"If a picture is worth 1,000 words, here are a couple of grand."
First time I saw Shrek in theatres, they showed a scane where Shrek and Donkey are lying on their backs, looking at the stars. If THAT'S not enough, catch this:

Shrek: No, really! See? There he is, and there's the group of hunters running away from his stench."
Donkey: Man, that ain't nothing but A BUNCH OF LITTLE DOTS.

2nd, In the first "Lord of the Rings", there's a part when Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin; the four Hobbits are being chased by a farmer for stealing crops. As they come to a cliff, Frodo, Sam, and Merry screech to a halt in a line. Then Pippin bashes into them, sending them all down the cliff. It reminded me of when the hyenas were chasing Simba into the thorns and Shenzi and Banzai screeh to a stop, but are bashed down by Ed.

In the first shrek when shrek, donkey, and feiona are running away from the dragon they come to a spine like slide(very similare to the rib cage simba and nala slid down running from the hienas) srek grabbs feiona and donkey anc slides down the thing. you see a camara angle that makes it look exactly like the lion-king scene. im slightly shocked noone else noticed.
