A few days have past since Matt took the Earth
Blade and meeting Simba and the rest of the family.
Matt was going back and forth between hanging around
Pride Rock and staying with his family. While his time
at Pride Rock, Simba told Matt about the Circle of
Life and more about the Pridelands. One night, Matt
sneaked out of the hotel his family and him were
staying and journey off to Pride Rock where Rafiki
told him that he was going to learn how to control the
Earth Blade and how to use magic against enemies he
will face along the way. Matt reached Pride Rock and
saw Rafiki standing in front of him. "So, hero of the
Pridelands, lets see how well you can use the Earth
Blade in battle against me. Don't worry, I will heal
both of us after I see how well you can fight.",
Rafiki said as he was gathering magic to attack Matt
with. Matt took out the blade and said,"Fine, I hope
you are well ready. Here we go!" Matt ran towards
Rafiki with the blade and missed. "You must learn not
to go headstrong into a fight.", Rafiki said as he
casted a spell and hit Matt, which sended him into the
side of Pride Rock, knocking the air out of him. Matt
shooked himself out of it and continue practicing
fighting with Rafiki, while inside the cave of Pride
Rock, Simba was having a dream about Matt and the
darkness. Simba saw Matt standing at the edge of Pride
Rock, somewhat looking like his father, Mufasa. Then,
he saw several other humans, looking like they were
chained and lifeless. Soon after, he saw his grandson,
Rion wielding a evil sword at Matt, looking somewhat
human as well. As soon as Matt jumped at Rion, Simba
woke up with sweat comming down his forehead. Kiara
woke up and saw her father sweating. "Dad, are you
okay?", Kiara said concerned for her father's safety
and health. "I'am fine Kiara. Just go back to
sleep...What's that noise?", Simba said as he walked
outside and saw Matt and Rafiki practicing fighting.
"Hey! I was sleeping you know!", Simba yelled with a
loud tone which Matt ended up kicking Rafiki right
into the side of Pride Rock. "Sorry Rafiki!", Matt
said nervously as he walked over and helped Rafiki
back on to his feet. Matt looked at his watch and
said, "Damn! My family will up in a few hours and they
are supposed to be comming this way for a tour of the
savanna! If they see Pride Rock, I don't know what
they are going to say." Matt jumped on the dirtbike he
was borrowing to practice for the X Games and waved a
good-bye to Simba and Rafiki as he took off back
towards the town.
     Meanwhile back at the dark castle, Nightmare was
walking through the dark hallways as he always does
and then, he picked up something with his powerful
hearing and ran back to his lair and translated the
noise. It was Matt driving back to town, talking to
himself that his mom will kill him if she finds out
that he was out all night in the African savanna by
himself. "Damn...Mom will never let me out of the
house anymore if she finds out that I was gone all
night! Adam and Nicole will rub it in and that no good
boyfriend of mom's, Jim will beat me senseless.", Matt
said to himself as he made it to town and Nightmare
began to smile evilly. "So, this human has family
here? This might be very interesting indeed. I must
tell the master at once!", Nightmare said as he ran
off to tell the dark lord of what he found.
    Most of the day, Matt walked around with his
family and kept on thinking to himself on how he was
choosen to save the Pridelands, probably even the
world from a evil he doesn't even know. Matt looked at
his mom with her boyfriend looking at some stores and
decided to tell them about what's going on until a
fire ball came out of nowhere. Matt saw people running
and screaming as Matt saw a dark figure heading
towards him. "Nightmare!", Matt yelled as Matt's
family gathered around him. "Matt, what the hell is
going on?!", Matt's sister Nicole said. "It's a long
story. I'll tell you guys everything later, but first
get back to the hotel now! I have no time to explain,
just go now!", Matt said as he took out the Earth
Blade. Adam gasped as he saw Matt with a sword and
decided to listen to Matt for once and took off
running with the rest of Matt's family. "So, I finally
found your family.", Nightmare said evilly, "My master
wants them for a transformation project he's been
working on." "What the hell?! There's no way I'am
going to let you get my family, you bastard!", Matt
said as he rushed towards him and swinged the blade,
cutting Nightmare's left hand off. "You pay for
that!", Nightmare said as he sends his fist into
Matt's stomach, knocking the air out of him and
sending him through a window. Matt stayed motionless
as Nightmare laughed evilly as he went after Matt's
family.
    Several hours have pasted and Matt finally woke up
after a couple helped him be nursed back to full
recovery. Matt thanked the couple and walked out. He
gasped as he saw the city was in ruins as Matt
realized what he needed to go. Matt ran to the hotel
where him and his family was staying at and shaked his
head in disbelief as the hotel was in ruins and Matt
ran in to see if there any survivors. Matt looked
around until he saw a young woman, clothes were torn
as Matt got a better look at her. Matt helped her out
and she was shaking hard. "Did you see a group of
white people went?", Matt said calmly, putting a
blanket around her to keep her warm. "I remember
seeing a group of white people from America being
taken by someone to the west.", The woman said as some
people helped her to the hospital. Matt looked to the
west and shaked his head out of the confusion as he
got on his bike and headed back to Pride Rock where he
needed to plan to save his family from Nightmare and
this thing Nightmare called "Master".
    Matt reached Pride Rock as Simba and the others
were crying. Matt ran up to where they were and saw
several slained lionesses with blood everywhere. "What
happened?!", Matt said. Kiara saw Matt and nuzzled
against him as she tried to speak. "A mysterious
creature came here and attacked us. It was holding a
big bag, it looked like humans, just like you. The
thing took Rion and Tanabi as they went to the
forbidden area, south of the Pridelands." Matt was
extremely pissed as he took out his blade. "That
bastard is going to pay for this!", Matt said as he
just about outside the cave when he heard Rafiki
speak. "Matt, you can not defeat Nightmare yet.
Besides, there is a, what you humans say a force field
surrounding the area. The only way to get in is to get
the help of the great kings of the past, but I was
promised not to show it, but there's no other choice.
Mufasa, please forgive me...", Rafiki said as walked
out with Matt to the ledge of Pride Rock. Matt stood
there as Rafiki started to chant as Matt saw clouds
gather. A bright light blinded Matt for a minute and
after the light vanished, Matt couldn't believe it.
There was a path that was leading up to the heavens.
"Go on, you are the last hope for this planet.",
Rafiki said as Matt started to walk up the steps that
led to the Palace of the Great Kings, not knowing the
dangers that he was going to face.
    Meanwhile, in a dungeon in the dark castle, Matt's
family started to wake up from being out cold. Adam
tried to move, but he was in pain and couldn't move as
Nightmare started to walk down the steps with several
guards. "Don't bother trying anything. My master has
been working on secret weapon that will help him take
over this planet. He tooken two lion cubs, a male and
a female and making them into adults as we speak. He
wants to make you fools into his loyal knights....I
know that human I fought is still alive, but no worry,
my master already sent several powerful demons to put
an end to him. The end of him and this planet are at
hand!!! Take these fools to the
lab....hahahahahaha!!!!", Nightmare said as the guards
started herding them to their fates. Adam closed his
eyes and said to himself,"Matt, if you're still alive,
please...You have to save us all!" As Adam said that,
back near the entrence to the Palace of the Great
Kings, Matt heard his brother's voice echoing through
his mind. "Don't worry Adam, I'll save everyone.",
Matt said to himself as he reached the entrence to the
Palace of the Great Kings and started opening it
slowly...not knowing that one of the demons that
Nightmare's master have sent out is watching him and
also goes into the palace.
