bearing eyes. She couldn't refuse his offer, so she found herself nuzzling Koji, catching him off-guard. "Koji, I understand you. I'm so sorry. I'll do anything to sooth you of your pain. I'll be yours, as you wish." Koji was surprised to see this side of Shinsha-ko and felt himself shaking with fear and happiness. Shinsha-ko went to Koji's face and licked the tears from his eye patches. Then, they end up looking each other in the eye. "I love you, Shinsha," Koji said. "And I love you, Koji," Shinsha-ko replied tenderly. Then, they head-nuzzled with ease and gentle feeling. Meanwhile, Madagascar walked out with Minshasa, who was still confused on why he wanted to talk to her. Madagascar continued to bare his smile, but Minshasa was still clueless. Then, suddenly, Madagascar got close to her muzzle and brushed his against hers. "Minshasa, I have chosen you. Will you be my lover, my mate, my queen?" Madagascar finally asked. Minshasa was greatly surprised and found herself staring at him in amazement. Minshasa shook uncontrollably and was left stunned. Before she could say anything, Madagascar hushed her as he sensed something. Then, he told Minshasa to hide somewhere and she did, although she was confused. Madagascar looked in the air to see a giant silhouette of some kind of monster. Then, it flew down at Madagascar, but Madagascar was quick enough to avoid it. Madagascar looked to see that it's some kind of dark phoenix-like creature. "What is that?" Madagascar thought. The dark phoenix cried demonlike as it flew over again. Then, Koji and Shinsha-ko ran out the cave and stood beside Madagascar. "Wh..wh...what is heck is that?!" Shinsha-ko said. Koji looked in surprise at the beast as he saw black feathers on it. Then, Koji's temper began to rise. "Koji?" Madagascar wondered. "That beast...! You're the one who kill Kagi!! I shall murder you like you murdered him!!!" Koji roared. Then, he flew to the air, with Madagascar yelling after him. "No, Koji, come back here!" Koji didn't listen and he gathered energy in his paws and fired an energy blast at the beast. The phoenix cried as it felt the blast and used his wing to slap Koji down to the ground hard. Shinsha-ko ran to his aid almost immediately. Madagascar growled and flew at the phoenix. Minshasa trembled in fear, worried for Madagascar. Madagascar then shot a barrage of energy blasts on the beast. The phoenix flew angrily towards Madagascar, but Madagascar flew out of the way and shot more blasts on its back. The phoenix flew back and threw its wing towards the brave lion, but Madagascar shot the wing, injuring it. The phoenix flew away from Madagascar, but, before Madagascar could react, its other wing accidently strikes Madagascar's paw hard. Madagascar roared in pain as he grabbed his wound. His paw was still intact, but it bleed terribly. Koji, nursed by Shinsha-ko, looked up towards Madagascar in a determined expression. "Come on, pal. Kill that blasted beast for me," he thought. All the other lions of the pride were, at that time, out watching the battle. Shinsha-ko looked around towards where Minshasa was hiding, but she was gone. "Huh? Where did she go?" she thought. The black phoenix circled around and flew towards Madagascar again. Madagascar avoided him, but couldn't fire energy at him because his paw hurts that much. Away from him, atop the gorge cliff, Minshasa watched Madagascar, no longer scared, but lovingly. "Madaga dear, take this power I give you," she whispered. Then, white pure energy flowed from her body and, after reaching its zenith, she shoots it at Madagascar. Madagascar, who didn't notice, got consumed in the white energy. Madagascar didn't know what was happening until he sees Minshasa's beautiful smile. Madagascar then smiled and murmured, "Thank you." Then, as the phoenix flew back, Madagascar shot the pure energy at the beast. The energy then enter its body and nothing happened. Everyone was silent, awaiting an outcome, even the black phoenix. Then, suddenly, white energy beams burned through the beast. The black phoenix cried and cried as the pure white energy fed on its black heart. Then, the black feathers began to turn white. Without the darkness, the black phoenx died and took on its original form: a beautiful, gentle, white phoenix. Everyone looked in amazement and awe at the new creature. Minshasa smiled tenderly as she looked toward the phoenix. "Oh, I see. Darkness must have somehow corrupted this creature and turned into a black phoenix," Madagscar said. Koji still held on to the black feather he had. After he looked at it, the black feather faded to white and shone brightly. The feather flew from his paw and it started to take on a form, the form of Kagi! Koji gasped and tears welled up in his eyes. Before Kagi could say anything, Koji hugged him tightly. "Kagi, you came back! Thank goodness!" Koji cried. "Uh, Koji?" Kagi tried to say. Shinsha-ko hushed Kagi and gently kissed him. "Just be proud that he missed you that much," she whispered. Kagi sighed and half smiled. "I guess." Minshasa flew to Madagascar and hugged him. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah, thanks to you. I didn't know you was capable of such white magic." "I've...been hiding it for some time now." "Well, revealing it was the best thing to do. Your white magic saved us." Minshasa smiled and blushed happily and she fondly kissed Madagascar in his lips. The white phoenix cried once more and flew to the air and disappeared in a white star. As the night sky appeared, everyone started to go to sleep. Koji and Shinsha-ko walked out together shortly after everyone was asleep. But, atop the pride's sleeping ground, Madagascar and Minshasa looked towards the moon together. Minshasa looked toward Madagascar's injured paw and nuzzled Madagascar lovingly. "Is your wound okay?" she asked sympathetically. "It's getting better. Thanks for asking," Madagascar answered, licking her cheek. "I'm really honored to be your mate, Madaga. I know I'm not the most attractive lioness around." "What do you mean? You're very beautiful, at least in my eyes." "You mean it?" "Of course. You'll be a fine mate for me. And vice versa." "Oh, I can imagine," Minshasa giggled. Madagascar kissed Minshasa on her muzzle and Minshasa gave one back and they head-nuzzled each other. "Beloved, may I love you tonight?" Madagascar asked gently. "I thought you would never ask," Minshasa answered softly. And so, Madagascar and Minshasa began to express their love under the beautiful moonlight... And that is the story of how Madagascar found his lover, his mate, and your mother... to be continued... They are a large group of hyper-evolved cross between a hornbill, a human, and a garuda. They worship every god there is. They are the only clan that ever encountered humans, so they possess several humanlike objects. Great pleasures in both peace and exotic bathing is all the Garudians ever want. But, ever since the war began, the Garudians show a side never seen before... Episode 8:"Give Peace a Chance!" At the Garudians' homeland, Ghana was having a conference with Mali and some other Garudian elders in Ghana's throne room. "Well, we've recovered one of the Lion Orbs," one elder said. "But, still, we're in danger with the other five out there." "Yes, I know," Ghana replied. "Should we go out and challenge our foes in battle instead of waiting for them to come to us?" "That's a wise choice. Merely waiting will lessen the chances of us winning this war and the Lion Orbs," another elder said. "I'm not sure about that. Our foes are very powerful that previously thought. We may throw away our lives." "If we thought that, we are weaklings. We made an assault on the Black Lions before with surprising results." "He's right," Mali said. "Even though we lost our prisoners, that assault was a complete success. If we could do that, we can do it again." "Well said, Mali," Ghana praised. "Then, I say we assault one of our enemies once again." "Yes, but rumor has it that the Black Lions are missing from the lands at this time." "The Black Lions aren't our only enemies. There's still the Gold Lions, who we haven't saw yet, and the Silver Striped Tigers," Ghana said. Meanwhile, Victoria was in her room, searching through her closet. She had nothing on her except a golden necklace. Then, Sahara walked in with warrior's clothing on. Without turning around, Victoria said to Sahara, "Done exercising?" "For right now," Sahara answered. "Is Ghana done with his conference to tell us of our next move?" "Not yet," Victoria said. "Be more patient." "Right," Sahara sighed. Sahara then layed down on the bed and watched Victoria. Victoria looked to Sahara and smiled lightly. "Is there anything I can help you with to pass the time?" she asked. "No, that's fine." Victoria then continued to search through her closet. Sahara rested her head atop her arms and started to lose herself in thought. When she looked at the pillow of her bed, she saw Double. She sighed softly and smiled lightly. Then, she got up and look in the mirror across the foot of the bed. She smiled proudly at how pretty she is and Double would love such a beauty. She sighed once again contently. Victoria looked at her curiously. "Is anything wrong?" Victoria asked. "Nothing is wrong. Everything with me is wonderful," Sahara answered. "Well, as long as you're happy. But, by that expression, you almost look...feminine." Sahara looked at Victoria with a bright red blush and turned to her. "What are you looking for?" "My red velvet dress. While Ghana's gone, I'll be taking care of the palace. I want to look the part," Victoria answered. "Shouldn't you bathe yourself first?" Sahara suggested. "Well, maybe I should, now that I think about it. But, I better make it a quick one. Thank you." Victoria pulled her dress out the closet and ran out the room, leaving Sahara alone. Sahara exhaled softly and walked out the room as well. Then, before she went far, Mali stopped beside her. "Sahara, glad I found you!" "What is it?" Sahara asked. "Ghana wants us to go out for a new assault on the Gold Lions! I'm getting all the warriors ready! But, he's going to talk with the leaders first. Best you get ready, too, 'kay?" "Right." Then, Mali ran off down the hall. Sahara made a fierce expression punched the inside of her left palm. "Time to fight!" she thought. At Firerock Mountain, Mohatu was standing on his hind legs and punched through air, training himself. Then, he released a round kick and punched through the air once again. As he trained himself, Congo, Zambia, and Maseru talked with one another. "Look at Mohatu go," Maseru awed. "He sure looks strong." "Yes, he is," Congo added. "He'll be our strongest fighter yet." "I have to agree. Now, I'm actually looking forward to sparring with him," Zambia said. "Are you gonna give him all you got?" Maseru asked. "Well, it depends. If he's stronger than he's letting on right now, I will." Afterwards, Mohatu stopped training himself and looked to Zambia. "Zambia, may you spar with me now?" Mohatu asked. Zambia then stood up and walked in front of Mohatu. She stands on her hind legs and faced Mohatu. "Yes, I will spar with you, Mohatu, sir," Zambia answered. Mohatu nods and readies himself in a fighting stance. Then, Zambia repeats him. They stood in front of each other with silence surrounding them. Congo and Maseru were silent, watching the two lions focusly. Then, after Mohatu shouts "Go!", the lions leaped at each other and punched each other in the face simultaneously. Then, they threw punches and kicks at each other. Congo and Maseru only stared in amazement. Mohatu and Zambia continued to throw attacks against each other. After a while, Zambia found a breakthrough and pawed Mohatu in the face. But, Mohatu pawed her back hard. Zambia charged at Mohatu and punched at him, but Mohatu caught her fist. The two lions growled at each other and backed away from each other and charged at each other again and fought. "Wow, impressive. And they aren't fighting in their maximum," Congo said. "I wish I could be that strong," Maseru said. "We're strong, too, darling. We just need to train more, that's all." "I know." Mohatu and Zambia still went at it while Congo and Maseru talked. Then, Mohatu flew backwards shortly and shot a midair kick and hits Zambia in the side of her gut. Then, Mohatu pawed Zambia to the ground. With Zambia down on the ground, Mohatu bowed down back on all fours and walked beside Zambia. Zambia gets back up and looked to Mohatu with a smile. "Is that all you want, Mohatu?" Zambia asked. "Yes, that's good enough. Thank you," Mohatu answered. "No, thank you. I think a bit highly of you now." Zambia then felt Mohatu's mane and brushed her face in it. Mohatu purred and nuzzled Zambia's head. Zambia backed away from Mohatu and walked off. Congo and Maseru passed Mohatu to follow Zambia. "Well done, Mohatu," Congo said. Maseru gave Mohatu a friendly kiss and said, "You'll make a strong king." After they left, Mohatu began to walk off on his own, until someone shouted "Wait!". Mohatu looked behind him and saw Libya running after him. "Libya! What's up?" Mohatu greeted. "Nothing much," Libya said as she padded up to him. "It's quiet on enemy lines right now." "Guess they're up to something." "But, Kiaos and his clan has disappeared from Demon's Gorge recently. I'm worried about what his next plan will be." "Don't worry. I'm sure we can handle anything Kiaos can throw at us." "But, I can't help, but worry." "I bet you miss him, don't you?" "Well, yes. It's just not the same around here without him. But, he broke the law and deceived me. So, right now, that doesn't matter to me." "I see..." Then, Mohatu and Libya stood silent for a moment, until someone appeared away from them. Mohatu and Libya both sensed an incoming danger and looked ahead to find Ghana! Mohatu and Libya stood face to face with the strange bird-like creature. "Wh...who are you?" Libya asked. Mohatu looked at him closer and begins to recognize him. "Libya," Mohatu whispered, "I think this is Ghana, leader of the Garudians." Libya then looked at Ghana with a fierce growl. "Then, he's the enemy we never saw yet," Libya thought. Ghana stood his ground and smiled at the two lions. "So, you must be Queen Libya and Prince Mohatu," Ghana said. "I am Ghana, lord of the Garudians. I came to talk to the both of you." "About what? What's to discuss?" Mohatu replied. "We never saw each other yet until now. I have no information on your clan, only that you have one of our Lion Orbs." "Maybe we do have one. But, we don't plan to give it up to anyone we don't know," Libya said. Before they could continue, several of the pridelanders ran to Mohatu and Libya and growled at their intruder. "Who is this, your majesty?" one asked. "Is he the enemy?" "Yes, he is. That's Lord Ghana of the Garudians!" another said. "Better leave our home or else!" another threatened. Ghana smiled in amusement as he looked at the lions, then he looked toward their kingdom, Firerock Mountain. Obviously interested, Ghana ignores the lions' growls and looked to Libya. "Queen Libya, I don't wish to quarrel with you. I only ask that you would be so kind, but to give me the Lion Orb you have," Ghana asked. The lions growled louder at Ghana after hearing his request. Libya looked to her people, then back to Ghana. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I think of the welfare of my pride first and it seems that I would upset them if I accepted," Libya answered. "Oh, I see," Ghana said. "I suspect that you have recovered one of your Lion Orbs. So, once we fight you, that Lion Orb will be ours." "So, you wish to fight? Oh, how I wish that can be avoided," Ghana said sadly. "So be it. Before the sun reaches its pinnacle point in the sky, my clan will launch a massive attack on your kingdom for that orb. Understand?" "Understood," Libya agreed. Then, Ghana flew away from the lands. Libya watched him go, then looked back to her pride. "Well, our next battle will be with them, so train yourselves hard. It's not long until the sun reaches the top of the sky," Libya said. The lions agreed and walked off. Mohatu looked to Libya in discouragement. "Libya, I know we have to fight, but...," Mohatu started to say. "Don't worry, Mohatu. Before this day's over, we might have new allies," Libya said. "But, it requires you. So, can you do something for me?" "Huh?" ******************************Eyecatch 15: Lord of the Garudians, Ghana********************************* ****************************Eyecatch 16: Rwanda, Queen of the Black Lions******************************* Later that day, as the sun shone brightly from the pinnacle of the sky, the Gold Lions walked through the sandy desert towards the Garudians' holylands. On their opposite direction, Ghana and his Garudian warriors walked towards them. After several moments, they finally meet with each other face to face. "We really have no need to fight," Ghana said. "Sorry, but I'm afraid we do," Libya replied. Ghana frowned and readies himself to fight, as well as Sahara, Mali, and the other Garudians. Libya and the Gold Lions stood on their hind legs and got ready to fight as well. Zambia moved beside Libya to talk to her. "Your majesty, can we win?" she asked. "Of course," Libya answered. "But, where's Mohatu? He was gone before we all left." "I sent him on a special mission. He'll be here soon." Ghana brushed the sand with his foot and shouted "Fight!". Meanwhile, at the gate of the Holylands, two guards were there. Then, suddenly, something knocked them out. Mohatu appeared and looked at both of the unconscious guards. Then, he slowly opened the large doors and looked in. The streets were completely deserted. "Hmm, maybe because there's a fight outside, they evacuated somewhere," Mohatu thought. Then, Mohatu walked in and ran through the bare streets. Mohatu headed for the main building in the center of the Holylands. Back at the desert, the battle rages on. Many of the Garudians fought each of the Gold Lions separately and the rest gang up on one. But, the Gold Lions fought back superbly. While both clans fought each other, the clan leaders, Libya and Ghana battled each other. They both exchanged punches and kicks relentlessly. The clans continued to give it their all against each other, but who will be victorious? At the main building, Mohatu snuck behind two more guards and knocked them out as well. Mohatu sighed and enter the building. Mohatu heard conversation inside, so he prowled slowly through the corridors. "The queen," Mohatu murmured. "I must find the queen." Mohatu continued prowling around all the corridors, each time avoiding getting seen by the Garudian civilians. He also listened in their conversations, hoping to gather a clue where the queen may be. After hearing so much of the Garudians' worries, personal lives, and disturbing conversations, he finally overhears that the queen is bathing. So, Mohatu took his time to looked in each of the rooms in the halls to find anything they could possibly can bathe in. Then, Mohatu found a room with a large pool inside. "Wow. What a huge watering hole," Mohatu thought in amazement. Then, Mohatu walked in and looked around the room. As he looked, he got closer to the pool. He looked at the water and smelled it. Then, he sensed a source of energy inside the water. Mohatu looked further in the water and, sure enough, someone arised from the water with bright gold hair. It was Victoria! Victoria sighed as she shook her hair. Then, she stopped and looked to see Mohatu watching her. Then, in a panic, Victoria jumped from the water to stand up and..."Wh..who are you? What are you doing here?" Victoria asked. "Don't panic. I won't hurt you if you listen to me," Mohatu reassured. "Are you a Black Lion? You cruel beast!" "No, I'm not one of those traitors. I'm part of the Gold Lions." "The Gold Lions?" Back at the battlefield, Ghana flew at Libya fiercely, but he gets pawed hard in the face...him flying backwards. Libya charged to deliver another hit, but Ghana recovers and kicks Libya in the jaw...as she flew backwards. Libya recovers and threw quick and hard kicks and punches on Ghana. Ghana received damage from that, but he still managed to pound Libya with strong punches and ended it kicking Libya towards the ground. Libya landed on her four feet before crashing through the ground and flew up again. Ghana charged and headbutts Libya in the gut and forced her back. Libya recovers and elbow strikes Ghana in his face and kicked him away. As Ghana was thrown back by Libya's kick, Libya flew after him. It seems that Ghana was internally stunned, so Libya grabbed Ghana by his foot and threw him into the ground, crashing hard. Ghana gets back up afterwards, holding his head, and flew across the ground. Libya stopped in midair and shot several energy blasts after him. Ghana then disappeared from the line of energy blasts and reappeared beside Libya. Before Libya could react, Ghana punches Libya in the face, but Libya returned with a punch in Ghana's gut. Victoria, blushing, stood face to face at Mohatu frightened. "Why are you here?" Victoria asked. "I came for you," Mohatu answered. Victoria yelped and sunk into the water, trying to cry. Mohatu walked in the water and got close to Victoria. Victoria looked in fear at the brown-furred lion and backed away from him. "Isn't there a better way to end this war?" Victoria asked. Mohatu looked at her confused. "If you kill me, the Garudians will lose the war. Why do you want to hurt someone to win? All we want is peace, where nothing can hurt us and we live and die in a normal way, not just losing precious lives in battle! You murderous felines apparently don't believe that!" Mohatu looked at Victoria innocently. "I'm not here to kill you. I just wanted to talk to you," Mohatu said. "Wh...what? Talk to me?" "Yes. And you're right, your majesty. Peace should be given a chance. And that's what the Gold Lions and I are fighting for." "'Fighting for?' You mean, you understand us and our feelings?" "Well, we could, but both of our clans are fighting each other now." "But, if you believe our feelings, why are we fighting when we could be friends?" "That's the exact reason why I'm here. You might wanna get dressed and I'll explain." Victoria was unsure, but she felt a warm surge of goodness within this lion. With that, she finally smiled and stopped hiding her private parts and touched Mohatu's chest. "I am Duchess Victoria," Victoria finally greeted. Then, Mohatu finally smiled..."And I am Gold Lion Prince Mohatu." Back at the battleground, both clans began to tire from battle and both side panted with low energy left. Libya and Ghana flew back down to the ground and panted slowly as they still faced each other. They stood in focus toward their battered faces. Then, Libya looked above her and sees something. Ghana looked behind himself and sees a few people coming their way. It was four Garudians and a brown lion. "What? Victoria?" Ghana murmured. Libya smiled in triumph when she looked at the brown lion who was apparently Mohatu. The group landed and Victoria, in her red velvet dress, stepped forward while Mohatu and her escorts stood their ground. "Stop this battle at once!" Victoria demanded. All the ones who were still fighting immediately stopped and looked towards Victoria. Ghana cocked an eyebrow in confusion and walked to Victoria. "Darling, what is the meaning of this?!" Ghana said. "What is that lion doing with you?" "It is all right. He is a friend, as well as all the other Gold Lions," Victoria said. "What are you saying? Has that feline been playing tricks on you?" "No, he is of a sincere heart. What he has told me is the truth. Both of our clans have no reason to fight. We're both fighting for the same goal: for peace!" "Peace? But, they fight...for power." All the lions scowled at Ghana. "You and your clan fights for power, not us!" one lion said. "We fight to regain the peace we once had, but was taken away from one of our own!" Ghana was surprised at this revelation. Then, Libya walked beside Ghana. "When you said you didn't wish to fight earlier, I believed that you was being serious. But, to find out for sure, I had Mohatu secretly sneak inside your Holylands to speak with your mate to understand our intentions after winning the war. I knew you probably won't listen to me since I said we wanted to fight, so Victoria was my only option," Libya explained. "Can't you see, Ghana? We fight for the same cause, but we are all confused and not knowing of each other. Now that we know what each of us is fighting for, there's no point fighting amongst ourselves," Victoria said. Ghana was without words, for he knew Victoria was right. The lions and Garudians looked to each other, both sides seeming like they want to apologize to each other. Libya walked in front of Ghana and held her paw to him. Ghana looked at her paw, then at Libya. "What do you say, Ghana? Should we make ourselves a treaty and join forces?" Libya suggested. Ghana wasn't sure about it. He looked towards Victoria and his clan, who gave him a reassuring gesture. Then, he looked at Libya again, who gave him a warmhearted smile. Seeing Libya's sincerity, he couldn't resist no longer. With a bold grin, he dropped to his knees and grabbed Libya's paw and shook. "Yes," he finally said. The Gold Lions and the Garudians both agreed to join forces at last. They made a treaty that forever united them as long as the treaty is valid. Now that they joined together as friends and allies, they have two Lion Orbs. So, could victory shine on this unity? to be continued... (music ends) ************************************************************************************************ As the wind blew across the border of the shadowlands, Kiaos, Kinshasa, and their prides watched the horizon of the sunrise. "Kiaos, when will we strike our enemy?" Kinshasa asked. "As soon as possible. The Gold Lions won't know what hit them if we strike now," Kiaos answered. "By the time this day is over, Firerock Mountain will be under our control." "And I'll finally have my revenge," Kinshasa added with a soft chuckle. Kiaos grinned and looked to his side to find Rwanda. Then, Kiaos looked forward to watch the sunrise as his mane blew loosely in the wind... Episode 9:"The Black Lions' Supreme Victory" Libya rested on her side atop of Firerock Mountain, watching the sunrise. She had a stern look on her face. It seemed she's having a lot to think about. When she looked down to the bottom of the kingdom, she sees Mohatu walk out. He walked off by himself further into the pridelands. Libya was a bit frustrated, but she couldn't help but be curious. So, she got up and started to follow Mohatu. Mohatu continued to walk aimlessly into the lands with Libya following slowly behind him. Then, Mohatu stopped nd sat down. Libya stopped and hid behind a tree with bushes. She poked out her head and looked to watch Mohatu. Mohatu closed his eyes and bowed his head silently. Libya continued to watch him patiently. Then, an energy aura started to emit around the outline of his body. Then, Mohatu inhales and exhales repetitively and slowly. Libya felt Mohatu's energy go up and refused to look away. As Mohatu continued to inhale and exhale, he raised his head towards the sky. The energy suddenly gets larger and the ground began to shake. Little rocks floated as Mohatu's energy continues to rise. Then, Mohatu opened his eyes and he exploded in a white flash of power! Libya gasped as she felt the energy. The energy around Mohatu burned with vigorous ferocity. Then, inside the energy field, Mohatu raised his paws, claws unsheathed, and stretched them out in front of them. Then, with vein marks appearing over his tightened muscles, he roared with a clean scream. Then, the energy flew away from him into a giant energy wave. The wave shot across the land like a shooting star and disappeared over the horizon. After a while, a gargantuan explosion erupted. A sonic boom from the explosion roared back towards Mohatu and his mane was thrown in the wind as it past. Libya couldn't believe her eyes when she stared at Mohatu. "Wow. How long has he hid that power from me? I didn't realize he was this powerful," Libya thought. As his mane continued to be blown in the wind, Mohatu looked calmly and silently toward the smoke of the explosion, focused directly on his process... Meanwhile, Kiaos, Kinshasa, and their prides made it to Demon's Gorge. Kiaos looked about and growled for his pride to go inside the cave. Kinshasa tells the same for her pride, so both prides walked inside to await their orders. Soon, Kiaos and Kinshasa were left outside. The two lions walked to the side of the cave and rested in front of each other. "So, how should we go about this?" Kinshasa asked. "Not sure. But, we must make it perfect to destroy the Gold Lions," Kiaos answered. "But, one thing's for sure." "What?" "The lion, Mohatu, is mine. I've been watching him lately when I was with Libya's pride and I continuously felt enormous power emitting from him. I must know the full extent of his power if I want to know who I'm up against." "So, that energy we felt earlier..." "Yes, that must be him. So, we have to make time and launch an assault in some way they won't expect." "Well, Mohatu is their strongest pride member, am I right? So, I think we need him away from his pride for starters." "Yes, but how should I get him away from them?" Kiaos thought deeply of a solution for a while, then blinked as he thought of something. "I think I have it. Kinshasa, can I use some of your pride members?" "You have something?" "Yes," Kiaos answered with a following sly chuckle. Mohatu slept on the rocks of the den in Firerock Mountain. He softly snored as he moved his paws some. Then, Libya walked in and walked past Mohatu, but stopped to go back to him. Libya smiled with humor as she heard him snore and petted his mane. With that, Mohatu woke up and eyes Libya. "What is it, Libya?" he murmured softly. "Nothing. I thought you looked so cute when you're sleeping," Libya answered. "Oh, I see." Mohatu then stood up and stretched with a big yawn. "Have a nice nap?" Libya asked. "Of course." "You look so strong. You'll be a great king." "I know I will," he said confidently. "And all you lionesses will be all mine." As he said that, he playfully nuzzled around Libya and gave her a soft kiss on the side of her muzzle. Mohatu then walked off with Libya looking after him. Then, Libya smiled with light in her eyes. After a while, Mohatu walked on his own through the pridelands. "Maybe I shouldn't have done that to her," he thought. "But, hopefully, she took that as a friendship touch." Mohatu continued walking and walking like a lone soldier struggling through the battlefield. Then, a flock of birds flying through the sky caught his attention. "Wha? What's happening?" he thought. He looked ahead to where the birds are flying from. An aurora of energy filled the horizon. "What could that be? Ah, never mind that. It could be the enemy!" So, Mohatu flew to the air towards the aurora. Back at Firerock Mountain, Libya layed against the side of the cave opening and sighed in passion. She thought Mohatu: how wonderful a lion he is, how powerful, and how honorable. She was beginning to be very fond of him, but she has yet to realize it. She stood in a trance, but someone got her attention. It was Zambia. "Your highness! Trouble's brewing in the east!" she panicked. Libya then wore a serious expression and looked to see in the east another aurora different from where Mohatu's headed. "What is that?" Libya asked. "The enemy," Zambia growled. "Right! We must look into it at once!" Libya ordered. "Yes, ma'am!" Zambia ran to the back of the kingdom where the lions and lionesses rested and conversated and roared to them the emergency. Some of the lions and lionesses got up and ran after Zambia while the others stayed as the reserve group, which was about 9-12 lionesses. Zambia lead the group towards the aurora while Libya stayed behind. "I wonder where Mohatu is. He should be with them," she thought. "No matter. They should be enough to stop the assault from the enemy." Mohatu makes it to the mountainous site of the aurora and lands to look around. Ashes of the grass remained on the ground, indicating that there was an explosion of some kind recently. As he continued looking, he was shocked to find several plant eaters, laying dead. He looked in horror as he witnessed unnessessary deaths. "How cruel. Who could've done this?" he thought. Then, he heard growls from all directions. Then, six gray-furred lionesses jumped from their hiding places and attacked Mohatu. Mohatu was caught off-guard and, although he managed to hit two, all six lionesses deepened their fangs on Mohatu's body, keeping him trapped where he's standing. Mohatu roared in pain and struggled to get free. Then, he heard someone laugh. Mohatu looked to see that it was Kiaos! "Kiaos! I've should've known!" Mohatu growled angrily at Kiaos, only to be taunted. Kiaos walked towards Mohatu and smiled evilly at him. "Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Kiaos asked coyly. "What have you been doing this whole time?" Mohatu growled. "Oh, having sport with my other enemies, having fun with beautiful lionesses, and other things." "Ha! Very funny. So, what're you planning to do with me?" "Don't know. Maybe I have these darling lionesses beat you to death or I'll kill you myself. What do you think?" Mohatu answered Kiaos as he willed more power in his body and forces the lionesses off him and into the rocky walls. Kiaos chuckled slyly and crouches before Mohatu in a prowling stance. "So, you wish to dance with me?" Kiaos asked. "Yeah. I have plenty of gorgeous lionesses that I'll rule over anyway. But, I must say that I haven't seen those lionesses before. Who are they?" "I'm sure you already know that, but it doesn't matter because you're mine!" "Is that right?!" Then, Mohatu crouched and leaped at Mohatu ferociously!! ***************************Eyecatch 17: The Lion of the Red Eye, Congo********************************** ***************************Eyecatch 18: The Garudian of the Arts, Victoria********************************* Zambia and her group of Gold Lions raced through the lands relentlessly. After running for miles, Zambia spots something up ahead. It's Rwanda and a group of Black Lions resting upon a part of land they destroyed. Zambia grins as she thinks that they don't see her coming. "Everyone! The enemy is up ahead!" Zambia roared. Then, everyone charged and assault the Black Lions. Kiaos roared with the great ferocity of his energy aura as he leaped. Mohatu leaped at him as well and they both ended up headbutting each other. Both of the energy auras clashed to send sparks of lightning to the ground, exploding on contact. The lions backed away, leaped at each other, and headbutted again with the same result. Then, it happened again a 3rd, 4th, and 5th time. Then, Kiaos leaped over Mohatu and shot a kick at him, but is blocked with Mohatu returning with a punch, only to be avoided. Kiaos shifted upside down in midair and, propelled with his arms from the ground, upward dart kicked at Mohatu. Mohatu barely dodges and takes the advantage by kicking Kiaos up the gut, sending him upward. Kiaos recovers and faced Mohatu, who was running at him. Kiaos ducked under Mohatu and bucked him over him. But, Mohatu landed on the ground paws first and thrusted himself upward, avoided a sweep kick by Kiaos. Kiaos looked up to see Mohatu flipping in the air at him and ends up getting hammer punched in the face. Just as Mohatu tried to kick him, Kiaos recovered in time to catch Mohatu's leg and threw him into the mountain wall, breaking up the wall. Kiaos punched at Mohatu, but was left to punch the wall. Mohatu side-rolled past Kiaos to get behind him, but Kiaos around and Mohatu barely ducks his round kick. Then, with one leg from the ground, Mohatu pawed Kiaos' other leg to knock him off balance. Then, Mohatu grabs Kiaos' shoulders and thrusts him against the wall hard. Mohatu punches at him, but Kiaos leaped above Mohatu, landed right behind him, and shot an energy blast at him. Mohatu runs off and the blast hits the mountain and destroyed a 36.5 diameter of it. Kiaos kept on shooting energy blasts at Mohatu, but Mohatu ran away from it. Then, Mohatu turned around, deflected one energy blast to hit the mountain, and ran at Kiaos. Kiaos flew up and gather energy within his paws. "Shadow Paw!!" Kiaos roared. his attack of black energy soared at Mohatu and exploded on contact. The ground shook and smoke floated from the battlefield. Kiaos grinned and chuckled devilishly. "Oh, I think I like you, Mohatu," he said slyly. Mohatu stood his ground, unharmed from the attack, with a grin of his own. He apparently is enjoying himself. "And I you. I haven't had a scuffle like that in ages," Mohatu replied. Libya paced around the front of Firerock Mountain worriedly. "Oh, Mohatu, where are you now?" Libya thought. "You should be back already." Libya stopped and rubbed her arm in nervousness. Then, her ear picked up something and she looked ahead of her to see a pair of yellow eyes in the bushes..! The Gold Lions and the Black Lions battled with each other relentlessly. As they fought, Zambia squared off with Rwanda. Zambia growled fiercely as blood trailed from her face. Rwanda, bloodstained as well, growled back, but then she formed a grin and chuckled. "Well, we've won this battle and your precious kingdom is ours. You lose this war," Rwanda said. "What the heck are you talking about?!" Zambia roared. "Well, while you're busy with us and your beloved prince, Mohatu, busy with Kiaos, our true assault is already in hand." "What are you...?" Then, Zambia gasped in horror as she finally understood. Rwanda then smiled evilly. Kinshasa smiled evilly as she faced Libya, who was very surprised. "It's you," she murmured "ATTACK!!" Kinshasa roared. Then, she and the shadowlanders ran at Firerock Mountain. Libya only stared in disbelief. "The shadowlanders!" she thought. "So, that's where Kiaos has been!" Zambia then ran from Rwanda and roared at the other Gold Lions. "Everyone! Retreat to Firerock Mountain at once!! It's being attacked!!" Zambia roared desperately. With that, Zambia and the Gold Lions ran with all their might to the kingdom. Rwanda chuckled as she and the Black Lions followed. Back at Firerock Mountain, Libya roared for the rest of the lionesses. They answered and ran to her aid. The shadowlanders ran ferociously towards the lionesses with Kinshasa leading. "Finally, we shall have our revenge," Kinshasa thought. Kinshasa growled and flew at top speed from her pride and towards Libya. Libya frowned and got ready in time to catch Kinshasa and fought. The rest of the Gold Lions fought the shadowlanders but there were so many than them that the Gold Lions were easily beaten. In the air, Libya and Kinshasa faced each other in determined hate. Then, as they roared, their energy auras bursted out from them and as they collided, white light flashed. As the light faded, Libya and Kinshasa stormed off, fighting with punches and kicks. They battled over the Gold Lions and shadowlanders and they broke away, both ready to deliver a punch, and they both ended getting punched in the face simultaneously. Libya backed off with no minor injury, but Kinshasa was bleeding. Angered, she roared and charged Libya and punched her repetatively in the gut. As she was stunned, Kinshasa got behind Libya and caught her in a full nelson. Kinshasa laughed evilly as Libya struggled. "Now, I shall have my revenge. First, I'll let you witness seeing lifeless bodies of some of your weak followers," Kinshasa threatened. "You wouldn't dare!" Libya gasped. "Oh, certainly! Shadowlanders, finish it!" Then, one shadowlander who had a Gold Lions by her neck nodded and, with one hard pull...! The shadowlander lets go of the body...Libya's lips trembled as she began to get blue in the face. Then, most of the shadowlanders finished off the rest of them by either piercing through their chests with their paw...or suffocated them by the neck until they was one more left. The last Gold Lions wore fear on her face as the shadowlanders surrounded. Rhodesia slurped her muzzle and nodded to the other shadowlanders and they nodded back. Then, baring their fangs, they mercilessly assaulted the last Gold Lion and they began to feed on her! Libya watched in terror and tears trailed from her violet eyes. Kinshasa chuckled coyly and whispered her Libya's ear suggestively. "Guess what. You'll see them soon, for you're next to die...by my own paws." Libya then completely lost herself in temperment and breaks free from Kinshasa. "BLAST YOU!!" she roared angrilly. "Ticked off, are we?" Then, Libya charged aimlessly at Kinshasa. But, suddenly, Kinshasa held her paws toward her and shouted "Energy Field!!" Then, Libya got trapped inside an energy barrier, unable to move. "Now, farewell forever, Queen Libya," Kinshasa said. Then, with all her energy, she shot at the energy field and a flash of white light shone in the skies. As it faded, Libya, still trapped, was shot far away with the energy field in the form of a meteor. She disappeared over the horizon as the sun began to set, and, finally, an explosion was heard. A sonic boom roared back at Kinshasa and her tail was blown in the wind. She laughed triumphantly and evilly. "Finally, the queen is dead! Never again to hurt me! Ahahahahahahahahahahaha!!" Zambia and the other Gold Lions made it back to Firerock Mountain, but found that they were too late. Soon, they got surrounded by the shadowlanders. "The shadowlanders, here?!" Zambia murmured. Then, Maseru looked in terror as she looked to her right. "No. Our pride sisters," she murmured. Zambia and the others looked in terror to see some of their own slaughtered. Kinshasa floated down to the group and walked in front of Zambia. "Kinshasa!" "Yes, it is I. Your beloved queen and some of your pride sisters are all dead." "What? What have you done to Libya?!" Congo demanded. Kinshasa pointed to the puffs of smoke at the horizon. The Gold Lions looked in horror, fear, and disbelief at this outcome. "The plan to separate the strongest pride members and your beloved future king to leave Firerock Mountain vernerable worked perfectly. You behaved just as Kiaos predicted." Then, Rwanda and the Black Lions made it and aided the shadowlanders in surrounding the Gold Lions. "Now, you've lost the war and you're our prisoners and followers," Rwanda said. Everyone chuckled heartlessly at the Gold Lions. Congo hugged his frightened Maseru. The pridelanders growled in anger at their loss and bowed their heads. Zambia pawed at the ground as tears came to her eyes. "This can't be," she murmured. "But, you may have one hope left," Kinshasa said.
