In the book "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" (sequal to "Bridget Jones' Diary" by Helen Fielding), Bridget's mum brings home a tribesman from Africa, and throughout the whole book a commonly-used phrase is "Hakuna Matata"!

In the book Bridget Jones: the edge of reason, Bridget's mother Pam goes to Africa and brings a tribesman called Wellington back to England. When Bridget meets her mother at the airport she is greeted with 'Hakuna Matata, don't worry be happy' and the Rotary at Kettering adopt it as their motto when Wellington comes to give a speech
