Matt saw all the kings cheering for him as he
appeared back at the entrence of the palace. One of
the kings went forward to Matt and bowed as he said,
"Thank you for saving us from that demon's control.
With the demon gone, its knights are vanishing as well
and the palace will be safe once more. If you ever
want to come back to the palace, you are welcome to do
so human." Matt nodded as he walked with Takauto back
to the entrence of the palace. "Matt, you did good on
defeating the wind demon, but the other demons will
not be so easy to be taken down. Here, take this map.
It'll help you locate the other demons that have taken
a strong hold on Africa.", Takauto said as he handed
Matt a map. Matt took the map and nodded as he started
to walk down the steps back to Pride Rock. Takauto
looked at Matt as he walked down the steps and said to
himself, "You have something else inside of you that
will help defeat the evil that plagues this land, but
you still need to learn to harness the blade before I
can teach you your hidden powers."
  Back down at Pride Rock, Matt told Simba and the
others about everything he learned up in the palace.
Rafiki nodded as he said, "So, you need to learn to
use magic in your battles? Rafiki can help you. Come
to my tree and I shall help you to learn to use
magic." Matt nodded as Rafiki left Pride Rock back to
his tree. Simba nuzzled Matt and said, "You must be
tired from the fight. You can rest here and you can
start looking for the other demons when you are
ready." Matt smiled as he layed against the wall,
taking his gear off and sees his cell phone. Matt
picked up his cell phone and saw there was still power
in it. Matt decided to call some of his friends back
in the U.S. Simba and the others are surprised to see
Matt talking on a cell phone as Matt explained the
crisis in Kenya. "Matt, don't worry, we'll try to get
some great bands to come there for a concert.", Matt's
friend, Alex said on the other end of the phone,"We
can get Linkin Park, Adema, and a few others to do it.
I have a plan to get them to do it...Just be careful
out there Matt." Matt said bye to Alex and lays down
and starts to go alseep. Kiara looked at Kovu and
walks over next to Matt and lays down next to him
going to sleep. Matt looked at Kiara sleeping next to
him and purring lightly as Matt sighed as he closed
his eyes and went to sleep.
  The next day, Matt got up before anyone else and
walked outside to the ledge that oversaw the
Pridelands and Matt called up Alex. "Matt, I did it! I
got ESPN to move the X Games to Nairobi to try to help
rebuild the city. Linkin Park, Adema, Eversence,
Trapt, and Yellowcard will do a huge concert during
the X Games as well. Man Matt, the sceens of the
destruction of Nairobi is on all over the
world...Matt, something tells me that the U.S.
goverment is going to try to cover up this mess,
claiming that terrorists planted massive bombs all
over the city, but you Matt know it was not some group
of terrorists that left Nairobi in ruins...You have to
find out who did do it and show the world who was
really responsable before the goverment gets there
first.", Alex said as Matt stayed quiet, thinking if
he should tell Alex about what is going on, but
decided to tell him later. "I understand Alex, I try
everything in my power to find the person that was
responsable...Matt out.", Matt said as he turn off his
cell phone and looked around and turned around and saw
Simba and the others looking at him with a deep
concern on their faces. "Guys, I must leave and
journey to find the remaining demons and put a stop to
all this madness once and for all. The fate of the
Earth now rests on my back and I got to do this
because this is my destiny...even though I trully
never wanted this in the first place." Nala walked up
to Matt and nuzzled her head against his leg as she
said, "We understand. We thought the threat was only
focus on the Pridelands, but it looks like the Earth
is in danger as well. We will work with the Kings of
the Past and Takauto and send you infomation about the
remaining demons and other stuff." Matt nodded and
turned around as soon he heard a Takauto's voice,
"Matt, if you are in trouble in any way during your
journey, call out my name and I will be there to help.
Your next stop will be Mount Kilimanjaro, I'am picking
up a demon's spirit there, it might be the fire
demon...Hurry and get there now!" Matt nodded and took
off running towards Mount Kilimanjaro with a feeling
that he must stop these demons before it's too late.
  Matt ran towards Mount Kilimanjaro for quite some
time, feeling he was having a hard time breathing as
he saw someone in a jeep. Matt looked closely and saw
it was a U.S. military jeep. "Damn...I have no time
with these guys.", Matt thought as the jeep came
closer. The jeep finally stop a few feet away from
Matt as two U.S. Army soliders with AK-47s came out
and called out to Matt. "Halt, who are you and what
are you doing all the way out here?", The older
solider said, gripping the AK-47 tightly in his hand.
Matt knew if he told the soliders what was going on,
they would laugh and take him to their base, getting
his weapons taken away and fate of the Earth will be
sealed. "I got seperated from my tourist group when
some thugs attacked me and knocked me out. When I
woke, I saw Nairobi in flames and ruin, so I went to a
tribe that lived near by and they gave me a sword and
a bow and arrow set, just in case whoever attacked
Nairobi was looking for any other people to kill." The
older solider looked at Matt for a minute, sighed as
he said,"So, you are only a few that either escaped or
never was in the city when it was attacked...I heard
from some of the people there saying that someone
wearing bloody-red armor kidnapped several American
tourists, which I think they are related and some guy
was beaten senseless when he tried to stop
that...thing. Get in the jeep and we'll take you to
our base to take care of those wounds. By the way,
what is your name kid?" Matt stayed quiet for a few
seconds before saying,"My name is Matt Thomsson..."
   Meanwhile, back at the castle Oblivion, Nightmare
stood in front of his "Master". "Master, the humans
that were taken are almost done with the
transformation....That one human is been on my mind
for days since he defeated the wind demon. He is
already getting close to where the fire demon is near
that mountain. Maybe I should....", Nightmare said as
he was interuppted by his master. "No...I have a
better idea. Send the few of my loyal knights who are
just about done with their transformation and we'll
see how that human would think when he sees his own
family in front of him!", Master said as Nightmare
nodded and headed towards the chambers, where Matt's
family were at. 
  Meanwhile, Matt finally reached the U.S. base. It
was not of those bases Matt saw on the news back in
the U.S. The base Matt was at was recently put up a
day after Nightmare attacked Nairobi. The commander of
the base was named T.J. Phelps and he told Matt that
they have found a castle to the south where they last
saw Nightmare headed to. "Matt, you have saw the
person wearing the armor while you were still outside
the city?", T.J. said calmly. Matt realized now that
he won't be able to play this little game of not
knowing what was really going on and said,"Yes...the
armor wearing freak is named Nightmare. I want to tell
you the truth, but you'll think I'am just making
things up." T.J. looked at Matt before saying,"I
really don't know what to believe anymore. Ever since
being dragged to Iran three years ago and seeing stuff
that no one else thought was me trying to make things
more bad..." Matt then told T.J. everything that has
happened so far about Nightmare, the sword he has,
everything. Matt looked at T.J. and expected to hear a
huge laugh, but there was only silence. T.J. walked
back and forth in the tent for several minutes before
saying,"So, Nightmare kidnapped your family and went
to that castle, then took two lion cubs from their
pride and was using them for something...Man, my
superiors are going to think this is load of B.S., but
since getting here we have been having some trouble.
Matt, I'll talk to my troops about what is going
on...even though they will think I have lost it...What
the?!" Matt and T.J. ran out of the tent and hear
explosions and gun fire. T.J. ran to an injured
solider laying on the ground, bleeding to death as
T.J. talked to him about what is going on.
"Sir...there are...two creatures.....like lions
attacking the base....they have abilities I have never
seen before...*cough*..*cough*our men are being
slaugthered...we need to..esc....ape..uhhhh.", The
solider said before dying because of his injuries.
Matt looked around and thought to himself, "Takauto,
we need some help here." Takauto's voice came inside
Matt's head as he said,"Matt, what's going on?"
"Someone or something is attacking this base I'am at
and too many people are dead or dying from their
injuries. Takauto, you need to help the soliders that
are injured or still fighting and get them far from
here...I'am going to see what power is within the Wind
Scar Blade.", Matt said as he looked at T.J. and
said,"T.J., you need to get everyone that you can get
out of here and far from this base, there will be
someone guiding you to safety." T.J. looked at Matt
with confusion on his face for a few seconds before
nodding and got onto a speaker and said out loud,"All
troops, evacuate the base at once! This is not a
drill! All active fighters, get the wounded out of
here and get far from the base! Find any jeeps that
still work and get any weapons and anything else that
will be useful and drive as far as you can! I will
tell more later...Move out now!"
  Matt saw a few dozen soliders grabbing any injured
soliders and placing them on jeeps as others grabbed
guns, ammunition, and food as they put what they can
on the jeeps and either got on the jeeps or start
running as fast as they could from the base. T.J. got
on one of the last jeeps as he said to Matt,"Matt, I
would like to know more about what's going on later,
but I think you better fight those things!" The jeep
drove away as Matt heard a noise from behind, which he
grabbed ahold of the blade and turned around to face
whoever attacked the base, but there was nothing. Matt
looked around with a nervous feeling in his body as
before he could think, he was attacked from behind.
Matt fell to the ground with a numb feeling all over
his body as Matt started to get up as he heard a
familar voice. "Hiya Matt, it seems I hurted you...I
should have use a stronger force to kill you with!",
The voice said as Matt turned around and saw two lions
standing on their hind legs, wearing armor simalar to
the one Nightmare wears. "Adam?! Damn! I have should
have known that had to be you! What the hell happened
to you and is that...Nicole?!", Matt said as he put a
tighter hold on the blade. "Yeah, it's us. Thanks to
our master, we are more powerful than we could
believe. You should join us Matt, think how much
stronger you will be and you don't have to worry about
people picking on you since you can kill them with one
shot of energy.", Adam said as got some of mane out of
his face. "Matt, mom is worried sick about you and she
is waiting back at castle Oblivion for you to join
us.", Nicole said. Matt began to back away from the
two as he said,"Forget it! I was choosen to save the
Earth from your master and if that means I have to
kill my own family to do so....then so be it!!!"
"Fool...", Adam said as him and Nicole roared with
their weapons drawn and ran towards Matt as he lifted
his blade in the air and slammed it to the ground as a
huge amount of energy ran toward them and with one
bright light, there was a huge powerful explosion that
completely destroyed the base.
  Back at Pride Rock, Simba was talking to Rafiki as
he felt the powerful force of Matt's blade. Him and
Rafiki ran back in the den as they waited for the huge
amount of energy to pass. "Rafiki, what was that?!",
Kiara said as she looked at her father and mother. "It
is Matt's energy which is fighting against two
powerful knights that are loyal to the dark master,
Yokimba. As I feared, the battle that with threatened
the very life to this planet is beginning repeating
itself as when Takauto fought Yokimba's father
centuries before and his knights. I must talk to
Mufasa and the kings of the past about how can we save
Matt's family from facing the same fate Takauto's
family did all those centuries before. Simba looked at
Rafiki with a shocked look on his face as he said,
"So, those knights Takauto fought all those years ago
were his...family? He had to kill his own family to
stop Yokimba's father from taking over the world?!"
Rafiki looked down sadly,"Yes...he had to do it. They
were consumed by the darkness in their hearts, but we
must not let history repeat itself again! I will work
with the kings of the past and Takauto to find a way
to free them from Yokimba's control...even though that
they will stuck as lions forever." "Then so be it. We
can help Matt's family to adjust to life here with us
and someday our pride will be bigger and stronger than
ever before!", Simba said as they began to work out a
way to help Matt.
  Meanwhile, back at the ruins of the base, Matt was
having a real hard time fighting his sister and
brother as they continued to blast Matt with energy
and their weapons. Adam was taking most of the hits
and was bleeding pretty badly from his face downwards
as Matt continued his onslaught with no end to his
attacks in sight. Adam coughed up some blood as he
looked at Matt with a pissed off look on his face.
"Damn, you are too damn strong! Nicole, we must
retreat at once before Matt kills us both!", Adam said
as Nicole nodded in agreement and then took off back
to castle Oblivion as Adam yelled back to Matt,"This
is not over Matt! I will train harder and I will
return to finish you off!" Matt fell on one knee as he
replied,"No matter how strong you become Adam...you
and the rest of the family will be defeated and your
master will be destroyed!!!" As Adam and Nicole
disappeared, Matt felt he lost too much energy from
fighting his brother and sister, which he fell to the
ground and passed out. Matt groaned with pain as he
opened his eyes that it was night and to find himself
at a camp-site and seeing that he is with the U.S.
military that escaped the fight eariler. "Looks like
you are awake. How do you feel Matt?", T.J. said as he
stood over Matt. "I feel like crap...what happened?",
Matt said as he tried to get up a little. "Well, after
seeing those two creatures leaving, we came back to
find our base completely destroyed. That's when we saw
you on the ground, hurt and bleeding from that fight
and it seemed that some of your old wounds have opened
again. We have tried to heal you that best we could
with what we had and took you here.", T.J. said as he
gave Matt some food that Matt ate quickly. "Thanks for
saving me back there T.J., but I have to continue my
quest to save my family.", Matt said as he started to
get up, but quickly layed back down. "Matt, your
wounds have not still fully healed. Stay here and
sleep tonight and in the morning, you can continue
your quest. Matt, I did talk about the problem you are
facing right now with my team and they fully
understand about what's going on. Don't worry Matt, I
won't tell my superiors about what is going on. As you
may have guess it, the goverment is claiming
terrorists attacked Nairobi, but they do have a
feeling that is not the case. I will try to talk to
them later, but right now my team will help you get to
where you need to be right now.", T.J. said. Matt
looked at him and smiled for the first time in a long
time and said,"Can you take me to Mount Kilimanjaro?"
