En france, le roi lion a eu un enorme succes,et je dois avouer que jamais de ma vie je n'aurais pu aller au cinema 4 fois pour le revoir... et pourtant, j'ai tellement adore ce film que j'ai payer ' fois 50 franc... crazy isn't it? les personnages sont formidable/ je suis en adoration devant SIMBA et en admiration devant NALA... je vous le repete? mon adoration pour ce film est extreme!! je suis sans doute un peu folle mais a en voir le nombre de fou sur ce reseau, je me dis qu'apres tout je ne suis visiblement pas la seule, et tant mieux!!! big kiss for all of the fan of the lion king, HAKUNA MATATA! Well, I'm a big LK fan. Though when it first came out, I never thought that Disney would be able to beat Aladdin with its computer animation. But when I saw it for the first time, I was addicted. I saw it about five or six times at the theatre, and was the first in line for the video. Within two weeks, I had every line of the movie with its gestures and everything mesmorized. I still like to brush up on them, though I admit I'm probably a bit rusty. Anyway, my favorite movie is still LK and probably always will be. I'm 19, and so I take a little heat from friends, but I stand next to Simba all the way!

Hi, Brian! Not to sound drastic, but I am truly blown away by your incredible Lion King site. It is a monument to many hours and days and nights slaving away at a project of love. I'm glad I finally got Netscape so I could see the enhanced version of this site. Anyway, I am obviously a big TLK fan, but with a limited budget so I wasn't able to paper my walls with...come to think of it: _do_ they (anyone) have TLK wallpaper? I do have some money to work with now and it would sure beat this strawberry fish dog...uh...lovely wallpaper. I'm more attached to TLK. But I did manage to get a plush Simba and Nala, posters, bookbags and the like to cry out to the world that I am a you-know-what! Right now, besides the wallpaper which just came to mind, I'm trying to find the French version: Le Roi Lion, the music CD and, especially, the videocassette movie on VHS. I'm in French III and am seriously looking to improve my verbal French. I figure combining the two loves would be a winner. I tried to get the nickname Zazu (or even more weirdly, Nala; I identify with the character even though she's female, though I have felt like Simba at times too) to stick, but alas it did not. Me, I'm a little unusual, unorthodox (I have CP, that probably helped), with a weird sense of humor and a goal to be the best person I can be. TLK has helped, in that I laugh, smile, and I get a warm feeling in my stomach or a pleasant chill in my frame when I hear that music. People are my music. And Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Nala... are most definitely people. À demain, mes amis.Maintainer's Note: Glad to hear it! It's truly good to know that TLK is still the king among so many people-- it's touched us all, and I know many of our lives are significantly different because of it. Disney perhaps doesn't even realize just how intensely they stumbled upon an undeniable, undying masterpiece. Keep it up, folks! :) -BR
