It was a dark, stormy day in the Pridelands. It's
been a few months since Zira died in the flood in the
gorge and peace ran through the Pridelands until
something was bothering Simba. Simba looked at
Pridelands from the ledge of Pride Rock with a deep
concern on his face. Kovu, the heir to the throne
walked up beside Simba and said, "Simba, what's wrong?
You've been walking back and forth for the last
several days and me, Nala, and Kiara are getting
worried about you." Simba continued to looked out to
the darkening sky and then looking at the very top of
Pride Rock, where a mysterious blade appeared only a
short time ago when some of the rocks fell. Simba
heard legends about a mysterious creature, called a
human helped the first king of Pride Rock battle a
powerful evil that was destroying the Pridelands.
After destroying the evil force, the first king of
Pride Rock changed the human into a lion, a guardian
of the Pridelands to live forever to oversee the
Pridelands and to make sure that no evil ever harms
the kingdom again. Before the human changed into a
lion though, it placed the sword on the top of Pride
Rock and tossed a mysterious item into the air as the
human said that if evil ever threatens the Pridelands
ever again that a hero will come and save the kingdom
before vanishing into the air, becomming the guardian
of the Pridelands, Takauto. "Kovu, even after Scar's
and Zira's deaths, I still feel a powerful evil over
the Pridelands and whoever that Takauto mentioned
about wielding that blade might be ours and the
Pridelands last hope for peace.", Simba said as him
and Kovu looked at the blade.
    Meanwhile, a young guy was in a plane with his
family, heading towards Africa for a nice vacation.
The guy's mother looked at him and said, "Matt, thanks
for letting us come with you to Africa. I really
needed to get away from work and everything." "Don't
worry about it mom. You needed the time away from work
and I was getting restless while preparing for the
Summer X Games in four months.", Matt said as he
closed his eyes and waited to get off the plane. Some
time later, the plane landed in Nairobi, the capital
of Kenya and Matt was finally stretching when his
older brother rammed him from behind. "Damn it Adam!
Watch where you are going!", Matt said angerly as he
got up and looked at his brother with a mean look.
"Tch, what are you going to do about it?", Adam said
with a cocky attitude. Matt was on the verge of
knocking his brother out, before able to control his
anger and walked off. After signing into the hotel
they were staying, Matt decided to head out to the
savanna to see the animals of Africa. He got into a
jeep and drove off towards Pride Rock was.
    Back at Pride Rock, Kiara was giving birth to
three cubs, Taka, Rion, and Tanabi. Taka and Rion were
the males and Tanabi was the only female. Simba smiled
at his grandchildren and at his daughter as he looked
at his wife, Nala. "I'am happy that I finally see my
grandchildren before my time comes.", Simba said as he
walked back to the ledge of Pride Rock with Nala and
looked over his kingdom once more before letting Kovu
become king of the Pridelands. He looked around until
he saw a dark figure heading towards Pride Rock from
the eastern boarders, which concerned him before
looking at Nala and said, "I'am heading to see what
that thing is. Go get Rafiki and tell him to meet me
on the eastern borders of the Pridelands." Nala noded
and said, "Just be careful okay?" With that being
said, Nala ran down Pride Rock and headed towards
Rafiki's tree. Simba went down the other side of Pride
Rock and headed towards where the figure was, not
knowing it's Matt heading right for Pride Rock and his
destiny.
    As Matt was driving towards Pride Rock, a dark,
mysterious figure was watching him closely. "That
human is the one...I must kill him now before he
realizes his destiny.", The figure said as he ran
towards Matt, wielding a dark sword as Matt continued
to drive. Matt drove for a few seconds until he caught
a peek of the figure running towards him. "What
the?!", Matt said as he slammed on the brakes as the
figure sliced the jeep in half, which Matt got out in
time. Matt looked at the figure and said,"Who the hell
are you?" "My name is Nightmare. You are the one to
save the Pridelands...", Nightmare said as he tried to
slash at Matt again. "Save the what?! I don't know
what you are talking about! I know I'am not 'The One'
and I don't know what your deal is, so leave me
alone!", Matt said as he rolled out of the way of the
sword. Simba, who was running out of breath saw Matt
and Nightmare fighting. "Where's Rafiki when you need
him?!", Simba said as Rafiki came out of nowhere and
casted a spell, which knocked Nightmare into some
boulders. "Damn, looks like you got lucky human, but
next time...I will destroy you!", Nightmare said as he
disappeared into the mist. Matt was breathing heavily
as he saw Simba and Rafiki walking towards him before
he fell to the ground and passed out.
    Matt opened his eyes inside the cave at Pride Rock
and saw Simba and the others talking to each other.
Rion saw Matt waking up and yelled to his father.
"Dad, the creature is waking up!", Rion said as Kovu
and everyone else turned their heads at Matt, who was
backing up against a wall. "Where am I?! Oh man, I
wish I chosed a week at the beach, but no... I had to
pick a vacation to the one place I know I would not
like being at and I'am stuck inside a cave filled with
lions!", Matt said to himself as Simba walked towards
him. "Take it easy. We will not harm you.", Simba said
calmly. Matt stopped in his tracks as he heard Simba
speak. "Okay, now I'am losing it! Curse myself for
being so damn careless about going out to the savanna
by myself!", Matt said as he fell back as Simba
started to sniff him. "Are you a human?", Simba said.
Matt nodded in a nervous way as Rion and Tanabi went
up to Matt and started sniffing too and then rubbing
against Matt, purring happily. "Can you please tell me
what's going on?", Matt said nervously as he tensions
were being more at ease. Simba nodded and told Rion
and Tanabi take their brother out to play as he told
Matt about the legend of the blade and the evil that
threatens the peace of the Pridelands. Matt finally
was at ease as he said, "So, you guys think that I'am
the one that will save the Pridelands from this evil?
I don't know what to say, but if you guys really think
I'am the one, then I'am the one that will save the
Pridelands." Simba and the others smiled as they led
Matt outside to the ledge of Pride Rock, which Simba
told everything about the Pridelands and Pride Rock.
Rafiki then told Matt to look at the very top of Pride
Rock, where the blade stood. "You must take that blade
and defeat the evil that wishes to harm the
Pridelands.", Rafiki said as he saw Matt starting to
climb up Pride Rock towards the blade. Matt finally
reached the top of Pride Rock and looked around at the
scenery before looking at the blade. "So, this is it
huh?", Matt thought, "Well, here goes nothing!" Matt
grabbed the handle of the blade and starts pulling
hard, which the blade didn't bulge an inch. Matt was
give up, until he saw a figure standing in front of
him. "So, you are the chosen one. Please, take the
blade and vanish the evil that harms this land. I'll
give you advice throughout your journey.", The figure
said as it vanished as Matt began pulling the blade
again and this time, it finally came out. Matt holded
the sword high above him as he said to himself, "So,
my journey begins..."
    Meanwhile, in a dark region south of the
Pridelands, Nightmare returned to a dark palace.
"Master, do you feel that? That human pulled out the
Earth Blade. I must return and finsih him off before
he learns the power of the Earth Blade.", Nightmare
said as a dark figure put its hand up. "Don't worry
about the human. I want to see if this is the human of
legend, the descendant of the one who destroyed my
father. I brought for Zira and Scar to kill Simba and
Mufasa before the human arrived, but they have failed
me....It'll be only a matter of time when I will get
my revenge on this planet and take it as my own!
Hahahahaha!", The dark figure said as Matt came down
of Pride Rock with the Earth Blade in his hand and
Simba, Nala, Kovu, and the rest were roaring happily
as their hero has come.
