Together, they had the force formidable enough to execute an impressive assault upon us. By splitting up Mohatu, the strongest pride members, and the reserve group and myself, our clan was stripped of our defense and lost many of our people. Libya, in anger of her losses, charged toward the leader of the gray lionesses, Kinshasa, but gets killed in the process. Now, I'm the only one left to defend the freedom of the Gold Lion, but I face Libya's evil brother, Kiaos... Episode 10: "The Garudians Loses Too?!" At Limestone Mountain, Zhao roared across the icelands. All his subjects were scattered around the land training. Then, as soon as they heard Zhao's roar, they ran from their private territory and ran toward the mountain. What could Zhao be planning next? At the mountain area, Mohatu and Kiaos still rage on in battle! Mohatu shot a right hook at Kiaos and lands it in Kiaos' jaw. Then, Kiaos returns with a left hook. As their energy clashed, the two lions threw and countered every move they had. The mountains crumbled as their energy eats them away. After a while, the fighters' paws clasped one another and pushed toward each other. As their arms trembled, Mohatu and Kiaos growled ferociously toward each other. Then, they break away and fought against each other once again, hitting each other with strong punches and kicks. Victoria lays on her back on her bed panting slowly. Ghana turned on the lights in the bedroom and smiled at his naked wife. Victoria smiled back at him ...Ghana walked towards Victoria ...Ghana pressed himself against Victoria to make her fall to her back and kissed her tenderly. Victoria wrapped her arms around his neck. "Darling, get dressed," Ghana said after pulling away from his kiss. "Yes, my lord," Victoria answered. Ghana got back up and walked from Victoria to get dressed. Sahara sat on her bed and sighed deeply as she was lost in thought. She thought of the day she and Double had sex. She remembered everything, but the more she thought about it, she began to feel more and more discouraged and uncomfortable. "Rosy, are you ashamed of me? Did you feel betrayed after Double fondled each of the assets God has gifted me?" Sahara thought. "But, I couldn't help it. I believe Double is good inside, but, still, he killed you. How can I forgive that?" As she continued to ponder, Victoria walked in the bedroom and sat next to Sahara. "What's the matter? You seem so sad," Victoria said softly. Sahara looked to Victoria and looked away. "Nothing. It's nothing at all," Sahara answered. "You're lying. Don't lie to me. You know I just hate that. Why can't you be honest with me? If you're worried that Ghana will not approve of your thoughts, I'm always there. I won't tell anyone else." "You wouldn't understand." Victoria felt hurt after she heard that comment. Then, in sudden force, Victoria violently nudged Sahara on the bed and mounted on top of her. Victoria grasped Sahara's breasts and pressed on them hard. Sahara cried in pain and grabbed Victoria's arms. Victoria looked at Sahara in anger and tears. "Sahara, please tell me. I'm your sister. I won't tell anyone else. I promise. Either tell me now, or I'll force you to tell me through rape!" "Okay, okay! I'll tell!" Sahara cried. "Stop it please!" Victoria then lets go of Sahara and lets her up. After she got up, Sahara cried and hugged Victoria. "I'm sorry. You're right. You're my sister. We should hide no secrets from each other," Sahara murmured. Victoria hugged her back and brushed the back of her neck tenderly. Mali yawned as he sat in the waters of the hot spring. He scooped some water in his palm and splashed it on his face. As the water dripped from his face, Mali stared sleepily in the pool. "So tired," he thought. He looked toward his wing and examined it. "This hand...has caused so much pain to others. When will this accursed war end?" As Mali continued to sit in the hot spring, someone spied on him through the crack of the door. It was Cairo. "Everyone's so quiet and discouraged. Isn't there anything I can do?" he said to himself. Kiaos crashed into a mountain wall. Mohatu flew toward him with a giant roar. Before Mohatu could land his punch, Kiaos flew out the way. Mohatu was left punching the wall, and, while he was distracted, Kiaos kicked him away. Mohatu fell to his side, tired and weak. As Mohatu struggled to get back up, he stared at Kiaos while he panted. Kiaos walked toward his opponent without any signs of fatigue. "He's gotten so strong. I...don't think I'll be able to beat him," Mohatu thought. Kiaos walked and grinned an evil grin. Mohatu got back up and concentrated energy around his body. Kiaos continued to walk. Mohatu's white aura emitted violently as Mohatu growled ferociously. Kiaos still walked. Mohatu then roared at his pinnacle and released the energy into one large, massive laser blast. But, Kiaos walked right into the blast head on with a devilish smirk. The blast created a massive explosion and destroyed the entire island of the battle. As the debris cleared, tiny rocks fell from the sky to the water. Mohatu hovered above the water, panting after the enormous power he released. Then, at Mohatu's surprise after the smoke cleared, Kiaos was standing on what was left of the island, virtually unharmed. Mohatu couldn't believe it as his jaw trembled. "You missed me. You have to be faster than that. Victory is already in my grasp," Kiaos declared. Mohatu's legs trembled in fear. He was left frightened and scared of Kiaos and his nightmarish unlimited power. Then, in cowardly anger, Mohatu roared and charged at Kiaos. Then, Kiaos threw his arms forward and immediately shot an energy blast. Mohatu gets caught in the blast and, as he cried in defeat, the blast carried Mohatu far away over the horizon! Kiaos chuckled triumphantly. "It's over. Mohatu and Libya are now out of the way. Now, the Gold Lions belong to me!" The energy blast carried him several miles away from Kiaos. Mohatu was far too weak to cancel out the blast, so he was left to take the blast as it slowly ate away his spirit. Then, Mohatu mustered up the last of the strength he had left and pushed the blast in another direction. The blast fell to the ground away from Mohatu and made a huge explosion and smoke was visible in the background. Mohatu panted as he stared at the smoke. Then, he groaned and fell from the air. He landed on a rock in the sea and fell unconscious. After a while of laying on the rock, blood trailed from Mohatu's underbelly into the water. Mohatu was dying. ************************Eyecatch 19: The Garudian of Childish, Cairo************************** ************************Eyecatch 20: The Tiger of Trickery, Lagos**************************** Outside the border of the Garudians' homeland, the Silver-Striped Tigers were in groups at different positions. 50 yards apart and away from the border, each of the groups growled in anxiousness. In front of the main entrance, Zhao, Zaire, and Bambari were on guard. "Zaire, are you ready?" Zhao asked. Zaire nodded in confirmation. Zhao looked to Bambari, and Bambari nods to him. The male tigers then looked back toward the entrance. On the top of the entrance door, there were guards looking out for intruders. There were two guards; one looked to the left and the other looked to the right. The right guard looked around the border. Suddenly, a strange light appeared on the border. The guard sees and looks at it in confusion. Then, he got the other guard's attention and they both spied on the light. The light was so strangely enticing that they couldn't look away. Then, the guards yawned in sudden drowsiness, and then, after a few moments, the guards fell to their side fast asleep. Outside the border, Kariba was emitting a blue light through her paws. Then, she powered down and the light dissipated. "They're asleep," she said to Lagos. "Excellent, Kariba," Lagos praised. Kariba and Lagos chuckled together triumphantly. Back inside the Garudian synagogue, Victoria looked in disbelief at Sahara. It seemed like Sahara has finally admitted her secret. "Sahara, are you serious?" Victoria asked. "I'm... afraid so," Sahara said. "Sahara, how could you?" "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help. I guess my hormones were not under control at that time because I was uncomfortable with Ghana." "But, with a member of the Black Lions?" Victoria asked. "I don't know. Either it's my hormones or I really like him." "I'm afraid I'll never understand this, Sahara. When you do something like this, Ghana should know about this." "No! Please don't tell him now! If he finds out now, he'll kill me for betrayal. Promise me you won't tell," Sahara pleaded. "I didn't say I wouldn't," Victoria sighed. "We'll keep this between us... for now." "Thank you," Sahara thanked happily. Sahara then hugged with Victoria and met in a kiss. Then, an explosion was barely heard outside, surprising Victoria and Sahara. "What was that?!" Sahara wondered. Victoria and Sahara ran outside the synagogue, where they meet with Ghana. Ghana looked in disbelief ahead of him. Victoria and Sahara looked and gasped. Half of the Garudians' homeland was completely obliterated! Fire and smoke rose towards the skies, blocking the light of the sun. Ghana looked in terror; not only has most of his home is lost, most of his people around there were slain. Then, Ghana blinked as he noticed something. Several figures were walking out of the smoke. It was Zhao, Bambari, Zaire, and a few more tigers were visible. Ghana gasped and glared at the tigers in anger. The tigers continued to walk until Ghana flew before them. Zhao grinned devilishly in the blaze of the fire at Ghana. "Blast you! How can you do this?!!" Ghana shouted angrily. "Ha! It was nothing personal, but we have a war to win," Zhao said. Victoria and Sahara ran to Ghana's side and confronted the tigers. "You'll never take us!" Sahara declared. "That's right!" Victoria agreed. "Your evil kind will not be the one to win this war!" "Your words are meaningless. You're all finished," Zhao replied. "Your people are in no position to help at all, because they are weak." "What do you mean?!" Ghana demanded. "Your people around here are dead. And the rest of your people are under siege by the rest of our clan. They can't move from their position." Around the other part of the land, Lagos, Kariba, and the rest of Zhao's clan were scattered about, capturing the Garudians in their current position. Most of the Garudians cowered in fear while the others tried to oppose the tigers. One Garudian even foolishly leapt at Lagos. But, in a ruthless manner, Lagos hits him in midair to the ground. The Garudian struggled to get up, but Lagos grasped his fangs in the Garudian's neck ... the Garudians cried in terror, defenseless, at the loss of one of their own. Zhao grinned at Ghana in triumph. "Your clan and your Lion Orb is mine, Ghana. Your fighters and your beautiful lovers are mine. All you need to do is surrender to me or fight me and be shot to Hell," Zhao threatened. "I'll never surrender," Ghana replied. "If it's to save what's left of my people, then I'll fight you." "As you wish. But, I've warned you." "Ghana...," Victoria and Sahara murmured. Ghana then charged at Zhao with all his strength! Ghana threw a wild punch at Zhao, but Zhao dodged the punch. Ghana threw another punch, but Zhao once again dodged. Ghana kicked, but Zhao caught the kick. Ghana leaps back and growled at Zhao. Zhao barely budged and looked menacingly toward his opponent. Ghana pulled his arm back and gathered large amounts of energy in his palm. White light sparked as the attack was reaching its pinnacle. "White Shine!!" Ghana cried. The white energy beam Ghana has shot flew towards Zhao. But, Zhao slowly called up a faint energy aura around him. As Ghana's White Shine attack connected with Zhao's aura, the energy beam bounced off the aura and into the air. Zhao smiled as the attack exploded in midair. "That attack was nothing, as you can see," Zhao said slyly. Ghana looked in disbelief, along with Victoria and Sahara. Zhao then raised his paw and extended one claw towards Ghana. "I've warned you. And you dare to attack the Tiger King, the most important creature of all the worlds?" Zhao said. Then, little energy gathered in the claw. "DIE!!" Zhao roared. Then, before Ghana could react, Zhao shot a small energy beam through his claw and pierces through Ghana! Ghana gasped as he felt the beam go through him. Then, Ghana cried in extreme pain and agony. Victoria and Sahara gasped in terror. Ghana then fell to his knees, then on the ground, seemingly lifeless. A puddle of blood started to flow from Ghana. Ghana is dead. In great shock, Victoria looked toward her dead mate with tears in her eyes. Then, she dropped to her knees and cried to herself. "Ghana...," she sobbed. As Victoria cried, Sahara looked in terror, her chin trembling. "Ghana...you can't be...not before I could've told you...," Sahara stuttered. Then, as tears trailed from her eyes, Sahara gave Zhao a cold stare. "What's wrong? Are you going to fight me next?" Zhao wondered coyly. "You can either just surrender and be one of my many mates or die by my paws like him." "Why you! I have to live a lie that I've hid away from Ghana now that you've killed him. I'll never forgive you." Sahara cried and committed a mad rush at Zhao, desperate to kill Zhao. But, Zhao only shot an energy ball at Sahara and pushed her back into the fire! Victoria gasped as she saw Sahara disappear in the fire. "No!" Victoria cried. But, Sahara walked out of the fire weakly, with her clothes burnt from the fire. Sahara made a frown like a devil in the fire. But, Sahara got weary from the combination of Zhao's energy and the fire and past out. Victoria trembled in complete sadness, her heart and soul broken over her loss. Zhao pointed his arm towards Sahara, ready to kill her off. "Goodbye, weakling," Zhao murmured. "Stop!" Zhao looked toward Victoria, who called out to him. "Please, no more. You win. I give up," Victoria pleaded through her sobs. "You give up?" Zhao repeated. "Yes. My mate...our leader is dead; our clan is yours. I'm yours. Just don't kill anymore of our people. Please." Victoria crawled towards Zhao and bowed to him. Victoria has completely given up. Sahara tried to get up, but she couldn't. She didn't want Victoria to give in, but she had no strength to stop her. Zhao finally smiled gently and cupped his paw under Victoria's chin and made her raise her head. Zhao and Victoria looked each other in the eye solemnly. "You have made the right decision," Zhao whispered seductively. So, as the smoke from the fire continued to fill the sky, the battle has ended with the Garudians' peaceful prosperity dead along with Ghana... to be continued... As water splashed back and forth, in the water, was a trail of blood. The blood's source was at a rock not too far from the shore. On top of the rock was an angling Mohatu. Mohatu panted weakly, slowly dying. He opened his eyes weakly and blinked. "L...Libya...I'm...so....so...so sorry," he murmured. Then, Mohatu passed out, waiting to meet with the Great Kings.... without ever being a king... Episode 11: "The Last Hope" Meanwhile, at the sand dunes of the pridelands, there was a huge crater where Libya unfortunately was put to rest. The wind blew and little sandstorms passed by. Suddenly, after several moments of blustery silence, a paw arose from the center of the crater, stained with blood. Many seconds passed once again and then someone rose from the deep layers of the sand. It was Libya, alive and partially well!! Libya, her fur mixed with sand and blood and half of her visible, panted very solemnly and nearly cried of her pain. She coughed up sand, for she dug through several layers of sand to reach the surface! Then, Libya found the strength to finally pull her bottom half out from the sand. She walked with her legs trembling terribly and barely taking a step. She panted wildly as she walked. Then, she fell to her side and panted some more. Then, she started to control her labored breathing and calmed down. The wind blew to pick up sand and it passed over Libya softly. Then, an image appeared before Libya. A mirage, she thought. Then, it slowly formed an image of a lion. She gasped as she recognized the lion. It wasn't Mohatu, but it was someone from her past. The lion gave a gentle smile at Libya, who was shocked at the transparent image. "You..." she murmured. Then, the lion walked towards Libya slowly. Libya began to shed tears of happiness. "You...saved me again," Libya continued. Then, the lion lies down in front of Libya, still showing his gentle smile. "Your spirit of the desert still wants me to live on." Then, Libya crawled a bit closer to the lion and started for a kiss. After several moments, before she could finally touch his lips, the image disappeared in the form of sand. But, Libya smiled tenderly with light in her eyes. "Shurito..." she whispered. Then, she passed out with her smile still intact. Then, a shadow appeared over her... Back at the ocean, Mohatu still rested on the rock. Not too far from him was a small land of rock. But, after the ocean calmed down, singing was heard from the rock. A beautiful melody was soon audible. On the rocky land was a creature not seen from the land. Blue legs and a green tail was in the water. Blue human-like arms and hands were rested on the rocks, blocking the singing creature's genital area. The creature's breasts slowly swayed back and forth as the creature swayed. The creature's face revealed the face of a lioness but with long white hair atop her head, blown in the wind. This nude and majestic creature continued to sing her exotic melody with her eyes closed shut. The water seemed more beautiful with the combination of this anthropomorphic ocean lioness and her song. After she finished, the creature known as a "nymph" opened her eyes to reveal a light green color. Then, she looked from her distance and sees something on another rock. Curious, she jumped in the water quickly and swam towards the rock where Mohatu laid. The nymph rose from the water and looked closely at Mohatu. After she looked at his face, she blushed lightly. "Handsome," she murmured. Then, she sees the blood in the water and sees that it's coming from Mohatu. "Oh, poor dear. Don't worry; I'll help you." Then, the nymph took her hand and placed it on Mohatu's forehead. Then, Mohatu started to glow and, after a while, his body slowly healed and he looked good as new. Then, Mohatu started to move and he got up with widen eyes. "I'm alive?" he said. "Yes, because I've saved you." Mohatu then looked towards the nymph who still had her hand on Mohatu's forehead. Mohatu jumped up and panicked. He nearly fell in the water, but caught the rock with his front paws. The nymph giggled softly at Mohatu. "Wh..who or what are you? Are you a nymph?" Mohatu asked. "Yes, I am. The queen of all the ocean nymphs actually. My name is Neptune." Mohatu blinked and shook his head. "Am I dreaming?" he murmured. "No, you are not. I found you here dying, but I rescued you." "You're serious? You're actually Grand Ocean Duchess Neptune?" Neptune nodded with a gentle smile. Mohatu then got out of the water and bowed to Neptune. "Thank you, Lord Neptune. I'm in debt to you. My name is Mohatu Lionheart." "No need. I felt that you had pure intentions, so I couldn't let you die like that." "Thank you. All the stories I've heard about you were true after all. And you truly look beautiful." "Oh, flatterer! Many was told me that and it's not true," Neptune said with a giggle. "You're modest, I see. Even you know that you're absolutely gorgeous. Exactly how many have you did a favor to?" Neptune grinned as she read what Mohatu meant. "Countless. Would you like to be part of that?" "A very splendid offer indeed. But, if only I had the time...My pride is in grave danger and I must save them," Mohatu explained. "I see." "So, I must go." "Can I carry you across the water?" "No, thanks. I can fly. Farewell." But, as Mohatu tried to fly, he groaned and curled up. "What's wrong?" Neptune asked sympathetically. "Just...so...hungry..." Mohatu weakly answered. Without question, Neptune grabbed Mohatu and swam to take him across the ocean. Elsewhere, Libya laid down on a rock slab in what appears to be a cave. Libya slowly opened her eyes and she slowly rose up, groaning and holding her head. "God, I feel so tired," she murmured. Then, she looked about in surprise. "What th..? Where am I?!" She leaped and looked about. Then, she realized what she did and looked at herself. She's completely without injury!! "How could this be...?" Libya thought. "Ah, I see you're awake," someone said. Libya looked toward the opening of the cave and finds a handsome gold-furred lion with a brown mane. Libya backed away, unsure of this lion. "Now, don't do anything drastic. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm a friend, at least I hope so," he said sincerely. Libya didn't know what to think, but she had to trust him. "Did...did you bring me from...?" "The desert? Yes, I did. A couple of my followers and I saw a meteor-like energy wave fly by and explode, so we looked into it. That's where we found you." "Oh, I see now. I remember clearly. Thank you very much. My name is Libya." "Libya? That's the same name as the great Lion Queen of the Gold Lions! A distant cousin of mine!" "A cousin?" "My pride consists of Gold Lions as well, including a few rogues. I am King Bujumbura." "Bujumbura? Oh, I remember now! I last saw you as an adolescent! Well, hello! Nice to meet you again!" Bujumbura and Libya nuzzled proudly and looked to each other. "My, Libya, you've sure have grown and blossomed too. So beautiful," Bujumbura complimented. "And you gotten so big, too," she replied, purring suggestively. "But, how did you get here and so thrashed?" "It's a long story." "You can tell me all about it while we walked around to the back." So, Bujumbura and Libya walked out the cave and stopped at the promontory. Libya looked about and awed the lush lands beyond her cousin's kingdom. "Behold the rainlands," Bujumbura stated. "It's beautiful, just like I imagined. I never thought I would see this land." "Thank you." Bujumbura looked toward Libya and noticed a smell emitting from her. "Libya, how long have you been in your season?" Bujumbura asked. Libya jumped and looked toward Bujumbura. "What do you mean by that?" Libya asked. "Well, although it's faint, I can smell your sensual scent. And it smells like it's been floating around you quite a while." "So, what are you saying?" "Well, I'm kinda feeling uncomfortable that you might..." "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not going to do that to you if you don't want it. The thought might have crossed my mind several times, but..." "That's fine. Also, I can tell that it's almost out of your control to hold it in. Is there someone in particular that you want that badly?" "Oh, no! I've sworn off mating!" Libya said. "I'm afraid you're not that convincing. But, maybe we should talk about it later." Bujumbura turned around and walked off. Libya then followed him. ********************Eyecatch 3: Libya, the Queen of the Gold Lions***************************** ********************Eyecatch 21: Mali, the Garudian of Bravery******************************** As Bujumbura and Libya walked, a yellow-furred lioness appeared in front of them. She blushed terribly towards Bujumbura for some reason. Bujumbura smiled gently towards the lioness. "My dear Luanda," Bujumbura murmured. Bujumbura and Libya stopped in front of the lioness, who looked away. "Are you... finished with that lioness already?" Luanda asked. Bujumbura grinned, as he knew what she meant. "Don't worry, my love. You know I'm your one and only lover. I've just shown her the view of our lands. We didn't do anything else. You should've known better." Luanda looked back towards Bujumbura and smiled cheerfully. "Oh, forgive me! I knew I shouldn't doubt you." Luanda nuzzled under Bujumbura's chin and purred along with him. Libya smiled at the happy couple with pride. Luanda looked toward Libya and bowed her head before her. "I'm sorry if I offended you by thinking you were giving Bujumbura... " Luanda said apologetically. "That's okay. I'm not offended. Many girls accused me like that when I was younger. I am Libya, Queen of the kingdom of Fire Rock Mountain," Libya said. "Queen Libya of Fire Rock Mountain? My god! I never thought I'd meet you in person!" Luanda cried in surprise. Luanda bowed respectfully before Libya almost immediately. "Oh, your grand majesty, forgive my behavior," Luanda pleaded. "Oh, please, get back up. I've told you it's okay," Libya said amused. Luanda sat back up and nuzzled up to Bujumbura. "So, Libya, you've yet to answer this question. What happened to you before we found you?" Bujumbura asked. "You must have heard about the war by now, have you?" "Oh, the war further south of Africa?" "Yes. My pride is involved. In fact, we started it. My brother caused the whole thing." "I see." "But, if you're here, what of your pride?" Luanda asked. "Everyone should think that I'm dead. As long as they think I'm dead, the Gold Lions have lost the war to the Black Lions," Libya answered. "That's terrible," Bujumbura said. "So, your brother was the one who tried to kill you?" "No, it wasn't. It was Kinshasa. Kiaos teamed up with the shadowlanders," Libya corrected. "The shadowlanders...," Bujumbura repeated. "I see. With them on their side, the Black Lions could be tough to beat." Libya nodded in agreement. "It really showed when Kinshasa blasted me away. Now, my pride is suffering under Kiaos' command." "Libya, don't worry about it for now. Why not continue to rest a while?" Bujumbura offered. "You're right," Libya sighed. "I'll rest in your den if you don't mind." Libya then walked past Bujumbura and into the cave. Bujumbura looked toward Luanda. "Do you want to keep her company?" Bujumbura asked. "Yes." Luanda then walked in the cave with Libya. Inside the den, Libya was already making herself comfortable on a rock with a smooth surface. As she laid down, Libya looked up to see Luanda. "Um, m...may I join you?" Luanda asked. "Sure. Come here and rest beside me," Libya answered gently. Luanda then padded to Libya and rested beside her (Libya) right side. "Libya, what are you going to do now?" Luanda asked. "I'm not sure. I want to go back home, but I don't know what I can do on my own to save my pride," Libya said. "I see. Aren't there any strong lions in your pride?" "Well, I do have lions in my pride, but I'm pretty stronger than all of them." "Oh?" "Well, there is a lion in particular who's far stronger than I am. His name is Mohatu." "Mohatu...that sounds like the name of a great warrior." "He is. He's to be the king after I step down. He's the strongest of us all; he's like an angel who can do no wrong. The lionesses thoroughly respect him and looks forward to the day that Mohatu will gain a king's mating rights." "He sounds wonderful. I bet he's handsome too, huh?" "Oh, yes, he's almost...to die for," Libya whispered to herself. Then, Libya blinked widely and blushed. "Sounds like you really care for this Mohatu...," Luanda hinted. "Oh, it's nothing like that." "Is that right? I used to feel like that. I believed that I would never mate anyone because after my first affair, I was cheated and hurt. See this cut under my chin?" Libya looked to see under Luanda's chin a small scar. "My first love abused me terribly, but I didn't want to face the fact that he was a cruel beast because I loved him. Then, before my eyes, before we could mate each other, he...killed my father!" "Killed your father?" Libya repeated in surprise. "Yes. Then, he started to feel the need to kill anyone who opposes him. Then, I took things under my own paws and killed that monster with my fangs! After that day, I swore I would never fall in love again because I thought all lions are selfish pigs." "Most of them are. I'm sorry." "Well, until two years after that, I've been a traveler, a lone virgin walking through the sands of the Sahara. Every lion I crossed, I despised. Every lion that tried to seduce me, I loathe. But, soon, after I found myself in the Rainlands for a resting-place, I met Bujumbura, a prince of the kingdom. I still hated all lions, so Bujumbura had to go through a lot since he was assigned to be my aid. But, even after abusing him in every way possible, Bujumbura still aided my needs and always looked out for me. At first, it didn't phase me and thought he was just trying to get to me and hurt me, but, after a while, I felt he was being sincere in his actions. I even decided to stay in the pride for a while. The lions here were always hitting on me, but even when they meant well, I hated them. Then, my past came back to haunt me when a lion overcame me and nearly raped me. Then, Bujumbura came just in time to save me and had the lion banished for forced sexual offenses. It was then that I realized that Bujumbura was the lion that was hidden away from me for so long. I fell in love once again, and this time, I was truly happy. After he became the king, I became his loving queen." "That's so sweet. And after explaining that, I now understand why you thought Bujumbura and I were play around," Libya said. "In any case, I'm very happy for you. I think we can respect each other and become close friends." Libya placed her paw on Luanda and gave her a gentle smile. Luanda returned with a smile of her own. Meanwhile, at the shore of the sea, Mohatu started to walk off toward the west. Mohatu looked behind him to see Neptune wave to him and swam off. Mohatu smiled and finally started on his long journey back home. Back at the Rainlands, Libya and Luanda walked through the kingdom. "Your lands are beautiful, Luanda," Libya complimented. "I bet your lands are far more prettier," Luanda replied. "I suppose." "Girls!" someone shouted. Libya and Luanda stopped to see Bujumbura run toward them. After Bujumbura stopped before them, Libya wondered, "What's the matter?" "Well, I just thought of something," Bujumbura answered. "Huh?" "Libya, I have a perfect plan that you could consider." "You do?" "Yes, but let's discuss it over a feast." Around another part of the Rainlands, Bujumbura, Libya, and Luanda all ate upon three antelope that they caught. Savagely, they ripped tendons, flesh, and bones from their prey and chewed rather noisily. "Delicious," Libya said. "I don't think the antelope back home were as good as these are." "Urp! Uh, excuse me," Bujumbura apologized, embarrassed after internally burping. "Teehee! Bujumbura, I'm surprised!" Luanda teased coyly. Bujumbura chuckled weakly, blushing. Libya and Luanda giggled at him cheerfully. "Now, Bujumbura, what's this plan of yours?" Libya asked. "Oh, yeah. That's right. I was having so much fun I almost forgot," Bujumbura said. "Now then, Kiaos obviously recruited the Shadowlanders, making his clan more powerful and hard to handle. So, I suggest that you even the odds. Why not recruit another pride of your own?" "Well, that seems to be the only way to get the upper paw again, but I don't know anyone else." Libya then looked to see Bujumbura giving a hinting grin. After she read his expression, Libya jumped back. "Oh no. I couldn't ask you," Libya said. "Don't worry; I don't mind at all. My pride could help you out." "Bujumbura, are you sure?" Luanda asked, surprised. "I'm sure, dear. I feel that's what her fate shall hold." "Bujumbura, I can't. I thank you to the bottom of my heart for your assistance, but I...," Libya said. "I insist! Please, let us help. It's your only chance to save your pride," Bujumbura exclaimed. Libya only stared in opposition of Bujumbura's offer. "Libya, you know you can't do this on your own. If Kinshasa was able to nearly kill you before, how could you believe that won't happen again?" Bujumbura explained. "Libya, I know you oppose this move because you don't want any of us to be killed in the heat of battle because of you. You need not worry about that; as long as we fight for peace, we will all die trying." Libya looked at Bujumbura, still not sure. But, she knew Bujumbura is right about her situation. This was the only option available to her at that point. "Okay, King Bujumbura, Queen Luanda, it's your call. Will you help me?" Libya asked. "Yes," Bujumbura answered happily. "Yes, Queen Libya." "Likewise," Luanda added. "Thank you." The sun shone in brilliance over the Rainlands. Birds flew by in a huge flock in the skies like a huge cloud. Down below the heavens, Bujumbura and Luanda left Libya alone. After they left, Libya laid on her side and watched the horizon, all alone in the wilderness. Libya looked toward the direction where Fire Rock Mountain will be. As she frowned in fierce determination, Libya thought, "Kiaos, I'm coming back from the dead to end this battle of hell." to be continued... A few lionesses ran to settle with the crowd. Bujumbura continued to roar with Libya and Luanda right behind him. After all the lionesses gathered, Bujumbura ceased roaring and looked toward his subjects. The lionesses are silent, awaiting their king to speak. "Fellow pride members, hear me now for I have an important announcement! To my right, behold the Great Lion Queen of Fire Rock Mountain, Libya!" Bujumbura declared. Libya walked closer right beside Bujumbura. The lionesses gasped in surprise and talked amongst themselves. They were surprised that the greatest and most beautiful lioness ever to live was right before their eyes. Then, Bujumbura continued his speech. "Now, you must be wondering why she is here in the Rainlands. As most of you should know by now, Libya and her pride are involved in a devastating war of bloodshed. Her brother has turned against her, allied with the Shadowlanders, and sent her here nearly dead. Now, she asks us for our assistance in the war temporarily. I've already agreed to her terms, but I must now of your judgment. Will you be willing to kill or be killed in the heat of battle? Will you fight alongside the lioness we all respect? Let me hear your roars of approval!" Then, almost immediately, each of the lionesses roared her loudest in agreement. Bujumbura smiled and added, "Then, get ready to set out at once!" Bujumbura then roared with his pride, with Luanda joining him. Libya looked around and smiled with pride to the ones willing to help her. Then, Libya roared with the pride. Episode 12: "Suicidal Lover" In a lush, warm forest, Mohatu walked solemnly through the bushes in his path. Mohatu looked about, slurping his muzzle in thirst and hunger. Then, Mohatu stopped in his tracks and sniffed about. Mohatu then ran to follow the scent. The scent led him in front of a huge pool of water that looks to be 100 yards long. Mohatu smiled broadly and ran next to the water and drank from it. Pleased by its delicious, cold taste, Mohatu lied down on his underbelly and continued drinking big amounts of water. As Mohatu was drinking, a figure appeared behind him. Mohatu then sensed the figure behind him, stopped drinking, leapt to his feet, and turned around to growl fiercely. The figure that turned out to be a young lioness walked back in fear of Mohatu's growl. Mohatu stopped growling and looked at the lioness apologetically. "Oh, sorry to startle you, my dear," Mohatu said. The lioness then stopped cowering and weakly smiled at the large lion. "No, I'm sorry to get you going like that. May I take a sip with you?" the lioness asked. "Sure." Mohatu then continued slurping the water, and the lioness padded next to him to take little sips. The lions both drank silently with ripples trailing through the water. The lioness looked toward Mohatu while she drank. Mohatu then stopped drinking and looked toward her. The lioness blushed and had a gleam in her eyes. Mohatu stared in her blue, enticing eyes spellbound. "So, what brings you around here?" Mohatu asked with a gentle smile. "I...I'm a rogue," she answered. "Do you have a name?" "Surabaya." "Surabaya. That's a beautiful name for such an elegant beauty." Surabaya smiled at Mohatu, embarrassed by his compliment. "So, what's your name?" she asked. "Mohatu." "Your name is beautiful too, like you are." "Thanks. But, I do believe you're trying to hit on me." "Maybe I am." Surabaya then licked Mohatu's muzzle tenderly. Mohatu jumped back and looked at Surabaya in amusement. "Surabaya, we just met and you want me?" Mohatu asked. "Badly. You must be the most beautiful lion I ever laid eyes on," Surabaya whispered. Surabaya then padded up to Mohatu and nuzzled under his chin. Mohatu purred as he felt Surabaya's tannish fur. Surabaya then licked from his chin to his lips. Then, she kissed Mohatu tenderly. Mohatu pushed back and looked at Surabaya worriedly. "Are you sure? I can make you part of my future pride, but do you want it?" he asked. "You're so cruel. Of course I want it. I want to be part of your pride," Surabaya answered lovingly. "Well..." Mohatu looked into Surabaya's blue eyes once again. Bright and seductive, they pulled Mohatu closer to Surabaya. Mohatu blinked; he didn't know what to do. Should he turn her down like before, he thought? ********start flashback******** "Take you dancing? Why?" "Well, Zhao invited Libya to a dance, so I'm asking you." "Huh? Is that where Libya is?" "Yes, but don't worry too much. In a Dance, no one gets hurt or killed. Just one pleasurable moment to get to know your enemy better." "I'm not sure." Then, Zaire nuzzled Mohatu full length, making him purr excitedly. "You purred. You devil, you can't resist me, can you?" Mohatu smiled and blushed a bit. He agrees that Zaire is very beautiful and very playful when she's in one of those moods. He looked in her eyes, hypnotized by her look of invitation to her body. "Well, I guess, as long as it's for temporary friendly terms." "Thank you. I swear to you now that you'll never regret this." "But, it's my first time that we do that sort of thing." "Don't worry. You'll know what to do immediately," Zaire said with a playful tone. Then, Zaire walked off and Mohatu followed. Zaire looked behind herself and sees that Mohatu stopped in his tracks. "What's wrong, dear?" Zaire asked. "I'm sorry. I...I can't play with you," Mohatu said. "Oh? Why not? I told you it's okay if you don't know how; I'll show you everything." "No. I can't do it. I want...to save it for someone else. I don't want to do it just for fun; I want to do it because I love that person. So, I'm willing to talk with you and get to know you, but I will not take you." "Oh. That's a pity. I'm sorry," Zaire murmured, disappointed. "I'm really sorry." "No, that's okay. We won't go that far in our dance; I promise you that." "Thank you." ********end flashback******** Mohatu closed his eyes and smiled at Surabaya. "That sounds fun. I would love to show you the miracle of life with me," Mohatu said. Surabaya smiled broadly at Mohatu, but after she read Mohatu's expression completely to what he's thinking, she looked disappointed. "Surabaya, don't be discouraged." "I really do feel true love from you; I'm totally sincere. So, why?" Surabaya asked. "Please, don't be sad. I have another love within my pride; that's why. I want to stay a virgin just a while longer. But, I must ask you something. You just met me, but you feel true love. How much would you love me?" "I'll die for you if I must." "If that's so, then you will stay by me. You can be one of my devoted pride members and we can play anytime you wish." Surabaya gasped and smiled at Mohatu in ecstasy. "Really?" Mohatu nodded gently and Surabaya head nuzzled him. "Oh, thank you! You're not abandoning me after all!" Surabaya cheered. Mohatu smiled and wrapped his arm around Surabaya's neck and hugged her. After a while, Mohatu and Surabaya walked side by side through the grasslands. "So, you're of the Gold Lions?" Surabaya said. "And Libya's brother, Kiaos, defeat you in a battle?" "Yes. Everyone now should think I'm dead. As long as they think I'm dead, I can surprise them somehow," Mohatu answered. "I'm sorry, Mohatu. You've been through so much, and I can't do anything to soothe your pain." "Just having such a beauty near me is enough, Surabaya." Surabaya smiled and nuzzled into Mohatu. "You're so sweet," she said. "Thanks. So, what about you? What of your past?" "I was born in the east region of Africa. My father died when I was but a baby, so my mother raised me through my entire life. Then, she died recently of a bad heart." "Oh, you poor dear. Are you okay now?" Mohatu asked sympathetically. "Of course. I'll be fine." Mohatu stopped and nuzzled in Surabaya. Surabaya grinned seductively and nuzzled with him. Then, Surabaya nuzzled from Mohatu and walked in a naughty style. She shook her rump left and right, giving Mohatu "eye candy." "Look at me," Surabaya whispered in a sultry tone of voice. Mohatu stared, unable to look away, with a big smile across his muzzle. Surabaya then slowly walked around Mohatu. Mohatu watched her, examining her every asset: her lush tannish fur, her perfect build, her nice arms and legs, and her rounded rump. Mohatu smiled as he continued to look at Surabaya. Surabaya then sauntered in front of Mohatu and brushed her entire body under his chin. Then, she wrapped around Mohatu slowly like a snake. Mohatu sighed as he felt her body. Then, with a spellbound and seductive look in his eyes, he licked his tongue across Surabaya's back. As he licked, Surabaya took the pleasure and purred. Surabaya moaned softly and looked back with a sly grin. Then, Surabaya kissed Mohatu in his lips. They slowly lied down to the ground with Surabaya on top of Mohatu. They still kissed lovingly and proudly. They broke the kiss and looked at each other fondly. "I love you, Mohatu. I'll even die for you. I can't wait to be one of your mates of your pride," Surabaya said. Mohatu nodded in agreement; it was love at first sight for him. Mohatu suddenly felt so attracted to a lioness he had just met, but it seemed that her past, her gentleness, her sensual nature, and her attraction toward him was all it took. Mohatu has fallen in love with a rogue. *********************Eyecatch 21: Prince of the Gold Lions, Mohatu**************************** *********************Eyecatch 3: Libya, the Queen of the Gold Lions**************************** Mohatu and Surabaya walked until they found the border of the sea. Mohatu looked about and firmed up. "Yes. Just across this sea and I'll be back in the pridelands. But, it will be a long flight. Speaking of which, can you fly?" Mohatu said. "I can't say I can," Surabaya answered. "Well, don't worry. Hold on to my back." Surabaya did what she asked and leapt on Mohatu's back and wrapped her arms around his neck to hold on. "Let's go then. Hold on tight," Mohatu said. Then, Mohatu leapt in the air and flew across the water at a very high-speed. Surabaya held her eyes closed, holding on to Mohatu tightly. Mohatu stormed down the sea, raising the water in the air. Meanwhile, at Firerock Mountain, many of the Black Lions and Shadowlanders slept lazily around the lands. Rhodesia slept silently atop a jagged rock. Then, Uganda walked by and growled suggestively at her. Rhodesia woke up and snarled at Uganda. "Like to play with me?" Uganda asked. "Heh! Forget that! Find someone else to fill your ego," Rhodesia answered. "Oh, but I've got the hots for you and it's killing me inside. I need to relinquish my joy in every way possible with you." "If you want to enter me, you'll have to do it by force." "Ooh, it'll be my pleasure," Uganda whispered seductively. Then, Uganda pounced at Rhodesia and pinned her on her back. Rhodesia cried as she struggled to get free, but Uganda had her by her arms and grinned sensually... Inside the den, Kiaos slurped the bone of his feast. He threw on the ground and slurped his muzzle. Kinshasa grinned toward Kiaos as she nuzzled in his mane. Zambia walked in and gathered all the bones scattered in the den. Kiaos smiled and growled toward Zambia. "Zambia, leave those bones be and let me use you today," Kiaos asked. Zambia growled, "Leave me alone. Let me go on." "Oh, but I insist. You've been working too hard and need great rest. So, come over here and we'll have sex here." "I'll have to pass on that." Then, Zambia started to run away, but Kinshasa pinned her. As Zambia struggled, Kinshasa whispered to her, "I'd reconsider, my dear." Kiaos got up and walked towards Zambia and looked down in her crotch. Kiaos grinned and mounted on Zambia's chest. "Kinshasa, would you like to help me with her?" Kiaos asked. "Oh, why, sure," Kinshasa answered salaciously. Zambia clinched her teeth for her coming rape. "Bambari, I'm so sorry," Zambia thought, a tear crawling from her right eye. Maseru groaned as Caprivi thrusts inside her. Watching them was a defeated Congo. Congo was crushed and tears crawled from his eyes, helpless to help his mate. "I'm sorry, Maseru, but if I interfere, he'll kill you. But..." Congo thought. Congo bowed his head, unable to watch anymore. He sobbed even more as he hears Maseru's cries. Then, Congo sensed something and looked toward his right. Caprivi sensed something as well and frees Maseru to look to the far right. "Hmm, what was that? I'd better see into it," Caprivi thought. Caprivi then ran off quickly. Congo watched him go and ran toward Maseru. Maseru leapt to Congo and hugged him tightly, crying loudly. "Congo! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!!!" Maseru sobbed. "No, it's my fault. Keep crying." As Maseru sobbed, Congo nuzzled deeply Maseru lovingly. Then, he looked toward where Caprivi ran. "I wonder what was that we sensed?" he wondered. Far in the grasslands, Mohatu and Surabaya walked together through the soft wind. Mohatu breathed in the wind and exhaled gently. "The fresh air of my home is strong as ever," Mohatu murmured. Surabaya smiled as she inhaled the gentle wind. "Yes, I agree. It's a lot fresher than the land I used to live in." Surabaya smiled toward the bright sun with her eyes gleaming. "Ahh, what a beautiful atmosphere." Mohatu smiled toward her and nodded. Surabaya smiled back toward Mohatu. They stared lovingly toward each other for a long moment. "You sure you don't want to mate me right here...right now?" Surabaya asked. "Right now......, I'm not so sure I can keep myself under control anymore," Mohatu answered. "You're very, very tempting by just looking at you." "Am I?" "Yes. You truly love me, right?" "I'll die for you." "You'll die for me... Yes, that's right." Mohatu then got closer to Surabaya and wrapped his head on her neck. Then, his arm was placed on her back. "I...can't control myself...any longer," Mohatu whispered. "Neither can I," Surabaya whispered back. "Nature...is taking...control..." "Make me yours...I beg you." "Yes...yes!" Suddenly, before Mohatu could mount Surabaya, an energy blast shot and distracted them. Mohatu jumped and growled toward the blast's source. It was Caprivi! Caprivi looked in disbelief toward Mohatu. "How...how could this be? You're supposed to be dead," Caprivi said. "Well, I had some help with that one," Mohatu replied. "Mohatu, is that Kiaos?" Surabaya asked. "No, it's one of his pride members," Mohatu answered. "Get back." Surabaya looked toward Mohatu and shook her head. "Surabaya, you must stay back. I can't risking losing you when I love you so," Mohatu growled. "I want to fight with you. We can take him together." "Surabaya!" Caprivi smiled and took advantage of Mohatu's distraction by shooting another energy blast. The blast shot Mohatu in his shoulder, catching Surabaya in surprise! Mohatu roared in pain and crippled at his wound. Surabaya went to Mohatu and checked Mohatu's wound sympathetically. Caprivi scoffed, "Missed!" Surabaya growled fiercely at Caprivi and ran at him. Surabaya and Caprivi clawed and growled at each other. But, Caprivi gets the upper paw and paws Surabaya to the ground. "Now, stay down, gorgeous. I'll deal with you later," Caprivi said. As Caprivi walked toward Mohatu, Surabaya weakly stood on her legs. "Mohatu..." Surabaya murmured. Mohatu still was crippled from his painful wound. Caprivi smiled as he starts to take full advantage of Mohatu. Caprivi then head-butts Mohatu in the face, sending him to his side. Mohatu growled fiercely and struggled to get up. But, as he was getting back up, Caprivi lifted his paw, pointed one claw, and shot another energy blast and pierced Mohatu's belly. Mohatu fell to his side again. Mohatu groaned in pain, stunned to move any longer. Caprivi grinned coyly. "So, this is the great and powerful Mohatu Kiaos had trouble with before? What a laugh," Caprivi chuckled. Mohatu groaned, defeated. Caprivi grinned devilishly as he prepared one more shot. "Now, die!!" Caprivi roared. He shot the beam and, as everything went black, someone roared as a piercing sound was heard... ...Mohatu opened his eyes and was surprised to still be alive. "What?" Mohatu murmured. He looked in front of him and made a shocked expression. It was Surabaya! She took the shot for Mohatu to save his life! Blood trailed from her fatal wound as Surabaya panted wearily. Then, she fell to her side, barely alive. "Surabaya..." Mohatu murmured in fright. "Hmph! Too bad. We might've been so good together after I killed Mohatu," Caprivi said. Mohatu's mind then flowed into intense, wild anger. He rose to her feet and growled as a white aura sparked from him. "You!!" Mohatu roared. Caprivi gasped in disbelief as he looked toward Mohatu. The enraged leonine hero then roared, shooting off a huge energy blast toward Caprivi. Before Caprivi could move, the blast hits him, exploding in contact! After the smoke cleared, Caprivi lied on his back, barely alive. Caprivi coughed weakly, unable to move his bloody body. Mohatu then appeared above Caprivi, growling menacingly. "I hate you," Mohatu whispered threateningly. Mohatu raised his paw. "I..." Caprivi stained to say. But, before Caprivi could finish, Mohatu shot his claw at Caprivi's face and everything went black once again!!... "Surabaya! Surabaya!" a voice echoed. ...Eyes opened to see Mohatu with a worried expression. Surabaya groaned as she smiled toward her lover. "Mohatu..." Surabaya murmured weakly. "Surabaya..." Mohatu murmured back. "Mohatu, I love you. Do you love me?" "Of course. But, I'm sorry you had to go through that for me." "Haven't you been listening to me, silly?" Surabaya giggled. "I said I would die for you, didn't I?" Then, Surabaya groaned and coughed laborly. Mohatu's mouth trembled as Surabaya coughed. "No. No, you can't...!" Mohatu cried. "I...can't last much longer. I'm sorry." "No, please don't give up! I love you." Mohatu looked toward Surabaya and tears welled in his eyes. "If...only I'd taken you before...if only I mated you before... You dreamed to be cherished by the lion you truly loved and I stalled it long enough for you to die before having at least one chance in pure bliss. It's all my fault." "No...don't say that. You were right. You was already in love with someone else and it was wrong of me to be so forward on you." Surabaya wrapped her arms around Mohatu's neck and pulled him closer, slowly dying. "Also, at least I had one real true love before I go. That's...more than enough for me," Surabaya said. Mohatu and Surabaya looked each other passionately and their lips met to form a tender kiss. Soft music played in the two lions' minds as their kiss brought them to new imaginations and a soothing image of the future they could have. As the lions broke their embrace, Mohatu and Surabaya both stared at each other with tears crawling from their eyes. But, Surabaya smiled gently toward Mohatu. "I love you, my Surabaya," Mohatu whispered. "And I love you... my Mohatu..." Surabaya finally said. Then, Surabaya's head tilted to the left with a smile. Much to Mohatu's grave sadness, Surabaya has died... As the sunset glowed over the horizon, Mohatu walked down from a large peak over the ocean. Mohatu stopped to look back to the peak. The ground looked disturbed and has a ring of flowers above it. It is Surabaya's grave. Mohatu smiled gently as he remembered Surabaya: when they met the first time, their first kiss, Surabaya's dance for Mohatu, and their final kiss. Mohatu sighed and continued on, stronger in spirit. Surabaya has done that to him. Surabaya's love has strengthened him to new bounds. As the sun continued to set, the flowers swayed in the wind. "And I love you...my Mohatu............" to be continued...
