Okay. I stumbled onto this one when I was cross-referencing the character descriptions on my web site with the Internet Movie Database: Nbongeni Ngeme, who did various vocal arrangements in The Lion King and related projects, was the writer, composer, and an actor in the movie Sarafina!. Whoopi Goldberg, who voiced Shenzi in TLK, also costars in the movie.
